While the car was fine, the poor rating is for the lack of customer service that I experienced. The staff was (in particular Javier) is rude and very Unaccommodating. They made everything difficult for me as a customer. Every question or request was confrontational and was a “no” response. In the future, I will make sure to avoid Budget/Avis Diamond Bar for my rental needs. They have a 1 and a half star on Yelp, and I can totally understand why. Avoid Budget and Javier at all costs.
I didn’t like the fact that I couldn’t use my debit card I don’t have a credit card at all and got turned away when I really needed a truck for a few hours to move my small furniture.
