Pros: They had free water during my half hour wait
Cons: For starters, the location was difficult to find and was without additional parking for the person who dropped me off to pick up the vehicle. I get that the majority of people renting from this location are coming in from flights, but one parking spot isn't too much to expect. Next, when checking out the staff behind the counter were not particularly helpful and challenging after declining additional coverage or prepaying for the gas. Then, after that it was a 25 minute wait for the car to be pulled up. There was no one in front of me. After the first 10minutes, someone would come out and say "your car is on the way, it'll be here in 5 minutes..." That happened 3 times... finally when our Tahoe came around, no one inspected it with us to verify previous damage or the gas tank, or even had me sign a confirmation that I had received the vehicle. We just went around a took pictures of the current dents and scratches incase they decided to claim we caused them. The car was all right, but not particularly clean and had tons of greasy hand prints on the inside windows. When returning the car, I pulled into a return lane, all of which were full of vacant vehicles. There was no signage with instructions on what to do and no attendant was readily available. I asked someone who looked like an employee what I needed to do to return the vehicle. She directed me to the inside counter where I waited (as the only customer) for 5 minutes as 3 men behind the counter had a non-work related conversation. One of them did ask me what I needed, but didn't respond after I answered that I just needed to return the car. Finally another person came to the counter and told me I needed to give the keys to the attendant outside who would give me a receipt. When I returned outside, I waited again until the same woman from before pulled up in one of the cars. I asked her where I needed to go to get my receipt. She told me to just leave the keys in the car and it would be emailed to me. Why couldn't she have just said this before? Overall, this was the most difficult and unprofessional experience I have had renting a car. The Tahoe was fine and served its purpose for the weekend, but this hertz location needs to reevaluate some things...

Cons: When I requested the car, I requested from the San Antonio airport & didn't realize the pickup was offsite. They were closed when the 'boys' arrived and they had to rent a car at the airport. I will have to pay closer attention to the location in the future.

Great car, but hard to find location at the airpor
Pros: Kia Soul was actually a nice car Price through Kayak was reasonable
Cons: Finding my way out of and back to the rental location.
