Great rates! Return process at Iah ridiculous
Pros: Rental was great, it was difficult to refuel, would not take gas but dial read 1/2 full. Upon return each person from garage to terminal kept sending me to another person for a credit, then in the end , the last person in the chain could not do it, and manager was not there. Very poor customer service,

Cons: I waited in line for a long time to get the car, and then when I checked in to leave the parking lot, the lady at that gate was very rude.

Pros: The process was relatively speedy. The car was clean. Drop-off was quick and easy. The sales agent at the desk as well as the rental car return people were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The sales agent's [as well as Alamo's website's] insistence that I purchase insurance for the vehicle was a bit irritating. Many credit-card holders, including myself, are automatically covered through their credit card company for rental car coverage and purchasing additional coverage from the rental car company can often negate the credit card company's coverage. For this reason I felt Alamo's insistence on further insurance to be, in a way, predatory. Past that, the sales agent was extremely helpful. Points to her. Additionally, the young man operating the rental car pick-up area ignored me for five minutes before indicating out of the corner of his mouth that I should take whatever car I want. Well, okay then!

Pros: Staff was great, friendly and helpful
Cons: Vehicle let in a lot of road noise, seats were manual adjust, and cruise control was not easy to maneuver.

Pros: The truck and price were fine.
Cons: The pick up location is not driver friendly. There is only offsite parking and you have to walk from a dirt parking lot.

Cons: not well organized - weren't sure which cars were available, and there were only a very few cars at all to choose from - actually only 1 or 2 ! price was beyond ridiculous - $800 for a 3 day rental (admittedly one way) seems absurd.

Pros: I have know complaints concerning the customer service. The gentlemen was courteous, fast, and friendly.
Cons: This Alamo rental makes it very difficult to pick up a vehicle. We had to call because there is no where to park. All the signs around the building says no parking, tow away zone. As I called to ask where do we park to come in and sign the papers work. I was told to find and pay for airport parking and then ride the bus shuttle over. Definitely inconvenient and more expensive than it has to be.

Cons: The car rental location at Hobby Airport Houston was closed and I had to wait over an hour to return the car! The Alamo customer representative gave horrible information telling me to just leave the car and they will come wherever it is and pick it up. I needed to catch a flight and was a horrible experience!

Pros: Last time I booked convertible with Almo and it was great, Car was ready for me outside reception hall, kind Agent,
Cons: The Almo ervice agent at the counter was not kind/ tried to scared me with high value of cars on declining of insurance and that must as , it's a state law and this and that, and for the first day that effected me and stayed on mind, I didn't feel comfortable with his way of selling me insurance , and asking if I want a smaller SUV instead of Ford F-150 , !!!!

We werent aware that we had to have a credit card
Pros: I liked that we were able to get such a great deal.
Cons: We weren't aware of all of the stipulations. Very difficult process and very long wait times.

Pros: The drop off was quick. The car rode smoothly.
Cons: The pickup took way too long as there was one party ahead of me. Finally 10 minutes later a guy from National came over and said he would help me. Not only was the car smokey, but there were French fries on the floor. They didn't even offer a discount.

Ruined my trip
Cons: I was traveling with my license from the DMV on paper. I lost my license and it was my replacement from the DMV until the hard version arrives in the mail in up to three weeks. I contacted Alamo in Florence, SC with this information ahead of time to ensure I did not have trouble with my rental.. To be clear I rented a car in SC and drove it to Atlanta. I flew to Houston from Atlanta and went to pick up another Alamo rental in Houston. However, the rental office in Houston refused to rent me the car. Even though I told them I had proof of renting the car in SC and that the license was valid and states all requires license information with my name and I had a valid passport on hand to validate my photo. Not only did they refuse but they laughed at me as if I was an idiot and didn't even take the time to contact someone above them to verify the procedure. They were completely rude and I will never use Alamo again. The situation completely ruin e this part of my trip as I was driving my grandmother to stay with my uncle and then driving myself to another airport to catch a flight home. My flight there was delayed so we were already late and didn't have time to try and find another rental alternative. Instead I had to call my grandma and uber by herself to go to my uncles and I had to call myself an uber to make it to the other airport. Was such a nightmare!
