This hotel for the amount I paid was really above my expectations in terms of service. Location is very central to the historic district, entertainment, food shopping. The hotel itself has a rich history and great to wonder through it. Would stay here again.

Samantha was great as we were checking in. We were a little early for check in so she said the hotel would hold our bags while we toured the city. She came through on the promise of a room with a better view. So happy with the room that over looked Kings Chapel and Old City Hall. The hotel is right in the middle of everything, easy walking distance to anything. Beds were comfortable. Room was a little small but wont stop me from staying again. No free WiFi.
Location was close to most points of interest in downtown/waterfront Boston. Large lobby and helpful staff. Clean. Would rather have traded nice large entrance and lobby area for a better room size and traded the standard (double) bed for a queen size. Price for what we received was a little on the expensive side. Hotel claims to be 4 star but it doesn't quite make that level. WiFi should have been included as is becoming standard at hotels of this level
Location is fantastic--easy walking distance to all the places of interest. Hotel is itself a historical landmark. Room was rather small, no free wifi.

The historic beauty of the lobby. Desire queen sized beds. The maid inadvertently picked up my husband's tuxedo shirt when changing the bed linen. Although we reported the loss, no one has contacted us since about ever finding it? A disappointed guest :+(
A friend of mine who lives locally was surprised I booked their since she said it is really "old". She was right. Main lobby carpet needs replacing. Stepped inside the "fine" dining restaurant and noticed a musty smell associated with "old" carpets and drapes.
The staff at the back hotel bar was friendly, excellent and accommodating when the kitchen was about to close in 5 minutes. He even offered to get Guinness on tap from the front bar the Last Hurray. Rooms were clean and they were able to accommodate us with a better view. Bed is comfortable and linens are nice thread count. Decor is classic, wood paneled, gold, red and mustard yellow-- and reminded us of Stephen King's The Shining (where the film was made). Wifi is not included if you book through a third party-- they should change this policy as a courtesy. Drainage in tub was a little slow but this is true of most Boston older buildings.
Although small, the room was comfortable and the shower quite lovely. Plenty of hot water in the morning. A blizzard was expected so I decided to check out a day early, and this was hassle free. I did not ask for the name of the person who helped me with the checkout, but she was very polite and extremely helpful. The door man and valet folks were quick to bring my car and wish me a safe journey. Overall a very pleasant stay and I was able to accomplish that which I was in town for. I found sleep very difficult due to the noise level throughout the first night of my stay, which was a Tuesday. Many drunk people coming to rooms late very loud in the hallway and then one couple in the room next to mine arguing until approximately 4am.
Clean, modern decor, bath utilities were excellent. Parking cost was too much. Should offer a discount on parking for people who are staying at the hotel.
Location is ideal! You can easily walk to all the major attractions in Boston. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room.
I liked the comfort of the bed and the view of the city. I did not like the staff. Bad customer service and do not know how to handle problems in a professional manner. Need more ppl working the front desk, there was a wait to check in.

Nice lobby, but this hotel needs a major amount of work! Problems: 1) TVs are analog, which means there is no resolution at all. Very blurry. Like 1998 TVs. Shocking at a so-called 4-star hotel. 2) Air conditioners that are so loud it sounded like we had a 747 revving outside our room. We couldn't adjust the AC except to two temperatures: 68 and 74. 3) No mirror in the room. 4) No refrigerator or mini-bar in the room. 5) No blow dryer. 6) Waited 15 minutes for an elevator, then couldn't get on it was so crowded. 7) Rude, arrogant staff except for Serena, and the day GM, who tried to help but wasn't around to do much until it was too late. Don't stay here. There is so much better around!
Convenient location, very pretty and clean hotel. We had a nice view of the harbor. We had a four-night stay and had to get new room keys 6 times. Housekeeping did not come to our room the day after our arrival. There is no convenience store in hotel. Otherwise it was a great hotel.

Even under construction, the Revere is a wonderful place to stay. Easy walking distance to Boston Common, Chinatown and the Theater District. The staff were wonderful. Especially Richard Pettiglio, the Concierge, who went well out of his way to make sure our stay was exceptional. My ONLY dislikes were: way too little counter space in the bathroom, and that construction shut down half of the elevators during the peak checkout time. Folks with luggage were waiting for > 20 minutes for room in an elevator. The front desk staff did their best, however were definitely understaffed to handle the checkout volume.
Location in Back Bay only redeeming feature. $110 million redo yet very small, noisy rooms. Family was in town for a wedding. A huge Convention was also at the hotel. Noise, noise , noise! Convention goers on our floor had noisy drunken party. Front desk could not deal with them. Offered us new room locations for following night. Our "new" room had no hot water until maintenance was called. Extremely small queen room. Hallways so wide and high, every voice heard in the room. Plumbing noisy and easy to hear voices in next room. Would never stay here again. Too many other quality hotels in the area. Missed the mark with the redo.

My wife and I stayed for a getaway weekend at the Boston Park Plaza and we had an amazing stay. Arriving into the hotel we were greeted immediately by staff and checkin was quick and effortless. The room was immaculate and the bed was comfortable . Before going out for the night we enjoyed drinks in the hotel bar and the staff was amazing. We would highly recommend this hotel
For one day and night after eye surgery my husband was completely blind. Please give high thanks to the doorman who helped him into the cabs or hotel lobby. After the bandages came off he could again see! Thank you Ma Eye and Ear and Park Plaza Hotel.

The address given to me by the hotel was correct. Tons of hidden fees that are mandatory. Booked a king and was given a queen, with ZERO refund given. Would give this hotel a 0/5 if I could. Slapping travelers with hidden, mandatory fees should be illegal.
Great location Every hotel has a bad room. I got it this time- ripped carpet, stains on the wall, broken furniture, barely warm water, no internet and a $17.00 resort fee. Luxury maybe 15 years ago now very sad.

The proximity to the park was ideal for my 12 year old golden retriever. She loved all the attention she received in the lobby. The staff were very friendly and accommodating even during the holiday crush. Highly recommended.
Location and quality of the hotel. The front desk service was not very good and the valet service was terrible as I had to ask for my car three times and had to wait 35 minutes for it at a time when no one else was waiting for cars to be retrieved.

I believe that, despite relatively high rate, it is excellenty value for money. Amenities and room in general showed great care for guests to feel comfortable and pampered, it has one of the greatest offering for kids I have seen in a hotel and its location is very convenient to reach all key areas around Boston.

Thin walls; heard neighbors
The room was a good size and designed well so it was plenty cozy. The elevators were slow and unreliable and there are apparently not stairs for use. There isn't a ton to do in the immediate area but you are only a couple minutes walk from a lot of the stuff you'd like to see.

The bed was too firm. Had a hard wire around the edge of the mattress. No Iron, No Microwave, No Fridge. The shower was tiny.. really small. Not comfortable at all.

The hotel looked nicer online to be honest. The staff were pretty great. House keeping was really good with fixing the room after i called about the bed being dirty. They left a nice note and some snacks/drinks as well. The TV was really nice. Our room was not very well kept. It was dusty, the bed hadn't been changed I believe, the sheets and pillow case was dirty and hairy, and the bathroom smelled like ciggaretes and was kind of dirty. the room was better than a motel so it wasn't the worst, just a little too pricey for the kind of quality you end up getting.
Receptionist clerks responsive to questions and pleasing traveler. The bathroom shower was excellent. The heating unit in the room was noisy. The breakfast was skimpy; commercial granola bars, oranges, bananas, coffee from machine (all impersonal).

The TV and shower are excellent as is the location of the hotel. Knowing how expensive downtown Boston hotels are, I appreciate being able to stay in the heart of the city at such a low cost. Sadly, the staff isn't very friendly. They always act like they are doing you a favor if asked a question or reporting the elevator malfunctioning!!!!

Rooms were clean, Staff pleasant. Nice gym. Love the security card elevator feature. Should be in all hotels. Elephant castle is always pleasant. I didn't like that my room didn't have an ironing board & safe. In my opinion those two should be a no brainier & standard.
Location, price. The air exchange in my 11th floor room was intermittently noisy. I could not sleep. The staff put me in a different (and slightly larger) room the next day, but were not particularly apologetic. They seemed indifferent.

The location was great especially in proximity to public transportation. The decor was simple and comfortable. The noise coming from the hallway and room next door was somewhat bothersome. The lounge on the groundfloor became a night spot on the weekend and guests are continuing to party going back to their rooms. The acoustics in the lounge were very loud as well.

The location was perfect for seeing almost everything in Boston. You ar eright in the centre of things yet it is not noisy like some hotels right in the hub of town. 2 things - No coffee maker in the room...thankfully coffee shops were close by...and having to pay for Internet in business centre

Comfy beds and clean room located easy walks from Boston Common Faneuil Hall and so much of the tourist stops we wanted to see. Salvatore's was a decent restaurant right across the street. Snooty staff at front desk. Restaurant staff courteous. Not a hotel with a family vibe. It seems more suited for business and conference attendees

The location was great with close proximity to public transportation and that made it easy for us to get around the city. Front desk was able to get us a room with double beds on a busy holiday weekend. 1) Slow elevator to get to lobby 2) Steep valet parking fees 3) Room service did not clean the room on our first day. I am not sure whether it was because of busy holiday weekend.
nothing - pay for internet in a 4* hotel? in every starbucks internet is for free, at least a basic bandwith - rooms are really old, I expected more from the brand hyatt - on 1st day room was not cleaned, only upon call I never ever stay in a Hyatt again

Friendly staff; accommodated a late check out request, but with a fee to be paid. Not an issue. Promised champagne and strawberries for special occasion (but never arrived). Great location. Bellmen were extremely helpful! Front desk staff seemed friendly, but read issues we had. Had there not been any of the issues, this would've been a great stay, I just don't know why there were so many missteps. It was a good stay, if you look at room size, bed comfort, bathroom size and comfort (just don't expect privacy; everyone will know your business in there!), friendliness, location. This should be a phenomenal stay. It has all the makings for it. It must've been a full moon or something that weekend. Was promised champagne and strawberries the first evening, but it didn't come. The next day, the room wasn't cleaned when we arrived back at 11pm, so called to have at least the bed made and fresh towels (they offered a discount on an additional night, which was accepted, though didn't go smoothly at final check out for some reason); also mentioned the missing champagne and strawberries, was told they'd be there the next night, but again no champagne or strawberries when we returned. Ever. Hallway was meeting central at 3am for drunken shenanigans by other guests. Finally, on the fourth day, after returning to the hotel after a long day, the wireless entry failed, so we had to wait to be let into the room. To the front desk's credit, they were going to upgrade us for free on the last night for the inconvenience, but one of us needed to get back into the room because they were flying out in two hours, so that wouldn't work. Was promised an email accounting, even gave email address and was promised in 5-10min; it's now over twelve hours later, and still no receipt in my inbox or spam/junk folder.

Location is great in the center of everything walking distance anywhere to Boston. That breakfast is not included with the price tag of the room breakfast should be complementary. Parking under the hotel should be priced accordingly and have a special pricing for hotel residents.

Location wasn't in the most exciting neighborhood, but it was a cheap and quick cab ride to wherever we wanted to go. Staff was helpful and cheerful. Room was a good size and had everything necessary for a quick stay. Elevators were a bit slow and got backed up during peak times of check-in and departure.
Room was immaculate and newly renovated. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and accommodating for my late check in. I am from the area and stayed overnight to avoid public transit issues on the morning of an important meeting. I would definitely stay there again!
Tasteful and modern décor, beautiful details, friendly staff, comfortable beds, location, complimentary bottles of water TV program transmission quality was spotty. Glass shower screen led to wet bathroom floor and soaking bath mats after every shower. Ice machine hard to locate and not on every floor.
We stayed there 5 days after it opened, the rooms were clean, the lobby was nice, and posh. The beds were very comfortable and the room has Bluetooth Bose speakers as well as smart TVs. They offer room service, but it's from the restaurant next door called Back Deck and the food wasn't just sub-par, it was bad. I ordered a burger that was burnt, it says it comes with french fries but it comes with dry, tasteless, potato wedges. We had our room upgraded to an executive suite, and it was still incredibly small. The staff is new and it is very obvious when you check in. They couldn't find where the card keys were or how to activate them which I would expect to be hotel staff 101. For as nice as the hotel is, there's a definitely a lack of professionalism in the lobby staff. And for whoever posted that there's a welcoming bar in the lobby, it hasn't even been opened yet, so....
Easy check in, impressive room, comfortable and clean. We left our bags after checking out and went out to enjoy the day, came back and retrieved them from the friendly staff later.

Breakfast, decor, location, comfortable bed. Waking up to a 45 degree room and being told that a refund was not possible. They did provide a space heater, but after a few hours it only raised the temperature to 49 degrees. No refund?! The Godfrey said I have to get the refund through the website. I expect a runaround.
Great ,location, layout, quality, and service. Our second stay here and we remain fans of this newer downtown hotel. Comfortable beds, quality fixture, terrific, huge Tv, fast wifi. Haven't tried the food. The bar was nice. Jeez, the standard rooms are tiny with hard to access closet and no side table on one side of the bed. We were offered a larger room for another $40 and should have taken it!
Location was outstanding. The interior of the hotel was impeccable - obviously new. The bed was probably the most luxurious of any hotel bed I have slept in. Bose Bluetooth speaker provided ambiance to the room. Continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Room was a fairly small. Dresser in the hall made for tight passage between the bedroom and the bathroom.

The location First room far to loud (trucks unloading / loading 5 am); second room not so loud, but still noisy. Strange inventory: No hooks to hang coats etc. Only one shelf for shirts in the wardrobe, no other furniture witgh drawers (underware etc.) half of the wardrobe full of ironong board. No hooks to hang bathrobe and bigger towels in the bathroom. small selection at breakfast, every day the same. Loud music allready at breakfast. No bowls for yoghurt and esreal to mix, except small plastic cups. All breakfast cups, spoons etc. plastic (lots of vaste) hardly any tables to eat breakfast (sofas. lounge chairs etc.) Over all feeling like a grown up youth hostel

The Godfrey is very Modern, ideally located and the staff is super friendly. ( Except for the manager on duty when I checked in.) Booked a two bedroom with a third party site,didn't have that option so I called up the hotel to see if there was an option. Was told to just mark in underspecial request and they would have it for me. When I checked in was given a small King size room and says that's what we booked. Told the manager who talked to us what happened and she says we never made the request. I pulled up the reservation on myphone and showed her the request, then she says its first come first serve basis. Only room left for the night was a $80 upgrade was a four class upgrade to a suite which was much bigger and had two TVs, so I took it, had no other option. Walked into the room and if that was a four class upgrade I would hate to see a regular room. Room was very small, only one TV. Don't get me wrong, hotel was very nice. Big screen TV,nice showers and towels, but felt very very very cheated. Along with the $52 for parking it was like spending $600 a night for a small room.......Really??
Loved everything about staying at the Four Seasons Boston. The service was impeccable and they really made us feel "at home." My kids especially loved the welcome wagon and cookies and milk :) The hotel was clean, warm and inviting and I would absolutely stay there again. Highly recommend!
Rooms are classic ritz-carlton comfort and luxury. They forgot to make a dinner reservation I requested at booking and never did anything about it.

Loved the attention to detail liked comped champagne and strawberries for our anniversary, our wedding pic in the room and the free parking we got by using the secret code, currently 'cannonball'. We missed the 5-6 free cocktail hour but were given 2 glasses of wine on check in. Make sure you know the secret code and join their rewards program for perks. Nothing!
Appreciated the glass of wine at check-in and the staff were polite. "Upgraded" room was very tiny and the bathroom shower had mildew and stains. The bed was comfortable until I woke up with a bite mark on my leg and wrist. This place is overpriced and feels like it hasn't been maintained like other hotels. Won't stay here again.

The location of the hotel couldn't be more perfect. Upon arrival the staff was very inviting and accommodating. I was fortunate enough to get a corner room with spectacular views. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and they're dog friendly! If your looking for a great place to stay within walking distance of Fanueil Hall, Nine Zero is the place to stay!

The studio room was ok and nicely furnished It was incredibly noisy, street traffic, garbage trucks, whining and motors running kept you awake from 2.30-5.30am every morning. I am afraid teh hotel was unworkable as a business hotel, and only possible as a holiday hotel if you are a heavy sleeper or a hard drinker so that you could surivive teh noise. I'll never stay again nor would I recommend it. Sorry. Having booked 2 rooms and paid so much a night I was utterly disappointed. Complaining next morning to the front desk about the noise, the receptionist was talking to me and then said "hold on" picked up the phone and started arranging some other booking with the caller. Don't Americans do basic manners anymore? Please note this is not a complaint, it was rude, noisy and expensive.

Fifteen Beacon was beautiful, staff was so helpful and servicing that we felt truly carefree on our vacation to Boston. The rooms were excellently appointed, fashionably contemporary and spacious. We loved the fireplace, the four post bed and the privacy, it was the perfect intimate setting amid the busy Boston city life.
The staff is so engaging and professional but not stuffy or uptight. The food at Moo (hotel restaurant) is unbeatable. You just can't beat the hotel vibe if you like personal service. I prefer more light than dark walls.

The front staff and manager were extremely accomodating after having a 2 hour tiff with the booking company I used (Get a Room, you were terrible). The room was clean and contemporary which me and my guests enjoyed. For the price, it was reasonable due to the location right next to the commons and for a saturday night in Boston. Wifi was free and they had speakers to hook up an iPad to play music. Parking was $50 for valet. ~$40 in the surrounding parking lots for overnight.
The hotel was very luxurious and modern. Room was extremely clean. Overall great experiance. I would recommend this hotel too others. The rooms are a bit pricey.

Wonderful building and facilities. Clean, comfortable. Great location. I have stayed at several Starwood Hotels and usually the W staff is a little bit more hospitable and welcoming. This particular staff was not very welcoming and when I had questions I was met with some interesting attitudes. All in all, great hotel - just think like every hotel somethings can be improved.

Great location and good value. Rooms are quiet and staff is quite helpful. Breakfast is included and quality of the towels, soap, shampoo, etc. is better than in most inexpensive hotels. The rooms are clean and the beds are quite comfortable. The rooms are small. The first time I stayed for one night, I had a tiny, cramped room, but on my second visit for 6 nights, I had a room I would call cozy instead of cramped -- small, but certainly big enough for one person to be comfortable. The space in both rooms could be used more efficiently by adding more shelves in both the rooms and bathrooms, plus replacing desks and dressers with ones that are less deep.

As above it was in an ideal safe location within easy walking distance or transport plus places of interest as well as parklands to enjoy and take time out. I had a single room. The bed was really comfortable and housekeeping staff keep the rooms well aerviced and it is very clean. However, it was a small room with very little room for a large case and I had to keep mine on the floor throughout my 3 day stay. Other than that it was fine but not a room I would want to spend time in during the day as no view due to air conditioner being in the window. However it was quiet at night and easy up sleep. I am gluten free and found very little I could eat from breakfast provided, so would eat breakfast out as more options. I enjoyed my stay and would check in again if ever I was in Bodton in the future. It was value for money and that was important to me. My sincere thanks for a friendly and welcoming and well mannered staff .
It is central and quiet; breakfast is good for European taste, staff helpful. Windows of the room were sealed and I could not stand the noise of air conditioning, but in November it was not a major problem to put it off. I asked a very quiet room and I got it on the back, viewing a brick wall just in front. Remark that "Single Twin Room" meant in my case a tiny room with a large single bed, no cupboard, no chair, a drawer with TV on it.
I was shopping so the room was to small so I left after one night. I had send a package and he never came to me and the did not no anythig about it, but the package did come but never to me (maby stolen)
I enjoyed my stay and thought that the staff was helpful and genuine. My room was small but adequate. My shower took forever to warm up but there was enough hot water once it did.

My room was small, but had everything I needed, even a coffee maker. Breakfast in the morning made life very easy. That I could not open a window.

Staff very friendly
The staff we met were all friendly and helpful. Boston is a very walkable city and the Milner is a well placed starting point for many of the most important attractions. The 'continental' breakfast is appreciated but involves throwing away a lot of plastic packaging etc which is convenient for the hotel but not helpful to the environment.
