  • For flights to Cali, recent KAYAK data shows that stronger deals tend to land around $420 round-trip. If you see a fare below that threshold, it's a strong deal – book before the price climbs back up.

  • Before you book:

    • Check the route's typical price range so you can spot a deal.
    • Confirm baggage fees and seat-selection costs on budget carriers.
    • Verify whether you need any travel documents beyond ID.
    • Pick a departure airport, since your nearest may not be the cheapest origin.
  • Shift your departure to afternoon to save up to $79 per round-trip. Afternoon flights to Cali average $526 compared to $605 for evening flights. See the time-of-day chart above for the full breakdown.

Always check the fare details before booking, since bag policies can change by ticket type.
  • Once you arrive in Cali, a few great places to start are Estadio Olímpico Pascual Guerrero, Parque Del Perro and Gobernacion del Valle del Cauca. These are popular with first-time visitors and can give you a good feel for the area.
  • Just booked a flight to Cali? Then you will be flying into Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport, also known as Alfonso Bonilla Airport. During your time at the airport, why not make it comfortable by paying a visit to one of the airport’s premium lounges? • When traveling to Cali through Alfonso Bonilla Airport, one must be awake for the landing part of the flight. The airport is located in a long valley running from north to south. Additionally, it is surrounded by mountains as high as 4,000 meters. Touching down while surrounded by such a great view of the landscape is not something you want to miss.
  • Traveling to Cali for the first time can be intimidating for anyone. All first timers need some assistance. Fortunately, Cali Airport has an information center on the Landside of the second floor close to the airline offices. The desk is open from 6 am to 10 pm.
  • Luggage wrapping is a great way to provide extra protection for your luggage. Cali Airport has wrapping machines located in the check-in area. The size of the luggage determines the cost.
  • Cali Airport is used by 3 million passengers a year. It is a great airport for a connection flight to other parts of Colombia or Latin America. To ease the number of passengers it services, the airport has self-service check-in kiosks throughout the terminal as per the airline. These kiosks are great for saving time during check-in.
  • Once you land at Cali Airport and feel like you need to take a shower, you can use the shower facilities available at either of the two Avianca Sala VIP lounges located in the domestic and international terminals. The good news is that regardless of your ticket type, you will be able to get cleaned up at the lounge.

It is not a good experience with Copa Airlines: flight delay, luggage delay, etc.

We where skipped for this flight will not head to Panama until tonight..

Orderly boarding, priority for platinum members, courtesy drinks from business class even when we were seating in economy.

There should be a warning regarding the quality of the aircraft on the website as we reserve the tickets. There was no TV or any type of screen onboard. The wifi they offer is good for nothing. Traveling 9 hours straight with kids and no type of entetainment was horrible. I wish I had been informed prior so I could buy a ticket with another airline. The food was a joke too. A very tiny portion per passenger. They also charged $100 per checked bag. With United I used to pay $60. So, fair to say that I wont be flying Copa anymore. Their aircraft was super old, outdated, no entertainment, with nearly no onboard food.

Very strict carry on rules meant most of the plane had to gate check their luggage. As is often the case had things that were broken because of this, but I appreciated not being charged to gate check. Otherwise good flight and great crew once on the plane

I liked the meatloaf the chicken was awful but the plane was on time and got there and the staff was nice.

Boarding was quick & efficient; they gave boarding groups due priority; staff & air crew were very cordial and helpful, pleasant flight.

Very happy with my flight. I would definitely recommend it.

The flight was delayed twice and I could not speak with anyone at the airport about checking in. The phone number to Copa - the customer service agents were polite. They are just limited at helping because they are not at the airport

Great! The airline is very spacious and the crow was good.

4 hour delay. So our flight schedule mass up. Your worker told me you should rebooking myself. I was very angry. Latam Airline always get the money more through any way. But They have no concern passenger.

Honestly first time flying with delta and it was pretty good. All the process very smooth and crew was always nice and attentive.

Deleted flight made me loose my connection flight now stuck in Atlanta for a day

Apart of Sky miles delta. And they go everywhere in Brazil

Really bad experience – delayed for 6 hours without any notice, no food or drinks provided, and stuck in the horrible Cartagena airport.

On time. At least they offer a drink and a small snack. Plane was clean

Airline lost my luggage and after 20 days it has not been returned nor refunded any money.

It was confusing because I got a notification that my gate was changed when in reality it wasn’t

Awful, horrible customer service. Flight got delayed and had to spend y the night in Bogota as a result. Very poor

Hostile flight attendants. Second flight with Jose so much better. Arrived 1/2 hour early. Thanks.

Not a United thing, but late afternoon departures from Denver with thunderstorms is always prone to delays.

Kayak booked this flight with only 1h 20min layover in Chicago. This made it impossible for me and several other passengers to reach this flight. Moreover, the gate closed boarding in spite of several passengers still on their way without waiting even one more minute. However, the plane departed with 20min (!) delay, i.e., there would have been at least 15 min time to let the delayed passengers board without causing any delays. I complained and as a "thank you" the attendent booked us on the last (!) flight to Indianapolis ~7h later! Thankfully, I caught the spitefulness and the United customer line rebooked the flight to an earlier flight. Although I can't grade this particular flight since I never had a chance to take it, Kayak made the mistake of a too short layover and the crew at the gate was awful.

With discover in general was very good but from Munich yo Palermo was poor

Sitting in coach even in the larger leg space is extremely uncomfortable and the staff pay no attention.

Really delayed, no effort to support customers other than “sometimes we run late.”

It was serviceable, nothing special but nothing awful on this leg.

On boarding crew at the airport called in the boarding numbers too early meaning before the previous line was completed resulting in later numbers getting to board ahead. Also she asked those who boarded from number 3 to have the tags in their carry-on bags and leave it in the jet bridge. Most of the overhead bins were empty though. This is more work for the ground staff in addition to more inconvenience for passengers waiting to get their carry-ons from the jet bridge.

Polaris seat is plush and conducive to sleep. Cabin crew was experienced, highly attentive and helpful when any need arose, such as finding a lost phone in the seat mechanism. Food was a disappointment, especially the Japanese items coming out of Newark all seemed a bit overcooked, though the empanada snacks served midway were a hit.

The flight was excellent. Their was no service as we boarded, the flight attendants spent about 30 minutes just taking and not really caring that the cabin was about 80 degrees and did not offered any beverage to first class passengers or any passenger. The flight from DEN to ONT is not long but not under an hour, we received one drink and bag of chips if you were lucky. I was in first class…. I did leave my hat on the plane and it only took less than five minutes for a United rep to locate and bring it to me.

Flight did not have wifi service. It was experiencing technical difficulties. Definitely and old plane that needs updating.

DCA-LAX No screen on a 5 hour flight (almost) no food for sale on a 5 hour flight (practically) no wifi coverage or speed on a 5 hour flight I should have gotten my money back, shame on American

Flight was good, little delayed because of busy plane traffic

I had ridiculously long body search because I have knee and hip replacements

My luggage is missing. I haven’t received it. No one seems to know how I can find it

A crew member's attitude towards a couple passengers who couldn't speak English was rude. Just because they didn't understand what the passenger said, they were not given any snack.

Flight was delayed because of mechanical. Could not get landing space which caused me to miss my connection. Messy and not organized.

Flight was on time. Boarding was smooth and orderly. Flight attendants were friendly and professional. Bags came out soon after arrival.

Plane had mechanical issues. We had to de plane and board a different plane and were an hour late

Nothing with the flight. It was good. Crew as very helpful especially fist class flight attendant.

Boarding was efficient. On board drink was slow. Temperature was a bit warm in the beginning.

Seating was tight. Seats don't recline. Initial flight was cancelled. Lost two days of vacation.

It was delayed and I lost my connection flight to Cali and I missed my Mom's funeral and avianca lost my check in luggage

It was delayed and I lost my connection flight to Cali and I missed my Mom's funeral

I actually upgraded to the medium level of seats from basic and even doing that it may have been physically the most uncomfortable flight I have ever had. They packed everyone like is a train to death camp. It was a red eye so I hoped to get some sleep but it was physically impossible to find a comfortable way to rest. I met other folks on the same flight and they said the same thing. It was an utterly miserable flight and if I have any other options I will never fly with them again

Deplaning was a mess, I sat in business (seats are horrible) and the front door had a problem so we had to deplane from the rear exit. The stairs were not tall enough to reach so there was a large step down from the plane to the top of the stairs.

Pros: we leave and arrive on time Cons: the most uncomfortable seats ever. You cant recline at all your seats. No entertainment No TVs flight attendants didn't provide even a glass of water. You have to go to back of the airplane and ask for one. I am Colombian and I remember seeing the flight attendants very neat, elegants which is or was a staple of Avianca.it was one with tennis shoes, no male up, the hair was messy... that was really odd.

Last seat of Bussines Class it does recline but passenger seating behind kept pushing since they did not have space once my seat was reclined

I like the crew they're very friendly. I don't like. on five hour flight they not offered snacks. Any drink. Not even coffee

This low cost airline looks and fells more like a local bus. In a 6 hour flight not being able to recline a seat is torture. The only thing available with no charge is a glass of water provided by, mostly, rude staff. Our luggage didn’t arrive

COP 7,000 for a cup of mediocre coffee. I thought I was on Spirit Airlines for a minute. Otherwise the flight was fine. Nothing exceptional to report.
