Hertz would not let me rent the car with my Philippine driver's license because I did not have my passport with me. I have rented cars with them on numerous occasions using that license and not once has an agent asked me for a passport. I am currently disputing the amount that QEEQ is withholding from me in the amount of $130 for not renting the car.Reviewed Nov 19 2025

The Hertz personnel found us at the airport, concluded the paperwork and directed us to a driver who drove us to the point to pick up the car. We added an additional day to our contract a few days later with no issues. Car was fine and was fine for our needs.Reviewed Nov 18 2025

Horrendous customer service. Made flight and car rental arrangements to Sarasota for a family member’s critical medical emergency. Changed to an earlier flight that put me in Fort Myers due to poor medical prognosis. Tried two national contact #s that went directly to automated/AI responses stating rental reservation could not be changed. Desk agent in Fort Meyers made us wait in line for 15 mins only to tell us that there were no cars available and we could not switch our reservation anyways. This was my first and last time with Hertz, bad customer service. I had booked my Car and paid 2 weeks before and when I went to get the Car they said Car is not available. Also, this was all when they made us wait for 30 minutes.Reviewed Nov 8 2025

Tried to call repeatedly and online, needed to pick up car earlier than the 9:00pm. Tried numerous times to get through, didn’t happen. Went in to pick up 15 minutes before to pick it up and the counter was closed. The next morning at 8:00 went in. The F150 reserved had been rented- not available- only had a big dodge 250. I had requested a vehicle with good suspension, because my spine is fused too to bottom. We have a dodge 250, that’s why I was renting a smooth ride. Didn’t happen. I’m disappointed and will go back to enterprise. Poor customer service and hours are not always accurate 👎Reviewed Nov 6 2025

I'm still waiting on my refund. I picked the car up at 10:15 am on 10/30. I returned the car at 1:30ish same day. I only drove it less than 2 miles. I purchased a car 1 block east of the rental place and returned it the same day. I spoke with someone at Expefia and they are working on this.Reviewed Nov 5 2025
