Cons: I ended up at the other enterprise location in la and had to switch my reservation over and it cost me over a hundred dollars more! as a tourist and your first time renting a car all I knew was enterprise so it was extremely diffucult and inconvenient . so much for getting a good deal on a rental car.

Cons: When we arrived at the LA airport, they made us gow downtown LA to pick up car. Car was filthy, and out of gas. When we wanted to return it at the airport, we were charged a lot more. Isn't this the same company?And why weren't we warned or told about how inconvenient this was going to be? It was a nightmare and I will NEVER use Enterprise again.

Watch from where you rent
Pros: Wrong address they won't pick you up. No apology, no nothing. I had to pay 4 times more to get a last minute rental from someone else who would pick me up. WILL NEVER GO TO ENTERPRISE AGAIN!!!!!!!

Great service and staff!
Pros: I went to the wrong office- the airport instead of downtown, but the staff at the airport branch were more than accommodating. I got a great car at the same rate, and I just can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff were!

Long wait and shuffling between offices.
Cons: It is very difficult to locate the office since it is located inside the garage/student center and can't be accessed from the street and you have to walk around asking everyone for directions and nobody knows where it is.
They didn't have the car and we had to go to another office, it would have been better to announce upfront that that office doesn't actually have cars and so I could have gone straight to the office with cars.
The wait time was pretty long, again, no cars and they were moving them around from one office to another. It seems that having a reservation doesn't make a difference, they just try to find you a car anyways from other offices, they don't hold cars on the lot.

Booked for LAX...wasn't at LAX
Pros: That I could drop it off at LAX even though I had to pick it up at USC because of a booking error
Cons: My rental car query was for LAX...kayak put forward the cheapest rental and it was on the USC campus and I didn't notice it. Took us 45 mins to get farther from our destination to pick up a dirty car. Check upholstery front and back in this car. the back was the worst and we were embarrassed to offer friends a ride and ask them to sit on the back seats

Cons: I had no idea the car rental establishment was not at LAX!!! I needed to take an Uber after going to the Enterprise near the airport. To make matters worse the Enterprise pick up was scheduled at an extremely small office on the USC campus. The Uber driver could not find it for the longest time and then the person that runs this office was out for the day so I needed another Uber to get to an alternate office. The whole situation was ridiculous.

Cons: Car wasn't there when we arrived but we got a free upgrade!
Cons: We had to wait 1 hour to even get to a desk attendant to get our car. They had everyone take a number.

Pros: Nothing I rented a car out of LAX but was given a reservation at a budget in the city. Therefore the rate was double what I was confirmed for. If you put in an airport in your search bar you should only be given airport reservations.

They took my info...offered an upgrade to SUV at no cost--which turned out to be a hatchback car basically. No big deal but the lady made me wait 15 min while others got cars? Then I go back to the window and she starts doing the contract and asks about insurance. I ask what that would do to the final rate and THEN she tells me I'm at the wrong location?? How did she take all my info, upgrade me, make me wait, go through the contract, and THEN just figure this out? At any rate, she moved the res to her location and lowered the rate to what I reserved but it was an extra hassle after a 6 hour flight that I didn't really need or understand. File it under 1st world problems.
Cons: Kayak sent my reservation for a car to an Avis that was nowhere near the airport. I searched for a car using airport code LAX and it sent my reservation to an Avis that was 15 miles away from the airport. Of course I didn't check the address of the reservation, because why would they send it to an Avis that was not at the airport? I ended up having to Uber a ride from the airport Avis to the Avis practically in downtown LA which cost me another $25. Of course, I needed to drop the car off at the airport location when I was done with it, and that cost me another $50 for a "transfer fee". So basically, my reservation was supposed to be a $75 2 day rental and it end up costing me double that in fee's and Uber rides. Kayak FAIL. I'll not be using it again for a car rental.

Wrong Location, Poor Customer Service
Pros: the car was new, clean and worked well for us. the rental agent allowed us to return the car to LAX without charge when I explained how we had thought this location was at LAX but had rented through Kayak. She said there had been several other customers who had a similar problem
Cons: When I finally arrived at this location, (I had thought my rental was at LAX, and had to take a cab to this location instead, at a cost of $60) there was no one there, and the doors were locked. The only information on the door indicated that they are open until 2pm. It was 12:30. I called Avis, and they were unable to tell me anything more. They offered to send me to yet another location instead, but when I called that location, they had no car rentals available.
Finally an agent returned and unlocked the doors. She did not greet me and the two other customers who had arrived while we waited. When I got up to the counter I started explaining to her what had happened, and she just shrugged and told me she had been on her lunch break. Then she took a call and dealt with that instead of taking care of me. She finally got us taken care of and did give me a credit to return the car at LAX, but never apologized or indicated she was sorry for all I had gone through to get this rental car. How hard is it to hang a sign on the door to tell frustrated travelers that you will be back? A locked door just indicates that you are closed. Personally, I'll never use AVIS again.

Pros: Joe at East LA location was very helpful. Confusing which Avis was pickup. Joe changed the drop off for convenience.
Cons: It'd would've been nice if the location was described off airport. We had to take a taxi to the location and the cabby took us to the wrong one. It was a debacle.
