The front desk staff was not friendly or accommodating at all. It’s a beautiful hotel in a great location but I was completely turned off by the front desk staff each time I needed to speak to them. I am a Hilton honors member and I love Embassy Suits but if I have to stay in Midtown again, it will likely not be at this hotel.

Pros (+) Nothing at the time. They are undergoing extensive renovations so when they are done it should be better.
Cons (-) After the first night we went down to breakfast early. They came in and made up our beds around 8. We hadn’t even moved our stuff for the cleaning staff because we hadn’t even gotten completely ready yet. So they only made one bed. We asked them to come back and do the room after we showered and left for the day because we knew we would need new towels etc. for the next day. The second night, our ...
