The representative tried to upsale me to their toll-package, when I didn't agree to buy they doubled my rate for the rental. Ended up not taking the car and canceled my plans.

Staff were professional, pick up and drop off easy. Price? Awful. I felt like I was " nickel and dimed" with fees that weren't on the web page, such as$10 per day for a gas car, $10 plus toll for every day I used a toll road and the ez pass. Bill was almost $800 for 6 days. Hertz is now my last choice.

The car interior smelled of cigarettes, had 60,000 miles on it, was misaligned and wobbly at highway speeds, had scratches on exterior, had severely worn floor mats. I've never had a rental from a major brand that was in such poor condition. Noted these items to Hertz and received a perfunctory form email with no substance. Disappointing.

Pros:

Nothing since I didn’t get to rent the car

Cons:

The appointment that was made was at a time when enterprise was closed. When I called to confirm nothing was mentioned about needing to change the pick up time. When I showed up at the time my contract said the employees stated they were closed and that I couldn’t rent the car. When I tried to show my confirmation and the time I arrived was the same they responded stores have closing times and I should have informed myself of the closing time.
