Cons: Had to wait a couple minutes when I returned the car because no one was there. Never received an email receipt.

Pros: We had an accident while on vacation in Massachusetts and totaled the car. The home office were most understanding. When we returned to the airport the desk person and manager were there and ask first about us and our injuries, then quickly had us fill out one form and we were on our way. Most grateful!
Cons: Leaving the car by ambulance.

Cons: They have above market fees for everything compared to more established companies. Their return process was very disorganized and they could not give me confirmation of my return.

Cheapest by far
Pros: Rented minivan - this company had the cheapest rates by far. Was worried once I looked at the Yelp reviews, but everything went fine.
Cons: Pickup process was a bit slow.

Pros: they lost my car and then tried to charge me for an upgrade for another car because they didn't have any left in the car that I reserved. Took an hour in the garage trying to find the car that I had already paid for.

Cons: Longish wait in line at the rental place, but the great customer service when I got to the front made it all worthwhile.

Extremely long wait to pick up the car.
Pros: Everything was fine after signing up and picking the car.
Cons: There was a long line and just one counter to check-in. It took over an hour in the line before my turn came to sign and pick-up the car. I needed the car for only 6 hours out of which I wasted 1 hour waiting in line!! Very poor service. But no fault of the person at the counter - she was as fast she could be. There should have been more counters open to serve so many customers waiting in the line!!

Pros: Line was shorter than the other car rental companies. Service was great. I was happy that we ended up getting a Prius because we had a long drive and saved $$ on gas mileage.
Cons: I didn't like that the original quote ($113) ended up being $220 after all the added on fees. I find that misleading.

Cons: Sold me EZ pass for $18. I understood that it is for the whole 3 days. But it end up for a day. So, totally $67+ for nothing. The guy on the counter was very slow and we stay in line for a long time.

victim of extra charges for insurance
Pros: The whole experience was good and the could be perfect if I was informed the last moment at the casier that I have to pay extra137$ (the car rent was 112$ so 110% more) for supposedly needed car insurance.
Cons: I was informed the very last moment when I went there to pick the car that I have to pay extra137$ for supposedly needed car insurance. I didn't have time to think or search for it so i paid the extra money. As I discovered later my cradit card was enough as it was covering me. I am very dissappointed by this and I doudt if I will trust again very cheep companies with such hidden charges at the last moment!!!!

Long wait in line.
Pros: Easy processing once I made it to the counter, received a free upgrade as my class of vehicle was not available. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Extremely easy and quick drop-off as well.
Cons: I had to wait a little over 30 minutes in line before getting to the counter to finalize documents and receive keys to vehicle. There should have been more staff on hand!!

Car scratched up
Pros: Relatively efficient process. Attitude of person who checked us in very positive
Cons: Attitude of staff in pickup/drop off area towards customers not great. Condition of car exterior very poor (scratches/dents) Interior fine.

No great saving here & poor customer service.
Pros: Car was clean. Ready to go.
Cons: Customer service left the counter due to needing to assist garage attendant. Was not apologetic. Offered us an EZ pass and then said they didn't have any. Which is a hassle as we had to pay over $30 cash for tolls. Took 45 minutes before we could get in car.

Pros: car was clean and OK
Cons: More fees were piled on than the original quote... about $20... not a deal breaker but not good. Service in the garage was terrible!! Too few attendants and it wasn't even busy. Not the attendants fault, just not enough of them.

EZ Rent was EASY!
Pros: The waiting line at Boston's Logan Airport was the shortest and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. The rental was ready and waiting........and the drop off at the end of my trip was like pulling into my garage.......no hassle or delay.

Match Your Expectations With E-Z Low Prices
Pros: Price - lowest I could find anywhere online.
Cons: Interior Condition was as expected (clean/good) but Exterior condition of vehicle we rented was the worst I ever rented anywhere from any car rental company. Would suggest that any E-Z Rent-A-Car customer at Boston Airport VERY closely inspect their vehicle for dents, scratches, etc. PRIOR to checking it out. Many car rental companies will offer free upgrade if vehicle selected (Jeep SUV) was not available - not E-Z but they did provide same class/similar. Also, no "wiggle room" for early pickup -we arrived about an hour earlier than scheduled pickup and had to pay $34 for additional time. Finally, I was never asked "are you familiar with this particular vehicle?" (common I think to most rental companies) - it would have been nice to know 3 clicks of lock button are required to LOCK vehicle and if manual shift mode is engaged, pull right shift paddle and HOLD to disengage.

Overall a mediocre experience at best
Pros: I like the price, it beat out most of the other options but not by very much.
Cons: The price wasn't different enough to justify using this service again. The wait was long. Most of the other options now have automated booths and multiple attendants for those who need more than the booth. EZ had one attendant, no booths. The car was not as clean as I'm used to, but still alright. It also had several marks and dings on the outside. That isn't too bad but I don't like needing to document that type of thing. It makes me worried about what will be questioned when I bring the car back. Much easier to just say no dings/dents now, no dings/dents when I bring it back.

A great experience!
Pros: The car was clean, ready, and right! The people were friendly and helpful. The return was fast and efficient. I would rent from them again!
Cons: It was a challenge to find the car pick up location because I was unfamiliar with the airport rental car system. But, Boston Logan is a confusing place to begin with!

I had to rent from Avis- Need Refund
Cons: When I arrived at the booth for my 6am rental no one was there. All other companies had staff present. I waited until 7, still no staff at EZ. I couldn't wait any longer so I had to rent from Avis. Please refund my credit card.

Not a great experience
Pros: Not much
Cons: Price paid was not what was quoted. Counter agent was flip/sarcastic - didn't like that we booked via Kayak or bought third party insurance. We had to actively point out scratches on car - agent seemed bothered by our insisting they check it. Drop off was not great. Agent checked mileage and gas, said "leave it running and receipt will be emailed." Did not review pricing, which was more than quoted. There was a line of at least 7 running cars - waste of gas - and left me unsure that I wouldn't be charged for low gas. Will never rent from Advantage/EZ Rent - nor will I ever use Kayak again. Happy to share my experience with family and friends

Hidden Charges with EZ Car
Pros: The car was brand new, only 100 miles on it!
Cons: The EZ desk is very hard to find at Logan - no signage. It is actually called Advantage. After I was there, the informed me that if I didn't have proof of insurance, I wouldn't have been able to take the car. There should have been notice about this. The add-ons were ridiculous - $28/day for an EZ pass? The wait at the desk was crazy.
