Cons: I requested rental from Miami International airport, only to find out on arriving that the rental was from Hiahleah. Had to pay cab $60 to pick up rental.
Was placed on hold for over 25 minutes when I tried to contact them regarding an earlier than planned return. Customer service from 800# also poor. Long hold times

The car smelled like rotten seafood.
Pros: I thought the price was good, service was friendly, pickup and drop off were easy.
Cons: The car smelled like somebody left their seafood in the truck for about a week while it festered. There's no way the cleaning crew didn't smell that when the car came in. I feel like I deserved either an upgrade or an unlimited supply of Febreeze.

Pickup location lacking professionalism
Cons: No one was in the office when we arrived and after waiting awhile we called by phone which finally brought out a man from the back who was busy reading his phone and didn't acknowledge us. We thought he might be another customer until he was joined by a young woman, who took care of our reservation. We were also charged an additional $40 for picking up the car before noon. I didn't feel like arguing the point but all of this might make me reconsider who I use next time.
Pros: the car was okay. We didn't get what we orderd but i guess you guys can't do anything right.
Cons: The lady that helped us with our reservation was extremely rude. She told my uncle to "shut up". She never told us anything regarding car pickup and drop off. We ordered a toll free car but we didn't receive one. We had to pay more than $100 extra because hertz made the mistake. Kayak charged us for the toll free car. At hertz the manager says that's not how it works. We get charged with taxes, tolls and on top of that learn that the airport has 35% tax rate. The rude lady never said that we had to drop the car off at miami lake instead of miami airport although we asked several times. At the airport she acted like she knew nothing and lied about telling my uncle to "shut up". Kayak and hetz are definitely the WORST. Don't even get me started on customer support.
Cons: I booked through a third party site not only did you send me to a location with no cars available the customer service agent was no help at all when she saw she had no cars, I had to go to another location and luckily was assisted.
