-Excellent gym - relaxing pool area with restaurant - bed was comfortable and the linen was crisp and clean - Room was large and nice but felt dated - At checkin, the clerk attempted to up-sell the breakfast and Internet package for $100 per night. Internet should be included in the price I paid, especially as I chose this hotel based on that.
View from our room Several problems with facilities in our room - running toilet, bar frig did not work (both fixed before departure) in room safe broken and not fixed before departure. Club room not ready when we arrived, this was OK as we arrived early but we were only given access to standard hospitality room and not club lounge facilities.
Been staying here for years - clean, convenient, comfortable Always too expensive - hotels in Singapore are too expensive
The attentiveness of the staff and the welcome one receives on arrival.
The hotel is ideally located for both shopping and sightseeing and is easy to reach from Changi airport using the MRT link. The hotel was over priced and the exeuctive lounge didn't open for breakfast particularly early.
Bfast at Prego The room was a bit damp and floor lamp is switching on/off by itself (annoying during the eve)
Hotel staff was wery friendly 1. Mini-bar was empty 2. Because of the club on the first floor there were too much people near the entrance, some of them were really drunk.... that was not nice
harbour view no toothbrush and toothpaste provide until i ask for them
convenient location, considerate service the price is a little bit higher.
I think it is the only hotel in the world where you have to pay for use of the gym!! really ridiculous, 25 USD!!!
Loved the location - perfect to walk everywhere and a shopping complex underneath meant everything was easy. Travelling with a 1 year old this was a great benefit for us. We were even offered a room upgrade for a very small extra fee (about £20 a night before tax) so took it and it was well worth it! Can't complain about anything - loved our stay there.
Location. Price could have been a bit lower and an affiliation with a major hotel chain in order to get points.
friendly staff evening entertainment is to loud and only the locals like it.
The stay with hotel was good. As u enter the lobby of the Hotel, u feel at home, Rooms are comfortable too.. The bathrooms really did not give the rich feeling of a 4 star hotel, and were not very impressive, especially the bathtub area.
The staff are really polite and is always there to give you a smile The room is old and the bathroom is dirty
staff were wonderful no real relaxing area;except foyer
Convenience to get to the place in town within minutes
the central location and impressive foyer and facilities
The location was nice because near business area and shopping area. Some staffs no have mind serviced and their toilet is so small.
very clean, good staff service breakfast should be included not as an added extra charge
lobby, room they should have more towels in the room
The hotel is well located, with convenient access to the shopping and business district. The breakfast buffet was reasonable - it was basic, and provided sufficient choice...but I didn't look forward to it. I think that captures my view of the Pan Pacific - it served its purpose well, and that was it. Apart from the size of the hotel, and the quality of service from the staff, the rest of the hotel was rather like a Four Star hotel.
Breakfast buffets and service Only complaint I have is that the temperature in the lobby bar is too cold to enjoy the wonderful ambiance that exists in that venue.
the central location, the nice room and the view
The ambiance is nice and the service is splendid Swimming pool. Should design to cater for children
Everything seems more spacious than most of the hotels I have stayed in, giving guests an added sense of relaxation The officer who handed my check-in did not seem to know what she was doing. My guess is that she was new at the job. An apology would go a long way then but none was offered
i didn like the location
Everything, it is a very nice hotel!
Clean and comfortable. 20 minutes from the Airport. Step out the door of the Hotel into the Mall. Nice place. The fridge only had water and gatorade, no soft drinks, beer or snacks. Go to 7-11 in the Mall, half the price too. Music until about midnight can be heard. We were on the 11th floor.
I stayed at 1326 and with the view of city lights. Lovely at night and in the morning, view of the pool. The bar is not as good as others that I have experience, no change for last few years. Below standard of Pan Pac
The staff were curteous and very helpful. They were particularly helpful when we needed information on locations and phone numbers. We did not have to look for the information ourself. It's location is also perfect for those attending conventions at suntec. Great shopping options within the area without having to go to orchard. There was one day where there was a 'sewer' smell that seemed to pervade the building. I'm not quite sure what the reason behind this was.
I stayed in the north tower. The room was huge, nicely decorated, clean and a had great view. The hopper bus line had a pick up which was just steps away from the front door Too much air freshener in the lobby, $54 buffet breakfast and not as close as suggested to the shopping on Orchard road.
The size and comfort of the room, the friendliness of the staff and excellent service. It was in a great location. The swimming pool area and spa were very good.
Great location, very large rooms and excellent value!!
Excellent location, City Hall MRT is right next to the hotel, and is within walking distance to the CBD and interesting night spots. Very well connected by underground links and malls to the main shopping areas. Very nice rooms, and the executive floors are nicely self contained, with its own gym and restaurant.
Friendly welcome, spacious room, good location and quiet room at night for comfortable sleeping. Prompt service to fix minor fault with motorised draw curtains. Some furnishings showing wear and tear for this class of hotel and need upgrading. No free hotel internet computer (only hotel on our entire 3 week trip). I did have a major complaint but this will be taken up directly with the hotel not here but explains my selecting No to the following question.
room was quiet, comfortable. not luxurious, but good enough. gym and spa are good. check-in and out very efficient. a great city location.
I chose this hotel due to its reputation and location, centrally sited for everything and not too far to walk and as it was extremely humid whilst there. Fairmont hotels epitomise luxury and I doubt you would be disappointed. The hotel can be reached from the aiport by the MRT for $2, shuttle bus for $9 or taxi for $25 . Either choice will be quick and easy. The rooms are spacious and have all you would expect for your comfort and convenience. The hotel stands above a shopping mall, Raffles City, which is thankfully air conditioned and has a vast amount of shops and eating choices. All the staff I met were courteous and helpful. There are 2 outdoor pools and a large sun terrace as well as a fitness centre and spa. Nothing negative.
They always make me feel welcome every time I stay at the Hotel The rooms and the corridors in the north Tower need a little bit of a paint touch up.
Convenient for airport, city transport, restaurants, some sights, and good shopping mall. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Friendly helpful staff, from doormen and cleaners to senior staff. We had stayed at the hotel before and Drinks in bar were a bit expensive in comparison with those elsewhere.
Excellent rooms, comfortable beds, good view and friendly and helpful staff I have no complaints about the hotel.
Nice environment and conveniently linked to MRT and shopping centre.
the staff was extraordinary! The rooms and breakfast were top notch.
Room had great view of city was clean but had to request to move rooms because the first room smelled stale of moldy cigarettes. We were then moved to non smoking and it was worth the inconvenience although the view was less interesting. Staff was aware of stale smell and did help accommodate. Nice bathrooms. Overall architecturally interesting late 80's hotel... Will not return. I am asthmatic so right when we settled in I couldn't stop noticing the stale smell. We also had just landed in SG so tried to check in 30 minutes early and our reservation did not show up until 2 pm. The staff was not the most attentive and the hostess held on to my phone for about 10 minutes.
Convienient , good location and excellent views from windows . Efficient staff .Excellent breakfast for all tastes . Lifts efficient ,no waiting .Underground shopping mall attatched for quick shopping very convienient . No complaints
staff were helpfull and friendly, the cost of drinks during happy hour from 5pm to 9pm were cheaper than outside bars and overall the hotel was good nothing
I was working at the Suntec Convention Centre,so location was primary.Hotel is next to the centre, hence very good. Breakfast was overpriced, and not to my taste
the room is spacious no
An amazing 5 star hotel with attentive staff always willing to help. A fab chocolate sweet feast on fridays and saturdays not to be missed. Although the pool unavailable they had ensured that the pan pacific pool could be used.
Great staff and very accommodating. Had a very nice stay. Good breakfast and close to good restaurants abs tons of shopping.
We stayed in the club room on top floor, it was lovely - had all the facilities we'd expect as well as an amazing view of marina bay incl the new marina bay sands hotel. Enjoyed the cocktail and canape hour too and private dining for breakfast. Would def stay here again. Probably couldn't afford to stay here for too long, as its quite expensive, but worth it for one night of luxury.
Only the breakfast Dark hotel, slow service/checkin, old hotel, outdated rooms in poor condition, noicy hotel due to the design of the hotel with. Music from the loby goes straight to the 11th floor inside the room! Old bathrooms.... In short a BAD experience
We arrive at 6 30 am,after a night flight ,many hours before the official check in time , the receptionist gave us immediatly a temporary room so we could change and take a shower, until our room get ready.
Wonderful spacious room with king size bed, large marble bathroom with double sinks, tub and separate shower. every morning our we ate at the breakfast buffet, an array of English, Chinese, Japanese and Singaporean favorites, including a personal chef for eggs, an ice cream machine, and plenty of cappuccino or espresso too. Attached to a large shopping mall, and close to the MRT (subway). Nothing, a better value than the Ritz.
location is good, easy access to the subway, many shopping mall in a walking distance the hotel is under renovation and has a lot of noise, they are breaking one side of the hotel, so impossible to sleep during the day.
The location of the Hotel is very convenient , not too far from the central business district still very quiet The air conditioner had aan erratic temperature control.
The cleanliness. TV channels were not clear.
Location was very good.
The gym was decent considering how old the hotel was. I was able to find most things in the gym. I did a late check out no problem (2pm) Water pressure in the shower was good. Bed Bugs. Felt itchyness on my legs and head. Bed was flat and rock hard Cable was weak. Needed one good nights rest and I couldn't even get that.
This is a very nice hotel to stay at, great location and great staff. I can recommend this hotel
Bright room lighting no
We were very comfortable and able to get a really good nights sleep as the beds were extremely comfortable. Staff very attentive and efficient. Not a complaint but would like to have been issued extra tea and coffee supplies.
Very good value for money. Staff were friendly. Location is convenient only if you don't mind walking everywhere.
it is very conveninly located and and all your hotel staff have been very kindly to the guest. nothing
The hotel room I stayed in was good. The staff were helpful. But see my comments below. When I arrived I was given a room which was occupied by another guest who I found out had the same name as me. There needs to be a more rigorous checking of guests details - I supplied home address when I checked in but this wasn't use as a check. On Saturday morning I received a phone call re the return flight which was obviously for the other person. I don't expect these slips in a high quality hotel.
Attentive and helpful staff, central location and comfortable room. No issues
Location is great! Breakfast buffet is fabulous! Overall value is reasonable! The facility seems old, but it doesn't look bad. Pool is small, but it was ok for kids.
No free WiFi , the decorate getting specially floor , carpet and bathroom .
the scale of the room is good there isn't
The service by the hotel staff was impeccable. Amonf the best hotel experiences I have had anywhere. The fitness center was very good, but not up to the standard of other Intercontinental Hotels I have visited.
They were able to relocate me to another room when I requested. The original was too noisy as it overlooked Bugis market. Very comfortable bed and wonderful sheets. Gym sightly disappointing. Would have liked the option of scheduled exercises classes like the hotel I stayed in in Hanoi.
Perfect location, size of the room, cleaniness and the tempreture control of the air-conditioning is very efficient and easy to operate Swimming pool is small in relative term when compared to Stamford, Conrad and Ritz Carlton in Singapore
Easy use of the club lounge. sound isulation.
room was very comfortable, the gym friendly and good pool. long time to get case to room on arrival. seems this is often the case in hotels. in future will carry case to room.
Friendly staff and nice ambience I stayed on the 4th floor where there was a little garden. I noticed ants crawling into my room from there. This is unacceptable.
The staff were nothing short of exceptional - the best I've ever experienced. Lack of in-room wireless internet connectivity.
The door satff are excellent and the receptionist Sharon was very good indeed. There are no smoking facilities in the hotel. It's a nice hotel but not great.
The food is terrible. It was wasting money.
the service was excelent the rooms are somehow aging,
great location, terrific swimming pool area. the staff seem to be learning on the job. We have to made the same request over and over again and nothing seems to register. For example, we book two rooms, one for our friend is paying for the airport limo transfer. I wrote before arriving that our friend who is staying on the club floor is paying for both trip to and from the airport. When we arrived at the hotel, we tell the concierge the same thing. At check out, the bill is still wrong and this is just one of many examples and we only stayed there for one night!!!
The restaurants are all top notch. Pool is lovely and large. Sport facility nicely equipted. Pool bar fantastic meeting place for business or personal. Spa treatments excellent, but facilities not up to rest of hotel standard The green in front of the hotel belongs ot the military. They woke me up at 6:30 am doing their exercises. Very irritating. Check before booking a bay side room if there are military exercises planned
It s a business hotel.I stayed one night (Sat/Sun) at a very favorable weekend rate. Superb suite. Pity I couldn't enjoy the luxury longer. Breakfast on Sundays is a disaster. Buffet is very spread out i.e. long ways from one station to another, it is overcrowded (many Singaporeans stay just for this weekend night), long queues everywhere. Singaporeans are very inconsiderate and just elbow you out of the way. 44 S$++ is a bit high for this breakfast which is very average . When I remarked that I do not appreciate breakfast in a 'school canteen' set up, the matter was dealt with without hesitation. It was a very nice gesture. No complaint as my complaint 'breakfast' was dealt with to my satisfaction.
ease of access to business areas. the food was also very good
The staff was superb in every respect; the food deliscious and the spa was marvelous. A great place to celebrate a special event. Only that we could not stay longer.
The staff are amazing. Cannot do enough to help. Usually addressing us by name (even the porters picked up our name from luggage tags). Waiter changed our dinner order after he noticed us appreciating the dessert at a nearby table, Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. Room perfect, club lounge comfort and food also wonderful. Just cannot say enough how much we loved it. Just there for 2 night stop over but going back for a week's holiday. Almost forgot about the great massage! Heaven.
Service is excellent. Staff is very polite with high responsibility of they duties to be performed in time and in excellent way!!! Breakfast is very nice organized! There is no Café downstairs: first floor or somwhere near Reception area...
excellent service, first-class facilities
The service was amazing! N/A
Conrad truly lives up to it's name in this location. The hotel is extremely well maintained, the staff is attentive courteous and ready to help, and the amenities more than sufficient for a hotel that caters mostly to business (we were there for leisure). Rooms are spacious (for Asian standards), clean and could find nothing non-functional or a bit off. Hotel provides 2 small bottles of water daily - also available upon request - which is great for taking with you. Towels are plush and the bed linens are veeerrryyy comfortable. There is no external noise in the rooms - not that Singapore is a noisy city like NYC. Even numbered rooms have a slightly better view (of the Sands and Gardens but at an angle) but odd numbered rooms have the fountain view - not bad either. Cannot go wrong with this hotel choice. Nothing not to like really. Conrad Centennial is extremely well run, well maintained and the staff is stupendous.
Service is perfect
location, business meeting
my wife was injured before her arrival and the staff rsponded with great care and understanding
staff were very nice and went out of their way to please us (except manager) our room was not reserved, we checked in just after 3pm (check in started at 2pm) and had requested a king bed - none were available and was offered a twin room, had to stress we wanted a king before one was found for us
Plleasant atmosphere, great location. No
The staff were friendly and approachable, room service was excellent.
The staff were without exception went out of their way to help us make the most of our short break. The hotel facilities themselves were everything we could have wanted. The bed was a little hard for us but that is a personal preference thing.
I'm very impressed with the receptionist attitude and service. I think the housekeeping is a little disturbing as they are persistant in asking when can they make up the room.
The staff seemed very friendly. This place wasn't the 5 star we thought it would be but then again we were in the base price room.Thank you. No not really.
The staff were very courteous and helpful. The room facilities were good and clean. My room was at 726, right at the corner. The door does not close well and I have to pay special attention to close the door properly. This is the case for the bathroom door too.
i like the service of your hotel that taking to the hptel room. i have bing to so many hotel in singapore or out side singapore this kind of service that i have in your hotel keep it up good jod. thank u
The staff were exceptional. Our room, a patio suite, was spacious and well designed - loved the addition of a coffeee machine in the room and the location was great - next to Raffles and a short walk to the centre of Singapore.
the room, the deco, lighting and service. may i have special price as a I am a very good marketing person to tell everyone I knew about your hotel, I LOVE IT!!
Amazing location, on a quiet street. The room is superbly clean, and the facilities are very nice.
our second stay in a room with Kitchenette would highly recommend
Very courteous and helpful staff at all levels, Excellent tourist (and business) location
staff attentive, friendly and professional .very unusual for singapore.room was pure bliss as was the pool. only gripe was that airconditioning temperature could not be individually controlled.based on this probably would not stay again.shame because in every other way this hotel is truly outstanding .
The staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and the bathroom excellent, the bed comfortable and the service great. nothing we did not like about the hotel
offers the usual comforts, with great furnishings ad great toiletries. service is welcoming, extending the usual Loved membership perks to my SLH account. could do with providing late checkout more automatically rather than upon request on the day of departure itself. see above on the late checkout. breakfast has somewhat gone down in quality. actually my suggestion is to provide a salad/dessert buffet spread, with a fixed breakfast set, rather than to try to offer everything on buffet.
View by the pool, friendly personel, immediately response on questions and problems, nespresso machine, good big bed, luxe bath, relax atmosphere, design, indirect light None
The room was very clean and conformable. Also, the hotel has great staff...they are soooo friendly and nice....Thank you NAUMI for the great service. The breakfast was not included...it would be nice if they include it.
I like the decor of my room very much, the Aesop amenities and all other details in the room are nice. This is definitely rated a 5-star hotel. However, if being compared to other 5-star boutique hotels, their service is a little not up to a 5-star standard. People at the reception are not 'friendly' enough.
the hospitality (each days there is many kind of drinks to be provided ) the breakfast is so poor if we compare it to another 5 stars hotels!
The style of the hotel 3 Singapore Slingh for Euro 40.- !!! in the Long Bar - also drink much too sweet
It has a sense of history that one cannot get from modern hotels. Excellent service, friendly but professional. Can't think of anything I didn't like
The best I've ever been in. While the physical plant is equalled or exceeded by other fine hotels, the level of service and the attitude of the staff is beyond any other.
We loved everything about Raffles Hotel
At least once in a lifetime you should stay at Raffles it is an experience you will never forget.
The service was wonderful. Our room was absolutely beautiful, and immaculate. The lack of live music at the gazebo / Courtyard bar. It used to make the atmosphere there even more special.
Ambience History People on staff Nothing
The room and the garden No internet in the room, or the internet line doesn't work
The classical style of this more then 100 year old hotel we liked a lot. Staff was very helpful and nice. The TV is old and not many TV Channels. Rates of the hotel are a bit to high.
Convenient to walk to MRT or many tourist sites, really comfortable beds and extremely quiet, relaxing rooms. Despite the somewhat disappointing breakfast, we would recommend this hotel for cleanliness, quietness and pleasant staff. Could have used a convenient get-it-yourself ice machine. Breakfast was included, buffet style, and was only mediocre, but probably hard to manage with the number of people using it.
Everything was perfect. The room was set up with the extra bed and ready for us when we arrived in the wee hours of the morning. The view from the window was spectacular: the Singapore Flyer and the Marina Bay Sands Hotel with the boat on top. Breakfast included a buffet of Singaporean and international foods, which got our day of touring off to a great start. I was eager to show off the Peninsula Excelsior Hotel to our family we were visiting. The location was excellent and only a 5-minute walk to the MRT station, which took us all over Singapore. I would definitely stay in the hotel again and ask for Room 1113! In the display of brochures offered to tourists, I wish the brochure on the Marina Bay Gardens was in English. I checked with the front desk and concierge of both the Peninsula and the Excelsior towers.
The staff were extremely accomdating and polite.
the location was very good, rooms and breakfast also excellent
The service of Room Service staffs and Counter Staff is excellent. They are all smiling and kind to answer all your enquiries. Nothing.
The carpet was stained and dirty. Upholstery on chairs were dirty and had holes in them.
Not so many things, it is so average hotel the quality and service are quite poor, except breakfast and luch there is no open buffet restaurant. For breakfast and lunch, open buffet is very very poor. As I stayed at similar hotels, I cannot even compare.
Experiance was not good. We were provided with 2 single beds instead of King. Same as above.
The room given had been renovated very recently. Very close to City Hall MRT/ 300 meters from Boat quay and the Esplanade area. The breakfast buffet is not tasty, better go to a maket and eat fresh local food.
Good sized rooms, comfortable bed and a full size proper bath.
near our business partner company
The best was the location to the MRT and good eating facilities. The service was a little slow sometimes.
Comfortable bed. Great shower. Patong bar 1 for 1 deals. Laundry changed even when not required. Two night stay and bed and towels changed after first night. Not so good for the environment.
Location was excellent, the Hotel with such high standards made our visit to Singapore wonderful
nice room, good service, good location, good restaurant The continental breakfast is a little poor. The breakfastbuffet is excellent, but too expensive for the modest breakfast that we need. For instance a bit of fresh fruit with the continental breakfast would be nice.
Helpful to allocate us a temporary room as we arrived, very tired, early in the morning, with children. The hotel is in a good location.
late check out Charging of drinking water, no bottle water offer as complementary
We didn't use any of the facilities other than the rooms as a place to rest. Great central location within walking distance of most areas; if you don't mind walking about a mile to Chinatown, Little India, Arab Street, and Orchard. Two MRT stations within 2-3 blocks (5-10 minutes). A few restaurants, coffee shops, and pubs within one block. This is in a quieter area, no raging parties and noise like Orchard or Clark Quay. Staff was extremely nice and attentive. I would stay here again! No complaints
The room was v good
Everythıng was handled effıcıently and was as agreed. Staff were helpful and room was comfortable,
Just another simple hotel. Stayed in July,07 and the rate was one of the lowest for that quality. Didn't like the absence of free water and elevators working only with room card.
consignare people helped a lot, check in was also very quick
Walking distance to food court, mrt station and shopping district. Its clean and value for money. Yes, the pillows smell. Please change. Tnx.
