The car had a problem with the battery

Car exterior was filthy and had only 1/8 tank of fuel. Return was confusing. When I dropped off the car exactly where it was picked up, I was told to move it up to an alternate location, less than 50’ away, under threat of being charged for abandonment.

Cons:

Waited in line for 45 minutes only to have a woman yell out to everyone in line that they were out of cars and would not be honoring reservations made less than 2 days in advance. Ended up having to take an Uber 2 hours away for much more money. I don’t recommend hertz at all

Friendly staff, but that’s it.

Cons:

Car died in the middle of the street in Midtown. Had to wait three hours for a tow truck that was promised in 90 minutes, in the freezing rain.

Supplier choice

I booked a car, was promised a good price, but when I arrived they said I can only have an EV (electrical vehicle) for this price. I said I booked a Gas car. They said, that if I want a Gas car I have to pay another $35. plus tax. I was VERY DISAPPIONTED. Also, the person at Dollar was very nasty towards me.
