At pick up they were somewhat friendly but, returning the car was an ordeal, it took a long time and they were rude.Cons:
A car that had functioning windows and keys. Giving me the right return information. Letting me know the final cost and not charge extra afterwards, $90 more than expected on a two day rental is robbery.9.2 Wonderful

I reserved a vehicle online, the reservation confirmed the vehicle was at the location I needed so I thought OK everything is going work out. I called the budget location that I was going to be picking the vehicle up from that’s were things took a turn. The guy could barely speak English the vehicle that I reserved was not there. And it was not going to be there for three or four days. I could get no clear answers. The guy basically said that he cannot help me even though had a reservation. Huh... great So I called Avis, quick easy everything worked out I would recommend renting from Avis if you are ever in New Jerse.Avis

Pros:
So the staff member upon picking it up asked if I wanted to add easy pass which I said yes to and then it never got added since it didn't work at any of the tolls. Also, he never said anything about returning the car with a full tank. When we got the car it was less than a quarter full and we dropped it off with half a tank and then found out it was supposed to be full? What? Why wasn't this in our contract or told to us? The car kept dropping the blue tooth for our phone when we were trying to play musicCons:
The staff should have told us about how full the tank needed to be upon returning and they should have told us about the E-ZPass not being added when we thought we were using it. Not happy with the car or service10.0 Wonderful

Always a joy renting from this Alamo location, they are so quick to get you in/out and it's never busy. Had a few great experiences renting from Gio, it's definitely my location of choice in Jersey City.Cons:
Only negative is that the cars are parked on the 8th floor of a parking garage and it takes foreeeever to go in/out. But not the end of the world.2.0 Poor

Pick up of the car was a nightmare. Spent over an hour in line and took a total of two hours to complete the rental. Really messed up our day plans and even missed a reservation. They didn't honor the prices that were online and we had to pay more for the rental insurance in the office. The EZ Pass wasn't activated and they didn't bother to tell us. The whole experience was unpleasant.2.0 Poor
