Customer Service Wanting
Pros: Great gas mileage on the Hyundai Sonata -- I averaged over 30 MPG.
Cons: I picked up this car on the waterfront near the Aquarium because renting off the airport saved me hundreds of dollars. When I got to the rental office, I was the only customer. I was give the agreement and the keys. They had no maps. They (there were two people working there) didn't even tell me where to get the car! I asked where the car was. "In the lot," I was told. Okay, where's the lot. The lot was above us. Where's the entrance. "Around the corner." Which corner? Which way do I go? I've had more assistance from customer service agents overseas who didn't speak English. When I got to the entrance to the parking garage, I saw a sign that said, "Avis Check-in Seventh Floor." Thank goodness no one moved the sign or I'd still be looking for the car. Although new with only about 500 miles on it, the car itself was spotted with bird droppings. People at the airport where I returned the car were much, much more helpful.

Cons: My search was for a car at Logan airport. The result was a car in Allston MA. Who would do that?
