Pros: Dropping the car off was great. Didn't really have to do too much.
Cons: I didn't like the fact that you did not tell me about the deposit. So I had to use a different card to begin with. When I brought the car back we were able to put it on the card I wanted it on, but I had to wait a day to get my money back from the card I used to begin with.

Pros: The car was nice and dropoff was pretty easy and quick
Cons: We waited at least 1 hour to pickup the car. I had to change an appointment because they took so long, and so did several other people in line. There were 2 employees working, and 3 empty computer terminals that could have been used, even though reservations specify when rentals will be picked up. The company knew there would be that many people. Once I completed paperwork I wasn't given any instruction on where to go to find the car, so I had to prompt the employee to tell me what to do. Then I had to ask another employee where I could find the keys to the car. Next time I'll happily pay more to avoid such a pickup mess.

Pros: Drop-off was easy
Cons: Had car for 3 days plus 3 hours. Charged for 4 full days and charged a late fee for being over 3 days. Got them to drop the late fee since they charged me for 4 full days. It was 50% more money than my Kayak booking sheet said.

Pros: I liked the woman at the counter, since we were from out of town, she explained the toll system to us and was very clear about how to avoid getting charged for tolls.
Cons: The maintenance light came on about halfway through our trip. The car had low milage so we assumed that it was for an oil change, but it was disconcerting.

Pros: Camry was great, leaving with car and returning with car easy
Cons: Checking in on 5th floor was the furthest possible away you could be from pick up. Bus from seatac too much waiting between stops

Pros: I liked the car and how simple things were
Cons: When I got there reserved acad similar to camery but they said all they had was a van at no extra charge. There is no way I was taking my clients out to dinner in a mini van, so after a few uncomfortable moments, the gentleman called down to see how long it would be for a mid size, and they had one ready

Pros: Decent car for price, had a handy ice scrapper in trunk. Service friendly. Liked that they allow half tank gas purchase which was all I needed.
Cons: Car was a bit dinged up. 51k miles

Pros: The pickup and drop-off went smoothly. Vehicle ran well.
Cons: The original vehicle was not the 'type' of car that was listed on the website - it was smaller; even the 'upgrade' was small.
The vehicle itself was a typical rental - it had dings and scratches and was the basic no-frills package.
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR VEHICLE FRONT-TO-BACK and fill out the 'vehicle check list'. It was difficult because of the poor lighting in the garage, but write down EVERYTHING.
Unable to accommodate minor change in travel plans
Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: My flight was delayed, so I had to pick up the car at 10PM instead of noon, or even noon the following day (I had agreed to pay the full price). I tried to call the local Avis for three hours the day before to clarify my reservation. Nobody at the local office answered. I called literally 50 times. Nobody at the national office could help. The next morning (still before arriving in the city of the rental) I tried calling again. Finally after 2 hours and 30 attempts the manager finally answered and couldn't help me at all. She had no suggestions and kept saying "it is what it is." This was the worst rental experience of my life. I will never rent from Avis again.
Cons: I didn't know that I had to return it exactly at the time I picked it up. I was told it was to the minute. That added a bit a stress.
When I booked it I didn't know exactly when I would be picking it up so I estimated and I got there early and had to sit and wait until that time or extra fees would have been applied. I think there should be some flexibility.
