Never fly Philippines Airlines. NEVER
Cons: Philippine Airlines airport was convoluted, no signage, no screens, horrible.
Checked-in online to speed things up, but the ladies at the "Online check-in counter" was not there, and when they turned up, there were in training.
Then the boarding gates/lounge. None of the restaurants accepted credit or debit cards (?). It's an international airport!?! Unbelievable.
Once boarded, realised none of the seats had screens or any onboard entertainment unless you had downloaded the myPal app. It would have been handy if the check-in staff informed us of this.
Then there were flight delays, with no explanation. No screens with any live updates. Nothing. Worst terminal on planet earth!
Now the plane. It must be a plane bought from another airline who completed their 30 year lease of the aircraft, because it looked like from the 1980's or older. Falling apart, uncomfortable, toilets not working, dirty, run down.
The air-crew were lazy and rude and were inconsistent. One would say they ran out of something, then the person next to me would ask another crew, and received what they requested (food, assistance, pens, etc). Horrible.
The pilots rarely informed us of the flight updates. Just utterly horrible! I cannot believe I have to fly with them on my return leg back home :(
