They don't seem to care much about the cars
Pros: The car was unwashed but the interior was fine. Return was professional.
Cons: First car had the entire side view mirror ripped off. Refused it immediately in the parking lot and got a new one without any apologetic attitude. Seems like they could care less about the car or the customer for that matter.

Complete chaos at pick-up
Pros: Because of the shortage of rental car next day when we finally got our car, we needed up getting Ford Mustang convertible.
Cons: When we landed and reached to pick up our car, the facility didn't have any car available. There were other guest left without car as well as 1AM. We had to go next day morning to pick up our car and wasted lot of time. Also when tried to reach them by phone no one picked up even when we tried 10+ times. I would try not to save few dollars for such a big inconvenience next time!

Pros: The girl that checked me out was friendly, efficient and great!
Cons: The shuttle bus took 60 minutes to pick me up from airport. When I arrived, there was a long line and it took me two hours to pick up my car and it was after midnight! The minute I drove off, the check tires light came on. Worried me and I had to go to mechanic to get air in my tires, all four! There was no washer fluid, so I drove with filthy Windows for two weeks. The wait, hassle and inconvenience were not worth the savings in cost. I will never, ever use your company again!!!!!!

EZ RENTAL HAS JOINED ADVANTAGE
Pros: I love EZ RENTAL - but they moved locations and joined advantage. There was over an hour wait to pick up my car the car was clearly not cleaned or vacuumed inside or outside. I specifically asked for a working USB plug in to charge my phone while using GPS. The Charging worked but would not play over the car speakers. so NO spottily and NO voice instruction from GPS

Worst. Car. Rental. Ever l.
Cons: There was a line almost out the door with only 2 employees working. We waited 45 minutes and barely moved 5 foot up the queue. Mind you, this line was just to pick up a car!! We ended up giving up on this place (even though we already had everything paid for) and rented from somewhere else.

Pros: The wait time at the pick was over an hour. Though the gentleman at the counter was great. Nice job!

Horrible pick up experience
Pros: The car itself was fine. Very new and clean.
Cons: The frequency of vans running from terminal to offsite location was insufficient. Waited almost 20 mins for pickup. Then, upon arriving, found ourselves in a 50 minute line to get the car. No way should it take over an hour to rent a car.

Pros: unbelievable that this is a product on kayak - lost respect for kayak for even offering this product - the EZ rent a car regularly irritates and upsets people, that is well known - i was unfortunately introduced to the company and i blame KAYAK fully

Pros: Quality of the drive. Great price!
Cons: A used tissue in the passenger door compartment. Sorry I failed to inform you of a loud noise that seemed to be coming from the passenger side front brake.

Pros: Decent price.
Cons: Pick-up incredibly slow and inefficient. Getting out of the lot a hassle, then turns out the wrong car was in my parking space, and had to get out of the exit line, pick up the correct one, etc. E-Z used to be better when it was separate from Advantage. NOT professional service.

Pros: Car was fine. Convenient close to airport and resonable price.
Cons: When I tried calling the desk when I first arrived, nobody would answer the phone. That was not a good first impression.

Pros: Car was great and the service was quick.
Cons: Shuttle service did not pick up every 10 minutes. It didn't seem like any employees cared when asked by multiple customers.

Pros: The vehicle was clean.
Cons: The wait was long and there were a lot more fees and hurdles than with traditional car rental companies. In the future I will rent elsewhere.

For the price, can't beat it
Pros: Great location and valua. They gte you out of the office and on the road extremely quickly and efficiently.
Cons: I wait ed a very long time for a shuttle to come by that says EZ car rental. 40 minutes. What I realized later is they shre rides with Advantage... so I could have gotten on an Andvantage shuttle 30 minutes earlier but how would I know that? NOW I do.

Pros: staff were courteous. Rental price was excellent.
Cons: Car assigned was not available in parking space. Had to wait in line at customer service for another car to be assigned. Car was not clean. Needed vacuumed and food stains on ceiling of car.

Pros: I use car rentals very infrequently. We booked the car online while traveling. We were exhausted and did not see any notice about a $200 deposit. So we didn't pay attention to our funds to keep that amount available. When we finally arrived at the rental place we had been traveling for 20 hours and just wanted to get home. We had $182 dollars immediately available. Not only would they not work with that, they did not seem interested at all in helping us find an alternative solution. Luckily I was able to call a relative to transfer money. Had that not been an option, we would have been stranded in L.A. trying to get back to San Diego. This survey is also frustrating because I can't adjust the rating for each category. Overall, it was a poor experience.

Pros: Customer service was great in person.
Cons: No answer when I called. Hard to figure out where to take the shuttle (mostly an airport problem) but clear directions included at time of booking would be most helpful.

Bad address and phone number
Pros: Nothing, bad address and phone number on E-Z rentals .I caught the bus there and the building was empty with no company. I walked to find another car rental. Thomas Thompson

Pros: Car was good. In good condition and clean.
Cons: Car rental place changed location and I wasn't notified of that. So I was driving around looking for a Rental place which wasn't there. When I got to the new location, I stent 45 minutes waiting until the agent could find a minivan( which I ordered in advance). The agent was nice and tried his best to accommodate me, but was complaining about management being unavailable temporarily to fulfill his request. After 45 minutes he got me what I ordered.

First car fail
Pros: Standard rental car
Cons: 10-15 minute wait for pickup, slow counter service, and then when only several blocks from the agency, steam erupted from under the hood. Thank goodness we were still close to the rental agency and we could make it back to exchange cars.

All good, difficulties dropping off
Pros: Great car, great price and good overall service.
Cons: The address listed on the email wasn't the correct place to drop the car off (we think it's the shuttle bus address?) so we had to figure out where the drop off location was ourselves - it wasn't particularly tricky but if you're late for a flight, this could be problematic...

Avoid E-Z Rent-A-Car at LAX
Pros: I was first ignored, and after standing at the counter for awhile, one of the Guys, sauntered over and ask me what I wanted. What do most people want who show up at a rental counter after a long flight.
Cons: They cancelled my van reservation before I arrived at the lot, or so they told me they had, and when they thought they had me "over a barrel", offered me a different model van at a rate that was apex double. Fortunately for me, I had another option, and didn’t rent from them. I would Never Consider EZ Rental at LAX or any other airport again.

I will not use E-Z car rental in LA again
Cons: Pick-up instructions were very vague. I waited at the car rental bus pickup for 30 minutes. When no one arrived I called and was told I needed to pick up the Sheraton bus. This was not disclosed on the pickup instructions. When i finally got my car, the passenger side door was all scratched up and the interior seats were stained. I accepted the car anyway. When I was ready to return the car the battery went dead at the gas station and I had to buy jumper cables to start the car. I told them this when I checked the car in and there was no offer to reimburse me.

Reservation times inaccurate, then cancelled
Cons: Even though my Kayak search was for a rental car pick-up at 11:30pm, the reservation time was made for 11pm. Since my flight didn't land until 11:20pm, and after waiting for the EZ Rental Car shuttle for 20 minutes, I didn't arrive at the rental facility until about midnight. I waited in line for 25 minutes and when I got to the counter they had cancelled my reservation because they only hold it for 1 hour from the pick-up time (which had changed to 11pm somewhere between Kayak and EZ). I had reserved an economy car, but they were out, so I had to pay for the more expensive car, an increase of $40. The return shuttle on the way back to LAX was very slow- we waited at least 30 minutes for a ride. Several shuttles went by the stop with no explanation as to why they didn't pick us up- the rental counter said those drivers were probably off duty.

Pros: The car was fine, although I booked a more fuel-efficient model.
Cons: We were stuck at the airport waiting for misplaced luggage and therefore called E-Z Rent-A-Car to let them know we would pick up the car later than expected. After we recovered the luggage and fared to the rental office, the clerk tells us the system automatically cancelled our reservation after two hours. What about the phone call I gave them, ask I. There's no note of it in my reservation, says he. He adds, unfortunately, that he doesn't have economy vehicles left so he has to upgrade us to a higher model. At a cost. One of these guys didn't do his job and I had to pay extra for the mistake. Mistakes happen, but they could have provided a car at the original price. They did not, so I won't be renting from them on principle.

Awesome cat rental
Pros: I am very impressed with E Z car rental. The shuttle bus was prompt and very frequent to and from airport. Drivers very friendly and helpful. The customer service agents at E Z car rental were extremely friendly and helpful. They even gave us a two car upgrade for free. The price was excellent. I will definitely use them again!! Thanks E Z car rental LAX!!
