Reserved an economy car but they stated none were available and tried to give me an electric vehicle despite there being extremely limited charging stations on Hilton Head and Savannah (I actually didn’t see a single one the whole trip). The good: Quick and easy pickup, nice car, friendly people. The not-so-good: Car rental rates have rocketed up (I know, I know, supply and demand) so that car rent for a week far exceeds the cost of round trip airfare. That said, I got the best price through Kayak.Reviewed Aug 29 2022

Clerk at Drop Off point in Charleston was extremely rude. He wanted to charge us for an upgrade. We were willing to pay from the car we reserved, if that vehicle was not available, that is not our fault. We only paid what we should have, but he ruined the experience for us. Not transparent about the stipulations of the rental ahead of time. We were told two days before that a car seat could not be promised on the day of the rental even though I called a month before to add the car seat to the reservation. Truly unacceptable as that’s a pretty vital piece of information to know prior to traveling so as not to be stranded at an airport with a toddler.Reviewed Aug 14 2022
