Cons: Obviously the system went wrong during the Thanksgiving, it was overbooked and Hertz didn't realize it until the last minute. They called me right before I was there for the pick up, telling me they don't have any car left so I don't have to come. What the hell?! So I still went there, since there's no other options I could do, and apparently I wasn't the only one who got stood up by Hertz, there were many others yelling at them for not getting the cars.
So it took us around another hour wait for the next one returned their car so we could get it.

They Cancelled On Me
Cons: The morning of my pickup (9am) I get a phone call from Hertz at 8:30am saying there were no cars for me. I made a reservation weeks prior, had my confirmation number on hand, meant nothing. They called a few surrounding Hertz dealerships to try and find me a vehicle, but basically said I was tough out of luck. I took my business elsewhere and that experience was seamless.

Pros: Friendly staff, car was efficient for its purpose, quick and efficient transaction
Cons: Parking lot was small and cars were overflowing when the car was returned a day early.

Pros: The price was fair only
Cons: They were overbooked so when i arrived they had no vehicle for me, then after waiting a couple of hours for a vehicle, I was then informed they don't accept debit cards. I was totally done with Hertz at that point "no worries though enterprise hooked me up and they accept debit"

Wonderful experience overall
Pros: Pick up and drop off were easy. The car quality was excellent. I extended the car rental for 1 day and despite a slight hitch in the initial communication about it - the extension was processed easily in the end. Overall I had a wonderful experience with this office, the team and the car rental experience overall.

Rough from the beginning!
Cons: My rental started with myself having difficulty finding the puck up in Paramus, so I called the store for help. The worker told me she wasn't from around there and put it in my gps. When I asked her if I could speak to someone who could direct me better, I was put on hold and forgotten about. When I arrived there after being helped by some friendly strangers, the system was down amf apparently had been for an hour. Instead of filling out paper forms, which don't take all that long - I know from renting at small offices - they kept trying and waiting while the office filled with people for the Christmas holiday. On top of that, they ran out of cars (!) when the system did come back up.

Cons: I made a reservation for a car through Kayak with Hertz and when I got there , no cars were available even with my reservation. I was in another sate, with no cars, and had to call Uber going to different rental companies until I found a car. Hertz explained that Kayak does not check their inventories before allowing customers to make reservations through their sites. Both companies are incompetent. Would not recommend either.
In addition, Kayak phone system is so poor that it makes it is very difficult to speak to a representative. The prompts will keep giving you the round around until you give up without. A simple and straightforward press on "0" to stalk to a rep will suffice but they do on purpose to discourage the customer. Call avoidance at its best. Will definitely not use not he future and will advise friends not to either.

Cons: Telephones were not answered; kept calling and leaving messages during working hours. They explained later they were busy. One time a man answered and said I am with a customer, I will call back but never did
This happened so many times that I was concerned about what kind of car I'd get or even if Id get a car. I cancelled through the 880 number and went to Enterprise. I paid more but got excellent service
Pros: The compact car that I'd reserved wasn't available so I was offered a Dodge Caravan at the same rate. I expressed my concern about using more gas with the larger vehicle and was offered a half tank of gas to be returned empty at no extra charge. I accepted the offer, and waited about 25 minutes for the replacement vehicle. Overall I was quite happy with the vehicle and with the friendly and helpful customer service.
Cons: The vehicle I'd reserved wasn't available, and I had to wait a little while for a replacement. Being just two days before Christmas, I understand that the demand for cars is quite busy, and it was really not much of an inconvenience.

Hiden Fees/Rip Off
Pros: Nothing. Do not use this location, it's a scam.
Cons: Purchased insurance with rental online for $45 total. Upon arriving, the had no cars ready, drove us 20 minutes out of the way to another location, then said they don't except the insurance I paid for and that I lost that $45. Then told me they charge $45 per day for insurance!! In all we paid $415 for what was sold online for $130. DISGUSTING PEOPLE.
