I love the beds! Waiting 4+ Hours for my room, I ended up having my phone died and had to threaten to talk to a manager to get a room! Mine you I was running on 3 hours of sleep and it didn't start my birthday off to a good start!
Rooms service Prices hight not right size shits to buy
The staff are absolutely amazing. You can shoot the $#!t with anyone from the bartenders, to dealers, to concierge, to drivers, to house keeping. We stay here at least twice a year and never regret a thing!!!... Except getting wrapped up, chatting with the staff, till 6 am ;) The cost of the mini bar. But hey, it's Vegas!
Liked it all everyone was really nice and helpful N/A
This hotel stay is great. The rooms are nice and clean and the air quality in the casino is more tolerable than most packed casinos I have been in. The food at dunkin donuts and pink taco are great. The food at the cafe that is open 24hrs could definitely use some work, but the staff is awesome. The cab/uber drive to the strip and to Fremont is about a 10-15min ride. Its also great that there is a few other places in walking distance from the Hard Rock. I would definitely stay at the hard rock at my next stay in vegas.
room overlooked an industrial fan in the back of the hotel; bed wasn't comfortable; shower was slow to drain; not enough towels in the room; no ability to upgrade or move the room.
Collapsing mattress, smelly non-smoking room, construction noise before 7:00am in the morning
In overall the hotel was good. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff brings customer service all time and the hotel is beautiful and huge. Despite I knew the location was off the Strip I was taking into consideration the fact that the have shuttle bus. However, the buses are available from 10 am to 5 pm (too late and too early). So we had to spend money in uber caps and also the city bus. Next time I'll rather to consider another hotel on the strip.
Pool area was amazing... Pool was sand bottom and there were multiple of them. It was difficult at times to maneuver around the hotel as they had exits and entrances blocked which made us walk all the way around for seemingly no reason at all.
My husband and I were in town for a wedding. We got the room at a discounted price. We were both excited because we are both musicians. One night we actually walked around the casino looking at all of the different instruments and outfits that were on display. We aren't big drinkers or gamblers so we were only really downstairs to walk around and shop/eat. The room we had was nice and the bed was super comfy. Everything seemed to be up to date. I loved the theme of the deluxe room. When we pulled up to the hotel I noticed the airport right next to it, but not once did I hear a plane while in the hotel. I most definitely stay again at the price we got! We asked for a nonsmoking room and when we got up to our room it smelled of weed. Which was probably from a room nearby because each time we left and came back into our room it smelled like it more heavily. It must have been from the vents. The bathroom shower wasn't super clean. I didn't dare walk without shoes or slippers on. The lighting in the room wasn't very good. It was very dim lit which some people find romantic, but it just seemed ghetto to me. My husband and I aren't super high maintenance, and this stay was well worth it. I would happily stay again at the same price. If I had the option to stay at full price I probably wouldn't do it.
Nice Rooms and casinos, great food No ashtray in smoking room
Room upgrade Far from the strip
They lost our reservation then ran my card for the weekend rate at the hotel. We missed our dinner plans at Gordon Ramsay because we couldn't get into a room and shower on time. Hotel is in repair process looks very tacky for incoming guest. Front desk trainee did what she could to accommodate but she had no pull. Put a damper on the weekend for sure. Will never book here again
The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. I especially liked the flat screen tv's. Also, the full breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly.
I liked it all. Close to everything. Nothing I can really complain about. The only comment is that the decor needs updating.
The rooms were lovely to look at and delightful to sleep in.
Beds were great, it looked chic. Hotel has some good eating options. Bathroom is all glass with a drape to conceal yourself and no locks. For a suite it's quite small and about the same size as a regular room if you knocked down the wall for the bedroom. The toilet light needed to 'warm up' so it was terribly dark when you had to use it quickly. Shower head pressure was low and water never got acceptably hot. No refrigerator, no microwave, no where to eat really. For the cost off the strip that far I don't think it was worth it.
Bathroom was not particularly clean.
Good sized room and amenities Very poor check-in experience (took forever and room wasn't ready until 3.30pm)
Nice suite. Off strip. Suite was nice. Nice staff, poor service. Had to call 3 times to get room cleaned. One of the days they didn't clean. Much better service at all the other major Casinos In Vegas. Low cost is the only attribute. You pay for what you get.
Inexpensive, good bed, interesting decor, good service when requested Too far from the Strip, room too small, poor layout of two-queen suite ... glass wall between the bedroom and bathroom that had to be closed with an awkward curtain that blocked the door when used. A glass wall in a King suite makes sense but not with two queens. The room was missing items like enough glasses, and pens, do not disturb sign. Poor views from much of the hotel .. OK from the 10th floor up.
Restaurants and location. Service was slow and unresponsive.
very good value for a family - sleeps 4+ comfortably, good location
i could bring my pets, and the kitchen, and the quiet location
Fully stocked kitchen included all the pots pans and utensils to make mac n cheese at 6:30 in the morning when we got back from the strip! It's not far from where you want to be and its less than 1/2 the price that you would pay to stay on the strip. Front desk staff were very friendly, and they had a sense of humor too! I liked everything about the hotel.
Location location location!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Minutes or even a walk away from the Strip. Clean, safe neighborhood . Staff was friendly especially Jeannie. My reservation was canceled and she was able to get it back even though the hotel was booked. a plus is my 2 dogs where able to stay there and they loved it also. Really clean rooms, nice bathroom plenty of parking. However, I did not like the pool it was too small . Needs to be bigger with more design it was a complete eye soar to look at.
I liked the late check out, staff very friendly Cleaning staff didn't change anything until day of check out
Great service & accommodations. Excellent service
The kitchen and the lounge. Bathroom was huge. In the flight path of airport
everything! the friendly staff, the room space, the mini kitchen for people on a tight budget, the close parking to our room, the easy to access side doors for going in/out of the hotel, the comfortable bed, 3 blocks from strip, cleanliness of room and free dvd check out. rough towels
The hotel is equipped with a full kitchen and is decently priced as well. The rooms were clean. The corridors were hot.. The AC in the room switches off as soon as you leave the room, so its about 82 deg and humid once you re-enter. Its a long way to the strip and you have to drive
location I asked for a non-smoking room, but when I arrived it was not available. Thus, our room was smelling really bad. It was very unpleasant. Additionally, I couldn't control the air-conditioning temperature and we're really freezing inside our room. The wireless internet service, although available, was not fast.
The included breakfast was very nice. I like that it's not attached to a casino. Location is excellent to get to the Strip and other restaurants. Pretty small for 4 adults (my husband and me plus my retired parents). I asked for a suite with a separate room which is what I was lead to believe we would have. We had to ask for additional pillows. The sofa bed was filled with popcorn remnants.
The proximity to everything in Las Vegas, excellent breakfast, clean rooms and well equipped for electronics.
Me and my boyfriend along with another couple came to Las Vegas for the Rock and Roll marathon. We LOVED The Hyatt Place, not only did they have excellent customer service but we arrived into town earlier than expected...we called to see if we could check in early and they let us check in at 8:00am!!! Originally we were not able to check in until 3:00pm. Did I mention that their front desk person, Megan had EXCELLENT customer service? Both of the girls were extremely bubbly and friendly..giving us directions/letting us know of extra services and much more I just can't remember becasue after all I was in Vegas....the rooms were great and overall we got a great stay for the price. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO STAY OFF OF THE STRIP TO SAVE A LITTLE MONEY, STAY HERE. GREAT LOCATION, FREE SHUTTLE AND FREE BREAKFAST.
Spacious room, location on walking distance from the Strip, free internet No minibar, no alcoholic bevarges served in the bar after 11:00 pm - is this Las Vegas?? But one is gladly refered to a shop about 50 meters away that is open 24/7
close enough to the strip without the noise, free parking, free breakfast, free internet, 42" plasma tv, fridge and coffee maker $20 charge for late checkout (2pm), small bathroom
I have stayed at the Hyatt Place in Las Vegas twice now, and each time the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was what impressed me the most. They were always on point, and I felt that they really live the meaning of hospitality. Kudos to the staff all the way around. The room was comfortable, large, and had every amenity that you would expect (big tv/cable, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, safe, etc.). The breakfast offered in the morning was good, and their free wifi and shuttle made the stay super convenient. The Las Vegas heat was oppressive when I stayed, but the staff encouraged me to stay hydrated and to stay out of the sun as much as possible.
Having transportation from airline and to events. The staff was friendly and greeted you ever time you passed them there is nothing I can say was negative about this hotel
That it was nice for the price. And the TV was nice. The pool is to small and it was drity. The room did't have a DVD player..
Nice and relaxing, walking distance to the Hard Rock casino. We like the shuttle bus. The drivers are very nice and on time. Howard is very nice and friendly and easy to talk too.
Was welcomed by the host, which was very nice - there was not only a shuttle to/from the airport but to the Strip - to Planet Hollywood where I needed to go. Since the shuttle to Planet Hollywood was running every 4 hours, on the way back, I had to walk and it took over 45 minutes to do so.
the staff there was wonderful - plus i love the room layout with the additional seating area, kitchenette, and large dressing area.
Big comfortable rooms, airport shuttle, most staff are super helpful and friendly. Cheap buffet for breakfast lunch dinner, cheap wine at buffet. Only 20 min walk to strip. Dinner buffet seemed to use old food which didn't seem fresh.
Pool, casino, rooms
Easy to get to the airport. Said the airport shuttle was 24 hours but only runs from 4am until 9pm. Room had a fan running outside making it difficult to sleep. One poor elevator in the far corner of the hotel. I was charged 20 for a resort fee that was not mentioned at time of booking (Kayak's fault). No shuttle to the Strip as stated in their literature.
property is one star not 3 star as you classified.I asked Shannon for quiet room I was given 3366 noisy room in back of hotel. There is noise of buses, and you can hear next door neighbor. There was no ironing board,Iron and hair dryer in the room .The 3 star were probably were to small .
This place was about half the cost of all other adjacent hotels. Reasonably clean and the staff was more than friendly. There is a hidden "resort fee" i think it was 12 bucks a night. But apparently this is a vegas thing.
i did not like anything about the place. everything i disliked.
The staff was friendly, the restaurant was reasonable and good plus location was nice. The bathroom was dated and small, the slots were tight, musty smell and cigarette smells.
Smell of smoke outside rooms. Smelly sheets and rugs. Bad location, far from strip. Although I knew this prior to booking the rooms.
VERY clean room with a well made, spotless bed. Kayak's getaroom.com is TERRIBLE because they did not list a resort fee for this property which I booked exactly because it was the best value getaroom.com had as the other inexpensive hotels listed resort fees. I showed up and was charged a resort fee after losing two hours of (my stay which was only for 8 hours) getting the hotel to honor the booking I paid for. I am blogging and using social media to warn people to avoid this no name getaroom and use well known booking companies.
This is a decidedly budget / locals hotel, which is fine for what it is. Most of the rooms are fairly dated, with standard bathrooms with low water pressure and relatively thin walls. I am a light sleeper, granted, but there wasn't a night in the standard rooms where I wasn't awakened by the elevator dinging, people in the halls, or the loud music in the pool area, which starts up at 8 am! That said, the hotel staff are lovely, and did a good job taking care of me, including bumping me up into one of their nice, well appointed suites. The suites are updated, with a lovely shower, a super comfy bed, and none of the noises found in the standard rooms. Management could really market the hotel as an off-strip gem if they'd put a little more love into their rooms, and intvested in some soundproofing. The standard rooms are old, have thin walls, noisy ACs, and bad water pressure.
The staff was amazing no matter where I interacted with them at, especially Angel at the front desk. Was clean & nice pool with shallow ends for my little girls. Liked everything
inexpensive, where the locals go to gamble, nice pool, nice economical restaurants pillows very uncomfortable
Hotel was off the strip, so quiet. The staff was helpful and courteous. Hotel was a bit run down. One of the elevators wasn't working and the door to it was closed. Also, for security purposes, one can only use the elevator with a room key. That implied it's not in a nice area. I was asked for money by someone passing by in front of the hotel.
Everything from check in to check out... Clean and luxurious looking. Quiet Nothing to not like
My stay was Amazing.
The staff was awesome. The decor and feel of the whole hotel was lovely. The room was comfortable and roomy. Can't think of anything I didn't like.
Everythng about the plaev was GREAT :) The location the darkness not bright at all real dingy lighting
Staff was great, very helpful. Room was clean and practical, which I needed. Loved the underground parking garage - I felt my car was safe and knew it wasn't sitting in the 107-degree heat. No AC in the hallways? It was a sauna every time I walked out my door. Also, using the key to move the elevator was a nice safety feature, but got a little annoying, too.
Clean, nicely furnished and safe Location and there could be a little more variety at the breakfast
I loved everything about the hotel. Easy check in, clean, comfy bed, flat screen T.V. I didn't have a great view. Its a mile in half from the strip 7 miles from Fremont Experience. If you take a can is about $20. Not bad.
GOOD: bed comfort, guestroom size, bathroom and shower size, desk chair, modern room decor and lobby decor, converting from Baymont to Sheraton brand, 1 block from Silver Sevens Casino, behind Roys Hawaiian and Buca Di Beppo restaurants, great staff BAD: neighborhood at night (behind 2 nice restaurants, but surrounded by low rent apartments for many blocks on a pitch black street in a creepy neighborhood, that's why there's no outside guest parking or visitor parking, you have to have a room key to enter the caged-in underground parking), skimpy continental breakfast, clunky platform bed frames, free wifi almost useless and slow, no lighting in the shower stall, 1.5 miles from strip (30 minute walk)
Great price that included breakfast, secure parking and not far from the strip. Arrived late and noticed a few of the lights burned out over the vanity. During the morning house cleaning, bulbs were fixed and the additional towels supplied for the family. Would recommend and would stay again.
We actually liked the Hotel. We went here for black Friday shopping. The security of the parking is awesome. Everything was very comfortable with the exception of the bed frames. We didn't do breakfast because it ended early for us late starters. But overall great experience specially with a toddler. We did not like the bed frames at all! Oh gosh all three of us have bruises on our shins and my sweet girl bumped her head on them. That's mainly what I would change.
Clean, spacious, well equipped rooms. wifi was poor to non-existent Airplane noise
The toilet was blocked
Very nice for the price..my New hotel for Vegas!!
The rooms are dated but clean. The front desk was severely understaffed. Every time I went to the front office it was at least a half hour wait.
Exterior looks nice Airport noise was real loud, right under flight path of runway.
Room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and able to answer all my questions, on the phone and in person. Was nice to be able to have coffee, juice and friut before leaving for my meetings. A little plane noise, but did not interfere with my sleep.
The beds were great, staff was very very friendly, very clean room with all the appliances in literally brand new condition. Rooms have a mini kitchen with coffee maker, stove, sink, microwave, mini refrigerator, cabinets. Bathrooms with iron & board plus hair dryer. They handled an issue I had very quickly with a great attitude. We needed our bags held after we checked out & they kindly held them for roughly 8hrs with no problems (note they don't hold them over night). Right across the street from The Hard Rock Cafe which was awesome & only about a mile from the strip double awesome. Walking distance from 2 plazas with great choices of dining & CVS & Revolt Tattoo Shop. It was a great place to stay. The 2 queen bed rooms were a bit tight, but it didn't bother me, it was still comfortable. It was just 2 of us, if there's 4 it might be a little tighter. The bars of soap sucked. The airport issue wasn't as bad as others say. It's pretty loud during the day, but at night I didn't hear one plane. Trust me, my son was in on a Basketball Tournament & his sleep is crucial. I gambled & he slept like a baby both nights. The airport is not an issue.
Very clean and comfortable. Felt like home. Friendly staff.
Location is close to strip, A bit old. For a motel
Price A/C was just decent
Friendly staff and nice facilities No elevator
Friendly, helpful staff. Amenities were great. Clean rooms. Parts of the hotel did look a little shabby. peeling wallpaper and such.
Poor shuttle service. I was told a time (90 minute wait) than was told I would need to.wait another 30 minutes.
Cleanliness, hospitality, Shuttle driver Jacque, and the shuttle service. Pretty and comfortable room. Nothing.
The shuttle driver was kind. The elevator was broken so we took the outdoor stairs to get to our room which were not covered so we got wet in the rain. The small eating area was packed with people and the food was mediocre. The coffee was not good and they offered only small cheap styrofoam cups so difficult to take with you.
Loved the fitness center and pool/hottub. Hottub especially was really nice after a day of walking the strip. Did not like the Breakfast It had no meat it was mostly carbs. Carbs bad... Really hated the kids running up and down the halls in the middle of the night and the dogs barking off and on all night. The shuttle to the strip was nearly useless as you had to wait a very long time. moor than 30 minutes.
During our stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites Las Vegas, it was not enjoyable at all. We were able to hear everyone talking through the walls, including a couple having sex! I felt very disgusted and the room itself was disgusting! Was not vacuumed either! Will never stay here again! I guess you get what you pay for.
Loved the comfy bed, and our single King room had an enormous bathtub! Big enough for 2. Also liked the location, very close to the Strip. All the entrances to the hotel rooms/pool had keyed entries, but several of them were either broken or just left unlocked.
Location not too far from strip, staff friendly, good proximity to restaurants and shopping. Will stay here again A little pricey, as others have stated elevator is broken
Dirty walls, damaged doors, fire alarm went off twice due to air duct cleaning. Friendly, helpful staff. Dirty walls, damaged doors, fire alarm went off twice due to air duct cleaning. Friendly, helpful staff
Complimentary breakfast. Outdated rooms, warm hallways, missed my room service two days in a row, crappy location, unhelpful staff, crappy parking, shitty location.
