Pros: Was the best experience I've had with renting a car. Efficient and pleasant, I would not hesitate to rent from EZ car again.

Rude Counter Agent
Cons: The reservation expired because the time it took to get from the airport to the counter was unavoidably extended. The counter agent told us the reservation expired and then told us we should have arrived to the counter on time and then tried to up-sell us a larger and more expensive car. We moved on to the Alamo counter and were very happy with the service and price we received. I would not use Kayak or E-Z Rent-A-Car again.

Excellent Customer Service; Smoky car
Pros: Our rental agent was amazing in Seattle! She was quick, efficient, did not try to hard sell additional insurance. In addition, she was kind, professional and had excellent customer service skills.
Cons: We picked up the car around 9:00 pm, and the car was parked in a dark area of the garage. I did a walk around inspection and the car looked great, with a few minor scratches. I did not think to check the interior. The interior was clean, but the front seats were really stained and there was a burn mark from a cigarette on the driver's seat. We were also missing a floor mat on the passenger side. But, the worst part was the awful cigarette smoke smell. It was so bad that we often drove with the windows open. My rating reflects the smell; and I will always check the interior before driving away!

Overpriced gas, complicated pick up
Cons: Gas was $6 a gallon upon return, which is standard for rentals, but still terrible. The pick up process was not streamlined, a lot of "give this person this paper", which they didn't need. The companies have computers, use them.

Cons: The first car they gave me clearly had mechanical problems. Also, the attendant did not check the physical condition of the exterior of the car with me. When I came in to return the poorly functioning car for another, I asked for my discount rate (via Kayak) and the woman at the counter said the computer automatically changes it to the full rate when exchanging a vehicle. I insisted on my original rate since the car was performing badly, and I waited around for another 20 minutes while they tried to override the function in the system. I did get a decent car eventually, but it smelled like cigarette smoke. I probably won't risk using them again.

Pros: My last experience with Alamo was excellent. I had some troubles with my credit card and the Alamo representative was very patient, kind and friendly, and helped me figure out my problem. Extremely satisfied with Alamo.

Pros: Liked the fact that you could pick out the car you wanted. Liked all the attendants they had to check us in. The long lines went very quickly.
Cons: Not your fault but we could have picked out a better car. It was pretty noisy.

Cons: I didn't like how pushy and judgmental our agent was at the counter. He kept pushing a larger car and add-ons (e.g., insurance). It was obvious to us that he was scaring us into getting the insurance (when I have sufficient coverage of my own). "We usually don't like letting our customers get a [small] economy car with no insurance." "Those cars are the size of a Fiat cut in half." ...when we declined the insurance..."Living on the edge, huh?" We couldn't help but leave feeling a bit negligent for our decision, which is not something that I think a sales agent should do. Please no scare tactics at pick-up!

Pros: I liked that is was a nice car and had the backup feature that was wonderful!
Cons: Missouri plates... couldn't help but think that people were judging us because of out of state plates. As a tourist in a new city I tend to be a cautious driver.
Cons: Passenger left a camera in the car. I was charged $71 to ship the camera back to its owner in Canada. My credit card was charged before checking with me on the shipping cost first. This was as much as the entire weekend car rental!
I would have appreciate a call before proceeding with the shipping charge. I would have had the camera shipped to me in the US otherwise or asked for cheaper shipping options.
I was a bit surprised because Enterprise prides themselves on great customer service. This was a miss, in my opinion.

One Way from SEA to PDX
Pros: Got a Versa Note SV; had Bluetooth and good MPG. Enough power for one person. Easy Rental, Personalized Service.
Cons: The car wasn't super comfortable for the long drive, but it's sort of expected.

Disappointed- SEA-TAC to Vancouver
Cons: I rented the car to get from Seattle to Vancouver- they gave me a tiny compact Nissan because it had Canadian plates-yet still charged me an additional $200 for returning it for them. They should have at least removed the drop-off fee- or given me the car that I had originally selected.

2 hour wait
Pros: My wife and I arrived at Seattle at 11:00pm , Enterprise was closed and they steered all the customers to Alamo , we made our reservations for a car days before , unfortunately all that was for nouthing, it was like we were new customers at Alamo , all the enterprise customers had to rent from Alamo, the only good thing that came out everything was that Alamo honored the price from the reservation.

Cons: Initially they said they rate was different than my original reservation, I didn't mention anything and waited. When I dropped off the car theto charged the correct rate without me saying a word. And my reservation or something was through a different system at the pickup so others were being helped whIle I continued to wait for some 2.0 reservation system. Confusing for me and the staff it seemed.

A quite pleasant experience at the Seattle-Tacoma
Pros: Very quick service - the automated Kiosk is one of the better ones I experienced. Personnel was friendly and courteous and professional about the cars. Price was outstanding for a full size sedan.
Cons: At this particular location and at the particular time and date and turnover of cars at the lot very fast, and selection of a particular class of vehicles appeared to be limited for that reason. Nevertheless, we were happy with the Nissan Altima as a full size sedan selection.
Cons: Our reservation was for 08:00. I was called at 07:50 (10 minutes prior to our pick up) and told that there wasn't a car available and that they were only able to place 5 out of 12 reservations in cars the previous day. There "wasn't anything that could be done" so I called the customer service line. This was an incredibly cumbersome process with no assistance provided. I made four separate calls. I was transferred to Dollar Rentals to see if they would have a car for me? I do not feel that this situation was handled well by the Hertz company from every angle. I did not feel that, I, the customer should have been responsible for calling other locations and companies for your error. It was very unprofessional.
Cons: Several vehicles I chose - but didn't drive away - wreaked of cigarettes! Are you guys charging/fining people afterwards when they blantantly disregard the agreement terms that say NO SMOKING - because National is clearly NOT doing anything to actually clean the horrible smell from the vehicles. This is a big problem I always have with National and in general the rental industry effectively encourages people to smoke in their vehicles as the do nothing to enforce - or recitify the problem after the fact.
