Your cleaning staff is unsurpassed. I hope they are compensated as they are the behind the scenes success to the beauty of the resort.. When I went to check out there where all sorts of extra fees. I made no room charges. I called the front desk and they removed them, I asked for an emailed copy and they sent two. One for the resort fee's which is so silly if you pay for a resort yet can't use the refrigerator, the other email was over 650.00! I went to the desk and they said it was an error? A lot of unnecessary anxiety for an error!
The hotel is beautiful and in a good location. For the money you are paying you don't get much value. Also, I expect that when I am paying this sort of price per night that when I walk the hallways to get to my room I don't have to see everyone's room service tables and left over food. I also didn't like the fact that they want to charge you 35 USD/night to rent a refrigerator. Some things should be included in the price.
Variety of restaurants to choose from and awesome pool area The fact that hotel guests are charged for parking and the incredibly long walk from the parking garage to the hotel room.
The rooms are too old
Rooms were amazing The music from the night clubs in the area went until 3 am
Location and views The room was tired and had non-functioning equipment. TV didn't work, curtains didn't open or work and the room control unit was broken. Took almost two hours, employees banging on the door, phone ringing off the hook to get the thing fixed. I had a work meeting in the morning and this was horrible.
The hotel was very nice with great staff. The location on the strip is great! Food was outstanding in all of the hotel eateries. Very easy access to all of Vegas either walking the strip, seeing the Bellagio fountain show across the road, or catching a taxi to see more of Vegas. Had prepaid for our room we thought and then was stuck with an unexpected resort fee upon arrival. Prices for everything from restaurants, drinks, to gift shop items are outrageous.
Location The room we got was "pet friendly" which you don't want when you don't have a pet. The room smelled like wet dog & was run down. No view. I wondered how well the carpet was cleaned too...
The casino was in an awesome location. I enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel lobby casino The room was nice, clean but tired. Bed and pillows needed updating. No view at all. Opened drapes, there was a brick wall immediately in front. Could. Or see daylight.
They had my booking dates incorrect. I was scheduled to stay there from june 15-20th. When i got there they told me i had booked it for july. I was able to find the itenerary and show them to correct dates. I also paid 200.00 for what they said was a deposit, and would get back as long as there was no damage to the room. But when i checked out. They said it was hotel fees and i would not get the money back. Very misleading
Rooms are the best in Las Vegas!! And I can stay within the hotel for everything. I'll definitely be back.
Reception staff always need yo refer to manager and didnt know how to handle things. Although i had a late checkout they keep me waiting for over 30min at reception to find out how it works.
We enjoyed ourselves. We first originally had a room on the 39th floor when we were supposed to had one Higher. The room on the 39th floor could use some maintenance as far as getting the sinks done. Also Vdara should use more time to do a complete cleaning instead of turning the room over and focusing more on selling out the rooms. The next day we were moved to the 55th floor and the wrong was nice. The View was excellent. The only thing I didn't like was we were given this room as part of a comp and it seemed as though they were pushing to get us out the room on the third day when the desk person gave us the wrong because he didn't have a room available on the first day. As with this room also I wish Vdara was spend more time working on doing complete cleaning as far as carpets washing walls windows and all major stuff you do in the cleaning. Other than that the room and the views were excellent See comments above. But as noted Vdara should work on shutting down rooms and doing major updates and major cleanings to make the guest experience more better. Also the walk from your room to the strip can be long but that's no big deal and I would go back. As with all Las Vegas hotel the resort fee is ridiculous if you don't use any of the stuff related to it. You should be given the chance to be charged for what you use
Very few amenities at this hotel. Plumbing kept getting backed up. Shower head came loose. The pool area is drab and quite boring. Very thin walls. Just a very BORING hotel over all.
The location was great. The wait time to use the elevators was horrible. A pipe burst and there was water everywhere. It killed about 3 hours of our day in wait times.
Location Stains everywhere in room and paper thin walls
Size of hotel for Vegas strip was a pleasant change. Great location in the center of the strip. Clean, new, fabulous pool, but closed by 5:00 pm. After a long hot day on the road, a dip would be nice. Nothing for free in Vegas any more. Charged for Valet parking, which has always been free, and the obnoxious "$40 resort fee" whether you use the amenities or not is annoying. Giada's restaurant was pleasant, but very expensive for ordinary food. Hostess was snotty and snooty. Her little black dress must have been a little too tight in the wrong places.
The hotel management was unresponsive. I travel extensively for business and would never recommend this hotel.
Everything was perfect
None Construction work
Has class and sophistication. The staff is wonderful And the location is perfect. Great food and service.
Staff really understood customer service. Hotel was cold - food expensive and medicore at best.
Beautiful rooms, quiet location. Not crowded. Somewhat far from strip (15 min walk)
I chose the Signature because it had a charging station for the Tesla. I called to confirm they had it by phone. When we arrived I asked them to charge car for trip to La in the morning. They assured us they would. The next morning they bring up the car with 11 miles of charge. So we were delayed by about 2 hours and we had planned the trip to be in LA for a family event coming back early especially. I said "it's not been charged" Mario (actual name) says - "it wasn't me" I said but we have plans. "Nothing I can do" and walks away. I ask for his manager. He comes - frankly I forget his name - but he's the one actually responsible for setting the tone - and says - sorry - but nothing I can do." But our plans are ruined say I. We don't have a contract that we have to charge your car. Says he. "There was an implicit and verbal contract in your valets agreement to charge the car as well as the advertising of the availability of the supercharger and subsequently the valet saying he would charge the car." The utter disregard for any responsibility or care for a family of 5 traveling thru Nevada is unacceptable.
