They didn’t even have a car for me. Told me I would have to wait 3 hours or I could go somewhere else. They only could say I could call there corporate office! They were absolutely no help and completely terrible! Horrible experience!!!Reviewed Jan 6 2024

Did not like discovering the hidden costs of adding a second driver. The pickup experience was AWFUL - 2-and-a-half-hour wait for the vehicle in a sultry garage without water or bathrooms - after we had completed the rental agreement. Will never rent from Thrifty again.Reviewed Sep 25 2023

Pros:My flight got in late at night. I usually use Enterprise but the airport branch was closed so I took a risk and booked Thrifty. I'm glad it panned out. The staff member was efficient and kind. I feel like given the rental car shortage in Hawaii the price was reasonable. Pick up and drop off was a breeze.Cons:When we came to drop off the car, since the lot is both Dollar and Thrifty I wasn't 100% sure where I was supposed to park because all of the signs say Dollar. An un-uniformed man motioned for me to park in a spot then wandered off. Once we unloaded the car he popped back up, collected our rental contract and keys and sent us to the shuttle line. Overall 4.9 out of 5.Reviewed May 14 2021

Cons:The wait for pick up was AWFUL. An hour to get the car. No sense of urgency from staff and they were not apologetic for the long wait. The long wait was not unique to the day I picked up because when I returned the following day to drop off the car the lines were just as long.Reviewed May 5 2021

Pros:Pickup was easy.Cons:Price was $2,500 OVER the estimated charge when I dropped off car. The woman checking in the car did not know why. After I had mistakenly paid and told her the situation all she could say was "too late now!" Wouldn't you check the amount to see if it was accurate BEFORE checking in the vehicle? Luckily I went into the front office and they corrected the error.Reviewed Mar 23 2021

Pros:Drop off was quick and smooth. Agent was friendly.Cons:Pickup took too long. Agent spent too long trying to upsell and we weren’t interested and expressed such. Then, the car we were assigned looked like it had been washed with sandpaper. It was clear the car had been abused. Top was clunky and interior was dirty.
