Don't be scammed
Cons: I made the reservation for four days and just used the default drop off pick up times of noon. I've never had a problem with any rental car company in the past picking up a car as much as a day early. I arrived 1 1/2 hours early and was told that if I picked up the car even ONE MINUTE before noon that my contract would be invalidated and a new one generated. So I asked what the "new" price would be. Instead of the $90.00 rate on my contract the new rate was quoted as $150.00. So I asked what would happen if I picked up the car one minute after noon and received a shrug. I started to walk away and the lady called me back and said maybe she could "do better." So I let her run another quote and she came up with a total of $110.00, still over the original rate, but my daughter was waiting for me at the terminal so I took it. The car initially looked fairly clean, but as soon as sunlight hit the windows, they were so smeared I could barely see out of them so I had to stop at the first gas station to clean them. Also I was told if I chose the "bring it back full" option I had to save the receipt to prove I had filled up within 10 miles of the airport. I did this and when I tried to give it to the lady who checked me in, she said she didn't need it. All in all extremely poor experience with Dollar and I will never rent with them again.

not particularly transparent about the hidden cost
Pros: I loved the car I had, very clean and comfortable. The staff at the pick up and drop off office was very nice and friendly.
Cons: The price showed on the online estimate does NOT correspond to what you are asked to pay...too many fees and extra taxes that are not included from thr beginning...it turned out to be almost twice as much!!!

Surprise! You actually did not rent a car.
Pros: Nothing. The experience was a nightmare and the customer service was deplorable.
Cons: Dollar allowed me to reserve a car with a debit card. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, they stated their terms of agreement had changed as of the first. When I explained that even 3rd party, 3 other companies had out right said I could not rent without a credit card, yet there company allowed me to proceed. I never received any correspondence, nor received any documentation suggesting otherwise. Instead, there customer service team rudely placed the blame on me. No sorry no attempt to make things right. I left the counter feeling accused more than anything.
