No hurricane compPros:CarCons:It was awful that I was charged for the three extra days that I could not get a flight home and that I was not able to use the car could not return the car and could not get a flight at that airport where I rented it due to hurricane Irma airports closed in Florida and Atlanta and roads too dangerous to drive. I would very much appreciate somebody reimbursing me for those three days of non-usage and unable to return the car and being price gouged for nine dollars a gallon because I could not find gas and returned it have phone was charged $90 for gas for half a tank I would very much appreciate somebody reimbursing me for those three days of non-usage and unable to return the car and being price gouged at $9 a gallon because I could not find gas charged $90 for gas for half a tank. !!!Reviewed Sep 17 2017

Cons:I am trying to get a refund for this trip. I arrived, the car rental place had 2 reservations for 1 day each, for different car types, rather than one reservation for 3 days. The costs were different, the car types were different, and it didn't honor the $15/day reservation I made online. I tried to cancel with priceline and have not been successful yet (this was made in partnership of some kind?) I did not take the rental car, the headache was too much of trying to get things sorted out. You can speak with Jason at the EZ car rental at ATL airport for more details. I took a lyft. Pros:The car was great.Cons:I reserved the car online and it was supposed to be a rental with unlimited mileage. When I picked it up I was told it wasn't unlimited mileage because I had a local identification. (?).... I argued but in the end it didn't matter in my case. I was allowed 150 miles per day which was plenty for me. However, when I returned the car they said I had driven 1,600 miles and I would have to pay hundreds of dollars extra for the rental. Luckily I took a picture of the odometer at the time I rented the car. Going under the details of the picture they could see the time and date the photo was taken. I actually had only driven 400 miles in 8 days. Somehow their computer said the car had 1,200 fewer miles on it than it did at the time of the rental. How did this happen? Was it the rude woman at the pickup desk that I had argued with? I don't know for sure but that would be my guess. Beware if you rent from this company and make sure to take a photo of the odometer as well as any damage to the vehicle.Reviewed Dec 6 2017

will never recommend E-Z Rent-A-CarPros:NothingCons:Few customers but the time to get service was about 20-30 minutes. The first car I was assigned had a tailpipe loose. Had to be assigned a second car. The two cars I experienced had air freshener that was not pleasant. The second car had stains in the drivers seat. The second car leaked water. I took pictures of where the water was leaking into the car from under the dash as well as from the roof/headliner. They have you inspect the vehicle before you drive, but the garage is so dark and the car was wet it was difficult to inspect. Had to use the phone flash led to provide light to inspect the car.Reviewed Jan 2 2016

They Do Not Honor Reservations!Pros:Nothing.Cons:Even though I had a car reservation I was told when I arrived (on time!) that they did not have any cars left. I asked what the point of my reservation was or having a confirmation # and the man at the counter said "I guess I don't know." He also said that since it was 30 minutes before most of the workers got off of their shift, there was no way that any cars would be cleaned and available tonight. So I had no choice but to go to another car company who had cars available and ended up paying twice as much as my EZ quote. DO NOT be fooled by the "value" they offer -- the value and your reservation are not actually a guarantee that you will even have a car. And this was at ATL, a major airport -- where cars should be abundant.Reviewed Dec 2 2016

Won't rent again if I can avoid it.Cons:Went to rental counter and no one was there. There was a sign sending people to another floor and another counter to rent a car. Got there and the man behind the counter was yelling out that he wouldn't honor any rental reservations made that day. (Mine was made the day before, so I was fine, but I still find it bad business to allow customers to make reservations and then refuse to honor them.) Customer service was extremely slow, and then on top of that I had to wait half an hour for a car to be available. When I returned the car, I park the car and walked up to the booth to find a sign saying that I needed to return the car to a different location. I had to drive to a new location to return the car. The car itself was not in the class I requested, of course, although that seems to be more the norm. In short, I won't rent here again.Reviewed Nov 15 2017

Pros:Received a bigger car than expected. Pick up and drop off from airport was super easy.Cons:I prepaid for my car rental. When I went to pick the car up, I was told by the receptionist that she was reducing the price to $250 (instead of $390) and upgrading my car. Great! She asks me if I want insurance, I tell her no. She says to “sign here” for the upgrade and reduced car fee, I sign, and drive away. Later check my cc bill and I’ve been charged for the original cost ($390) and the additional $250. I call EZ and they tell me the $250 was for insurance I signed up for. The receptionist signed me up for insurance under a false sale of the upgraded car/reduced fee! Was told it was my fault for not reading multiple pages of fine print contract lingo. Just terrible! Took me days and days to find resolution because EZ doesn’t allow you to call specific car rental locations. They did eventually drop the $250 charge after hours of me and my spouse trying to talk to someone that wasn’t slimy. Will never use again. I would never normally write a review but would never want a business traveler to have to deal with this company.Reviewed Feb 27 2018

Manually slow, clunky check in process but if youPros:Good value for the money.Cons:Check in is ALWAYS painfully slow. If there is a line at check in forget it, you'll be waiting 45 minutes to check in, and then at best another eight minutes to get your keys.... Deceiving price and servicePros:The car size was goidCons:Charged me for miles after the payment on line said price included unlimited miles. Had to wait a hour for a car, because there were 12 people in front of me in line and no cars in the lot. Reservations did nothing nor paying online ahead of time.
