Pros: Customer service was very good. The car was clean and ran very well. It had great gas mileage.
Cons: The car rental location was off-site and only offered transpiration 'back' to the airport. We had to fend for ourselves in getting 'to' the car rental location.

Cons: The carpet in the cargo area behind the rear seat was a little dirty from the wheels of bags stored there.

Pros: The upgrade with no extra cost as they had nothing else available.
Cons: Car was not available when I arrived. The car I got had obviously been in a fender bender, body panels popped, scraps, tape on car. It was only half washed and barely cleaned. Found out after I had driven many miles the tags were 2 months expired when I had nice visits with the California Highway Patrol. Rear end and brakes iffy on the vehicle. When I returned the young man had a total attitude when I reported the tag issue to him, and did not believe me then tried to start arguing. Was double charged and had to deal with that as well due to original booking information did not get into Hertz system complete. Was charged again at site, turned out was hold on card but the desk agent did not even know what that was and I was referred to Hertz...who referred to the original booking site (PL), who referred me back to Hertz...Seems every rental from Hertz has issues, and I am a Gold club, so it is frustrating. Need to streamline your issues with your booking agencies. The Hertz CS agents were helpful, even though I was call dropped 3x on their end on transfer or hold and had to keep calling back and starting over.

hertz rental agency sucks
Pros: I hated everything about my experience with hertz the staff was unprofessional the car was no where near what I booked mind you I booked and paid a whole month in advance I walked into their main office and the staff was all playing around talking about how wasted they got the night before and yes the manager to he called me a lier and said it was my fault for not reading the fine print and then withheld my identification so when I went to the next place to rent a car I didn't even have my ID plus they kept my deposit which was 200$ if there was a way to give Hertz Rent-a-Car negative stars and prevent other people from the same terrible and unprofessional experience I would do it I would recommend any other agency over hertz rent a car...
Cons: Every single thing about hertz sucks I was forced to go to enterprise but I give them 5+ stars friendly staff professional good cars a little bit more on price but it was worth the service
