Top tips for finding cheap flights to Slovakia

  • Enter your preferred departure airport and travel dates into the search form above to unlock the latest Slovakia flight deals.
  • Flying into Bratislava from the western border of Slovakia will place you on the banks of the Danube, at an ideal location for exploring Slovakia, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Hungary. The Bratislava Airport (BTS) can also be a springboard to cities across Europe, serving as a hub Ryanair, AirExplore, Czech Airlines, Sky Europe, Go2Sky, Slovakian Airlines, Danube Wings, and many more.
  • If you are interested in exploring Eastern Europe, the city Kosice is an ideal destination in Slovakia. Located in the southeastern region of Slovakia, the Kosice International Airport (KSC) offers flights to cities such as Vienna, Dusseldorf, Dublin, Warsaw, London, and others. Furthermore, KSC is situated at the juncture of several main roads that stretch throughout Europe, in all four directions.

  • When booking a flight from Los Angeles to Slovakia through KAYAK, consider landing at the John Paul II Krakow-Balice International Airport (KRK) in Poland, the country that borders northern Slovakia. Tickets from LAX to KRK tend to be much cheaper than tickets to Slovakia.
  • If you want to explore western Slovakia, consider flying into Vienna International Airport (VIE) in Austria. This airport is a little less than an hour from Bratislava on the Slovakian border. Flights to Vienna can be more affordable and often have fewer stops than flights to Bratislava. For example, you can book a flight through KAYAK from Miami, New York, or Los Angeles to Vienna with just one stop in cities such as London, Zurich, or Munich.
  • If you are flying from the US to Slovakia in order to explore the country, consider booking a flight to Budapest, Hungary. This city just south of Slovakia is an hour’s drive to the Slovakian border and airline tickets to the Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD) are often less expensive than tickets to cities in Slovakia.
  • When you are flying from Dallas to Slovakia, you will find a much wider selection of flights, airlines, and airfares when your flight departs from the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). However, make sure to check out flights from Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL) as well. You can sometimes find some good deals on flights from Dallas Love Field into Slovakia.

I am very satisfied for choosing that Airlines! It was my first time but the everything went smoothly! Thank you!

This is truly the worst travel experience of my life. The UK ETA program had a technical failure, and I was stuck in limbo for 24 hours, unable to board my flight and unable to navigate anything in my itinerary. I had to rebook an entirely new flight and I’m now out doubled the money. Unconscionable.

OK, would prefer some meat for dinner, not just pasta although was tasty. There was only one dish, no choices

Flight delayed with no explanation. Boarding was confused (proceed to plane, go back to waiting area).

It was a great experience. The aircraft is a bit dated but other than that it was great.

Last few years I didn't not have great experience with United Airlines.

Booked economy. Seat felt like it was a bit more roomy than my last trans Atlantic flights. I had a nice person sitting next to me. Everything was as good as it could be considering you are 35,000 feet up in the air and in a metal container. Beers, wine, food were all readily available. Plenty of movies and shows to watch. Friendly flight staff

Short flight. Bare bones and kinda seeming like an older plane. But got me there on time and that's what counts. Perfectly fine flight all the way from start to finish.

We were delayed three hours from Montenegro to Vienna on our outbound flight and then rebooked an extra leg on our trip to the US. Our bags, which Austrian made us check in in Montenegro even though the flight was barely half full, didn't find us for ten days. Then, when we asked for compensation for the delay we were given the runaround that the flight originated outside of the EU. Next time we fly Turkish Air.

My Austrian Air flight from Montenegro to Vienna was delayed by three hours because their plane de-icer was broken and they had to wait for the sun to come up before the ice could melt. This meant we missed our United flight altogether. So I can't speak about United, but I was not impressed by Austrian Air. They made us check in two carry on bags for a 60% full flight, and the bags didn't find us in the US for ten days. The re-routing they arranged included an extra leg, a midnight taxi ride across New Jersey and New York, and a five hour sleep in a hotel. Not impressed.

Food seats were good Flight was delayed for over an hour, missed connecting flight, lot automatically rescheduled us to a new flight which was good but lost approximately 4 hours. Not a good way to start a vacation.

Stuck on a plane for 6 hours due to a technical or mechanical issue.

Boarding was a madhouse. Airport staff was completely disinterested in communicating about the delays. Never again.

The seats are very narrow. Communication regarding bids for better seating could be better

During the flight, the fleas biting me in the plane.

The crew and flight were amazing . However , my bag’s locker got broken and no refund provided . Everything else was amazing except this bad incident that ruined my experience

The seats are small and the movie selection was disappointing. However, the food was excellent and the cabin crew was attentive and kind.

Plane is super outdated, seats not that comfortable for business class. Lounge also out dated. They need to catch up to 2024. Don’t think I’d ever fly again.

Aircraft was new. Food so so, especially vegetarian was very disappointing.

Boeng Dreamliner has so tiny seats, so even medium and smaller size people have not enough room to fill comfortable..

The flight attendants are amazing. The plane itself was not in good shape for passenger comfort. A good share of seat reclines were broken so they went back an unlimited amount, which meant the person in front of me was fully in my lap (the crew helped me find another seat but that would not have been possible on a full flight). Moisture from the ventilation was also dripping on me. And the entertainment system is almost impossible to hear.

3hr delay and then missed connecting flight with another 6hr wait at the airport before getting a continuation to my trip, worst trip ever in my 50+years of flight travel

Without a doubt, my “customer service” experience with SWISS was the worst of my life. Multiple disconnections in conversations, very cold and indifferent staff, failure to follow up with promised status updates — simply put, T. H. E. W. O. R. S. T. A full week later, and I am STILL waiting to hear from them. Never again for me with SWISS. Disgraceful.

The flight and all amenities were good to excellent. SWISS was awful to deal with. Every step of the way they nickel and dime you. Chose your seats? $14. Change your seats… No accounting for the prior payment. You get billed again. 17 pound restriction on overhead luggage, nonsense. It’s a weight in the plane whether it’s in the overhead or in check baggage. They just milk you for every cent they can and I resent it. The flight was excellent.

plenty of legspace, snacks, no pull face from flight attendants when asking for a wine. Also fast transfer ability at ZRH.

The flight itself was fine, but due to a snow delay my connection to Lisbon was delayed by six hours. Despite this, Swiss Air still managed to lose my luggage. Not acceptable. Someone else on the flight also lost their luggage.

Bad experience overall. Crew did not provide food for our 2 year old (even though we specifically bought a child infant seat for her and literally bought another full price flight), which was unacceptable. And we had to pay $310 each way to carry our ski equipment even though they advertise it as something that is free. Tickets were purchased the same way as usual, but they told us we had Economy Light tickets (I never elected to have such seats). Just plain manipulation and false advertisment. Very disappointed overall about this airline.

The trip was great until my luggage was lost on transfer from United to Swiss. It took Swiss 3 days to get my luggage to me though it was located almost immediately.

Horrible!! The WiFi was not working, the food was awful

we were late to get to this connecting flight and SWISS decided to wait for us . Very nice of them

It started well but flight was cancelled and they created a nightmare rebooking. It is two days later and we still haven’t reached our destination. I am in Amsterdam waiting on transfer desk to open (later than other airlines) to hopefully get a boarding pass. Once that problem is solved we will just pray this flight isn’t cancelled too.

The flight was cancelled, so why are you asking me how the flight was?

We sat in our seats on the tarmac for almost 3 hours due to storms. They would not give us water or a snack. We were to depart at 7.30 pm and it was about 10.30 when we took off. No dinner until much after that. Beef type noodle dish was terrible with about a teaspoon of beef in it. The breakfast sweet waffle with egg and sausage inside was horrible. An English muffin sandwich would have been much better. Food was the worst in all of our years of traveling the world.

Our screen kept turning off ...3 times...had to get crew attention to turn it on again

They messed up my seat so I didn’t get the one I paid for

Put me on standby; flight was late; missed my connecting flight; disaster

Flight attendants were fine, seats a bit hard but I use a cushion for extra support. The only issue was it was a bit too cool and I needed to ask for and received and extra blanket. I survived!!!

Very few things and/or people are excellent. It was very good.

Extremely uncomfortable seats. Experience was like a Frontier Airlines flight. Would not fly it again.

Very, very tight legroom. They must’ve jammed in an additional few rows of seat seating. Denver to Munich was the least legroom I’ve ever had on any flight, let alone a multi hour international journey. I will not take that flight again.
