This was to be used for my Dad's full honors funeral service at Arlington Cemetery on Oct. 1. I had gone through Alaska Airline check in, then to TSA screening where the crime took place."

We had to wait for our luggage and run to the security check point which took a good 45 min to get through. We barely made our connecting flight. Need more than an hour and twenty min for connecting flights. We should have had a min of two hours to get through customs, collect our luggage and then walk to the terminal and go through security and then walk to our gait."

Making us run around the airport with no answers and nobody wanting to check the conveyer belt. Then they said if they found it they would let me know. They found the bag and they said by 6:30. Well, 6:30 passed and they had my bag but they couldn't tell me when it would be delivered and they use a third party company who they didn't have a contact number for or any answer as to when it would be delivered (I needed several things for work so it was a rush). Lastly, the lady I spoke to on the phone said it was my fault that I would not be there to receive the bag the following day as they did what they are supposed to. I was really surprised with how bad this customer service was as a whole. No communication and just nasty."

There was a problem getting on, they allowed premium members to board but when I got to the plane, I was scolded by the cleaning crew lady (maybe the Mgr) that they were not ready and that she had informed 'them' of that and that no one is allowed to board while they are cleaning."

I didn't like having to pay $2400 for a ticket when you dropped the price after the Paris incident & I found the same ticket would have cost me only $869. I should be reimbursed the difference. I also don't understand why we had to wait till 10:15 to sit inside the gate area. Directions for boarding should have been clearer."

Cons: "Sun Country -- please keep those nasty cheeseburger smells off the plane. If you're going to sell a hot snack, please pick something that won't stink up the plane. The free smell does NOT encourage others to purchase it !"

Pros: "Can't really complain re: a direct flight for less than other airlines charge for a flight with layovers. Large, comfortable plane with good food. $25 for an exit row seat was worthwhile as I had 4 rows(!) to myself. Flight attendants were great."
Cons: "No in-flight entertainment. When I chose my seat online, I was made to believe it was basically a full flight (only ~3 seats were available and they were all middle seats) so I spent $25 on an exit row seat. Once we boarded, it became apparent that there were a TON of open seats and I would have been able to get an aisle. Kind of sketchy for them to misrepresent the seating like that."
Pros: "I've been flying sun country for years. They are never perfect, but their crews work hard and do a good job. Their biggest problems are big money stuff, better gates and better planes. But if that drives up prices, forget it."
Cons: "Boarding process needs fewer rounds of pre-boarding. Not because it didn't make sense but because people are ridiculous these days and just crowd around the jetway. It becomes awkward."
Pros: "Most aspects of the experience were without flaw for mishap. The entire flight was comfortable. Boarding was easy and we were not nickled and dimed throughout the trip. The luggage accommodations were reasonable and transparent."
Cons: "The flight was delayed almost an hour. Baggage service at JFK was not good."
Pros: "On time. Great staff. Leaves from a nice smaller airport."
Cons: "Was disappointed that when checking in online - we were forced to have to pay an additional cost for each seat on the departing and return flight."
Cons: "The flight could have taken off, storms in NYC yes, but other airlines flights were able to avoid and get in the landing queue much easier, without boarding on and off a hot plane.... likely not go with Sun Country again...."

Cons: "I arrived to the airport extra early, chose a window seat purposely because I'm a very nervous flyer and need to see what's surrounding me. When I went to board the plane, my ticket wouldn't scan. So I had to bring it back to the desk and the lady changed my seat without saying a word. I asked why and she said, unpleasantly, there was a mistake made by checkin obviously. Not even an I'm sorry. And not only was my seat changed, it was changed to the last row of the plane (literally row 26, the absolute last row) and the middle seat. There was no entertainment offered until way into the flight, mind you it's only a two hour flight. The flight crew had no control over the pass angers and were yelling at them almost the entire flight."
Pros: "Ample leg room, prompt boarding and attentive flight attendants"
Cons: "Couldn't check in online and waited on hold for 45 minutes only to be told that I needed to go early to the airport to check in. My flights were also both significantly delayed and the airport staff didn't give updates."
Cons: "Let me start by saying I understand that airlines dont have it easy. Thinning margins, regulations, and insane competition. Sun country delayed their flight (claiming weather, despite no reports) and I missed my connecting flight. Prior to the flight, I told the agent that I would miss my connection and that I should fly later. But they insisted they would hold the connecting plane. I and a dozen passengers were rudely told that we were on the morning flight, and it's up to us what to do over night. Any major airlines would have covered the hotel, and the agents would have actually empathized with passengers. Sun Country is not a quality airlines."
Cons: "I tried throughout the day to check in for the flight and pre-pay for a checked bag because it was cheaper to pre-pay on-line. Something was wrong with the Sun Country website, and so I wasn't able to do it. Naturally, they charged me the higher price for the checked bag because I was paying at the terminal. I told them that I had been trying all day to pay on-line, but they said that they could do nothing about it."

Cons: "American Airlines texted me at 6 AM saying that my 10 AM flight was cancelled and I had been rebooked for a flight that DEPARTED at 7:35 AM. I was and am livid. Thank goodness everyone at the airport did an incredible job and I made the flight, but what a terrible way to start the trip to Tahiti. I will be using American as a last and final option from now on. Changing flights last minute like that, especially when making an international connection, is hateful. Never again."

Pros: "The only reason I was able to make this flight was that it, too, was delayed. We received ZERO notification - as we were running from one plane to another from Concourse A to B - that the Phoenix-LA flight was delayed. I mean how difficult is that to do?"

She could have easily said that she will see what can be done. No need to be that rude for a reputable airline staff."
