Pros: The car ran very well. Fuel economy was good on this Nissan Sentra.
Cons: Since my rental was 39.95 a day, I thought a total of $251 for 4 days was high.

Pros: The Hertz staff were wonderful and the car was exactly what I ordered! Got it quick, fast, in a hurry and returned it the same! Excellent!

Pros: Ease of pick up and delivery
Cons: Price kept changing ...... flat tire. Half way through one week Rental, replaced tire, due to danger of running on spare at my expense. I hope Hertz refunds the $78 and change for the extra expense.

Pros: I loved the fact I was driven to the airport rather than having to take the shuttle. Not a far drive and I did not have to handle my bags.

Pros: Checking in was easy and efficient!
Cons: Long line to return the car. If I was tight on time for my flight this long line would have been nerve-wracking!

Pros: Was quick and easy rental process both picking up and dropping off. Rate was good. Car was clean and in good working condition. No complaints.

Cons: I payed $55 plus tax on Kayak for this rental. That was the price I was quoted and should have been the end of it, but when I arrived at the airport, they said there had been a computer error. They charged me an additional $18 plus tax. Granted, it wasn't that much more, but I should not have had to pay twice. I will not use Kayak again, as this has happened before with a flight as well.

Check-in was a pain
Pros: I had a 6:30 AM flight and the return place opened at 5:00 AM. The transit bus wouldn't leave for the terminal for a while, risking that I might miss my flight. An employee drove me to the terminal. That was either a great service, or a great employee.
Cons: Check-in took a long time. Then, the car I was told to use wasn't in it's spot and the employees on the lot were absolutely no help. I had to wait in a line for a long time again to get reassigned to another vehicle. At least they upgraded the car, but the time it took was really frustrating. I also didn't appreciate them trying to up-sell me. I had reserved the vehicle I wanted. The car had duct-tape glue on three of the doors where they had been taped shut for some reason. Very unattractive. The fuel was not full, even though the papers said it was.

Pros: When I showed up to the Kansas City airport location, I was apparently supposed to get a car from the downtown location. Fortunately they accommodated me and it all worked out.
Cons: I thought the price was a bit high.

Dirty, Smoke Smell Makes Customer Exchange Cars
Pros: I brought back the dirty and smoke-smelly car and they happily exchanged it for a clean one.
Cons: The first car was very dirty and really stank like smoke. I didn't have time to go back to exchange until a few days later.

Not from Airport!? What were yo trying to pull her
Cons: Apparently, I, a person not familiar with the area was duped into paying for a rental that was downtown in KC. How would I have gotten downtown from the airport? Why wouldn't I have used that transportation for my needs? What good is a non-airport rental? I will not use you again.

They booked at the pickup location which messed up
Cons: I searched for car rental at MCI airport (Kansas City), and from the results, I choose Hertz and pre-paid. At the airport Hertz pickup location I found that the pickup location they had in the reservation was downtown. I don't know how that happened. They said that if I had to cancel the existing reservation and take the one at the airport, then I have to pay 3 TIMES the amount of my existing reservation. It was a mess. Finally, I had to cancel that reservation and had to go for another car rental agency on the spot. Double-check the reservation for the pickup location and NEVER pre-pay (if you don't prepay, they will not charge if you don't pickup).

Great staff. Inaccurate website info
Pros: The staff was wonderful: friendly, funny, helpful, efficient, and just all around terrific.
Cons: The website did not accurately state the hours of the rental facility.

No Wiper Fluid
Pros: Was expecting Jeep for this snowing day and got Rav4. Not happy and no solution offered. Hertz said it was comparable. I disagree.
Cons: It was a icy/snowy day and the car didn't have any wiper fluid. Dangerous. I used water bottle to spray while in moving Car.

Cons: the problem of Kayak arranging my rental car pickup for downtown Kansas City, even tho I remember indicating that I was flying into the airport and would pick up my car at the airport. Bottom line: good on Hertz, not so good on Kayak.

Pros: Everything went smoothly with this rental. The shuttle ride from the airport required no waiting and was brief. When picking up the car I was not subjected to great efforts to "up-sell" anything, and the agent was friendly and efficient. The car was fine, and the drop-off also was quick and efficient.

Pros: The shuttle service and the employees that I worked with at the desk were excellent.

Fixed problem quickly and to my satisfaction.
Pros: Hertz immediately apologized, assigned a new car and upgraded me to next bigger size vehicle. It was fine.
Cons: The car that was parked in my assigned space was parked there in error. When I drove out of the lot, the attendant told me I had to go back in to the rental desk to get it straightened out. That was a pain, I was on my way and then had to take my suitcase and everything back in and get a different car assigned.

Not as nice as enterprise
Pros: Decent rate. Got a complimentery gps unit on second car.
Cons: First car was smoked in. Second car had a misadjusted headlight and an inop fog light. Drop off location closed early, forcing us to keep car overnight instead of dropping off when we wanted to. Couldn't get anyone on the phone until I tried roadside emergency number.

One way rental
Pros: Easy checkout. Customer service was very good. Good price for a one way rental. Actually, the only reasonable rate I could find.
