I reserved 2 vehicles for pickup at 9AM. I arrived (getting off a cruise ship, time limited) shortly after and was informed they did not have the vehicles available on location. They were waiting for the cars to be delivered to the location and it would be "at least an hour and a half". I had a large group and had to scramble to find another agency with an available vehicle (or two) that would work. In the mean time, I finally heard from Avis at 11:13AM that the vehicles had arrived. It was very frustrating (and expensive) to not have the vehicles from my confirmed reservation available when they should have been. Never again will I trust my travel plans to this PR location of Avis.Reviewed Jan 18 2026

They didn’t have a car for me. The customer service at the station was awful. The young lady at the desk couldn’t have cared less about the fact they had no car, despite me booking one. The main depot didn’t even answer the phone to her so she could get an update. I eventually walked out after I was an hour late after my booking time, with no car. So disgusted. I am an ex Avis employee so it’s even worse!Reviewed Jan 4 2024
