Cons: Our flight was changed to a red eye. Arrived at 5:30 am in Boston. Counter not scheduled to open until 7:00 am. At 7 , no one showed up. Waited 30 minutes before an Avis representative took pity on us. He, some how, was able to process our rental. At return there was no representative in the garage, only at the counter inside.
Pros: Nothing-didnt rent
Cons: I never picked the car up because your inefficient system let me book a car from a place that was closed before my airline arrived. And neither organization Payless, or you would do anything about it.

Pros: Pick up was easy, drop was unclear what you should do and there was one guy moving cars just shouting instructions.
Cons: Headlights were very dim and a little rain-x on the windshield would have been nice. Lots of glare on windshield with dim headlights made for a very unsafe return trip.

Cons: Had two cars one with a flat the other with bad suspension that banged on every bump. Unsafe over 60 mph
Cons: Reservation made at $22/day and they refused that, stating it was $22/hr!
Pros: The service picking up and dropping off was terrible. Especially the guy when I dropped it off a day early.......he was so "rude and aggressive" that the attendant from the next booth Avis/Budget helped me with directions. I did take a picture of the guy because he was so aggressive I thought he might come after me.......very scary!!!!
Cons: Customer service at the counter and also in the back when I was looking for the car and dropping it off. I will NEVER EVER rent a car from them again

Cons: To start off the gentleman(Joel) helping me behind the counter was extremely rude and condescending to me. He did not introduce himself and proceeded to eat his dinner while helping me. I tried to ask questions In regards to the details of my rental and he was very short and dismissive. I asked questions about the toll system and he would not answer my questions and acted as if I should know. To end this encounter I simply moved forward with my rental to get on my way. Once in my car the car had pre set restrictions where the volume can not go above 14. I have a hearing impairment. This was very frustrating for me because I could not hear the radio or my navigation and had to ability to turn it up. I called the customer service agent and they told me there was nothing they could do for me. I filed a complaint in regards to the poor customer service received and have yet to hear back from them. When I returned my car the company charged me 265 dollars and could not explain to me what the charges are for. I was not emailed an invoice. When I dropped the car off the service agent said everything looked good. Very very very very frustrating will never rent Payless again.
