Pros: nothing. facility was closed and I could not get the car
Cons: The kayak site said the bellevue budget rental at hilton is open up to 4 pm on sunday. I booked the car for 3 pm.
I got a reminder from the budget office that my car is ready to be picked up at 3 pm!! It also had the working hours listed as open until 3 pm on sunday. Yet, when I went there at 3 pm, the hotel people said the car rental desk closes at 2 pm on Sunday.
So, i ended up wasting a ton of time going there, trying to call the Budget main office to see where i can pick this car from and every time the line would get in the middle as though Budget did not want to be bothered about it.
Cons: Our reservation was for 08:00. I was called at 07:50 (10 minutes prior to our pick up) and told that there wasn't a car available and that they were only able to place 5 out of 12 reservations in cars the previous day. There "wasn't anything that could be done" so I called the customer service line. This was an incredibly cumbersome process with no assistance provided. I made four separate calls. I was transferred to Dollar Rentals to see if they would have a car for me? I do not feel that this situation was handled well by the Hertz company from every angle. I did not feel that, I, the customer should have been responsible for calling other locations and companies for your error. It was very unprofessional.
