Many problems actually, Billing issue at the end, charged 17 dollars for gas. Car was 3/4 full when I got it and full at dropoff. Tire pressure noticefor all 4 tires came on 10 hours after I picked the car up and a few hours later the low oil light came on. Also there was a low intermittant rumble from the front left wheel. 2nd time waiting in a 45-60min line for counter while all other rental companies had no lines. Once at the counter, I was told to wait an additional 30-45min because the car wasn’t ready or clean yet. Then I got the car and it was the wrong vehicle (Toyota Corolla instead of mid size SUV). I was already late for a reservation so I just took what they gave me. Been a long time and loyal member of budget but after my recent two experiences, I’m avoiding Budget/Avis at all costs.Reviewed Mar 14 2026
