Cons: double taxation. Got to the counter and agent was in the restroom for about 30 minutes and the shuttle driver had to go and remind her again about a customer waiting at the counter. She finally comes out of the restroom and asked for my driver's license and credit card and I handed them over to her. I asked her how much is going to my card and she tells me it be additional taxes added. I told her that when I made this reservation online with KAYAK, and she Payless Agent tells me that it does not matter and that I still had to pay additional taxes at the counter. I then told her to cancel the seservation and I left.

Pros: I liked the price that I got this car for and the car was comfortable
Cons: The car smelled like smoke which was very annoying at first, the maintenance light came on while we had it and it was impossible to get a hold of an agent at the office where we got the car from, returning the car wasn't as easy as just dropping it off, I had to go in the airport to get my final bill which was not convenient and I accidentally left my glasses in the car and was not able to get them back and it was again almost impossible to get a hold of anyone. In summary, bad customer service.

Pros: The car rental was fine. The price was excellent. The original car developed an engine noise that required me to switch it with another auto in Austin; in this trouble, Payless was excellent and the switch was carried with minimal fuss.
Cons: Nothing in particular.

Cons: Had a reservation, Payless didn't have any cars. Didn't find out until I took shuttle all the way from Terminal to the Payless station. Huge waste of time and very frustrating. Terrible customer service.
