Hertz did not honor my reservation. When I was on the way to the rental facility they called and said they didn’t have any cars available. When I got there they had no alternatives, offered no help, so I was stuck with no car. I will never rent from Hertz again and would discourage anyone from using them. Use Budget or Avis or Enterprise or anyone else.

Nothing. I had a flight delay, and by the time I arrived at their office, they were closed...FOR THE WEEKEND. When I tried to call another Hertz in Dallas all I got was the same recording telling me to use the website. The Hertz helpline was also closed ALL WEEKEND. I emailed them today, but since I made the reservation through a third party, I'm sure I just donated $250.

I payed for a SUV car. Not only I waited for my car around an hour to arrive but only they did not have the suv available and I had to go with an economy car which obviously cost less.
The car was smoked in and pretty dirty overall. I ended up using a bunch of disinfecting cloths to clean the car.

If I was informed of business hours prior to taking the vehicle. I missed my flight and had to purchase 5 new tickets for my family. I drove 30 mins one to return the car only to find out the location was closed for the day. I drove 30 mins back to drop the car off at the airport, which was really hard to do. After that I had to take the shuttle to the airport only to find out my flight had just finished boarding. There I had to purchase new tickets for my family.
