Pros: The car was operational and drop-off was easy enough.
Cons: Paid 30% more than my original booking price without any damages. Will not use payless again.

DO NOT CHARGE ME FOR INSURANCE I DECLINED
Pros: Ease of pick-up and drop-off. Office personnel : friendly and courteous, but I was not happy with a charge--"What I didn't like."
Cons: I was charged for "RSP" even though I stated at check in that I declined all insurance. RSP is not spelled out in the contract, I discovered later that it is Roadside Service.

Pros: I really liked how quickly Krystal checked me in and got my car. I was in and out quickly.
Cons: The interior of the car was dirty on the drivers side door. When the car door was opened it looked like a drink was spilled and then dried. You could see the little spots of liquid.

Cons: When I picked up the car the representative told me they refill gas at the local rate of around with dollars per gallon. When I arrived to drop off they told me it was 9 dollars. I will never use Payless again if this is not reconciled.

AC In and Out, cost more than QuotedOnline
Cons: AC went in and out, it was torturous in this heat. Nobody seemed to care. I called numerous it with no answer n left messages but no return call. Also I was quoted $61 for two days booking through kayak then priced at $75 there. I returned it less than 24hrs later n charged $52 for one day! For a hot crappy car, wasnt a happy customer :(.

Pros: Check out was a breeze.
Cons: Check in took almost 25 minutes, and there were only two people in front of me. Did not help that only one person was at the counter, nor that the folks in front of me seemed to want to change every thing in their car rental contract. Not fun.

Car Rental Experience
Pros: The car was great, it was better than expected. Drop-off process was quick and easy.
Cons: I chose the rental organization based on the kind of car I wanted. I had specific needs. I worked with two of them and neither company had the car available they pictured in the ad. When I say not available I mean they didn't even offer the car pictured. I spent 4 hours trying to get the right car. That's way too long.

Timeliness And Cleanliness
Pros: The close proximity of the rental car pick up/drop off to the airport and major highway.
Cons: it took more than 20 minutes for customers in front of me to receive their vehicle. The agent was very courteous but, not sure why it was so hard to locate a vehicle to rent. Aren't vehicles readily available for customers? And the same happened for me but it only took about 10 minutes. The vehicle I did receive was clean inside and out with the exception of the all the stains on the back and front seats. If I had been traveling with my family I would have demanded another vehicle.

Too many hidden fees
Cons: Pick up was very much a hassle. I already made a reservation online with all my information, but when I came to pick up my rental I was asked all the same questions again. Why? Then they charged me $200 for using my debit card, on top of all the other hidden fees, the total amount was double what the rental was suppose to be.

Cons: Car was hail damaged, back seat was dirty, carpets needed vacuuming, floor mats were missing. I was given a letter at the gate which apologized for the hail damage but their clerk was insisting that I take damage coverage in spite of the car being in such poor condition. When I returned it no one was there, Avis took posession of the car and their clerk had nothing but bad things to say about payless employees.

Great car, not great service.
Pros: Kind of car that I got for the money spent was brilliant.
Cons: Car was dirty on outside when I picked it up. Asked for it to be cleaned before I took it. They rinsed it off, didn't dry it, and I had hard water spots all over the black paint and windows.

Payless delivered what was promised
Pros: The cost quoted was what I paid. There were no hidden costs
Cons: Only one person at the counter so check in took awhile but that's a small complaint

Left us stranded
Cons: No car and no representatives. Literally left stranded with 15 other people. We were then offered rentals at 3x the price we had reserved through a competitor and had no choice since we had taken a shuttle from the airpor. HORRIBLE.
