Pros: Fast for the most part and car selection was better than I thought it would be
Cons: Made a reservation for 6PM but was told the location closes then and forced me to try and come earlier the day of my reservation. When I was running late, I called and they were extremely difficult in trying to help or offer another solution only letting me know "we close at 6". When I asked why they allowed me to make a reservation for 6 or what do other customers do, it was clear they didn't want to help or accommodate me in anyway and I had to push back my rental time to the following morning instead. This messed up my weekend plans and made me very annoyed and angry. There was no work around offered or any understanding or customer service. The manager who helped me the following day did his best but even he admitted that the situation was not handled well and apologized.

Pros: Customer service was excellent. Picking up/dropping off the car was swift and timely. Staff answered all my questions. After drop off someone drove me to my destination about 7 minutes away, no additional charge. I will be using them again.

Clean car, quick service, reasonable rates
Pros: There was a mistake on my bill and when I called Chris corrected it immediately.
Pros: Car was in great shape asks clean. Employees were friendly.
Cons: Touch screen audio system didn't always respond so I couldn't adjust the radio using the screen.

Customer service was great.
Pros: Customer service.
Cons: You are given two keys. They are connected with a wire and you're told you cannot separate them. What's the point of two keys except as a money maker -- if you lose your keys you get to pay for two.
I rented last month with a friend, two drivers. We each wanted a key and were told we could not separate them.

We love Hertz
Pros: Planned a last minute vacation and picked up at the Teaneck location. While we are Hertz Gold members and frequently rent from Hertz, this was our first time using this location.
The staff at this location is OUTSTANDING. They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best car quickly on a holiday weekend. Everything was seamless. The car ran very well and was very clean. We will definitely be using this location again.
Cons: Online I booked and paid for a luxury car; Lincoln MKX or comparable. I ended up with a Ford Escape because that's all they had. No one told me I was going to be downgraded. That was NOT what I saw online and paid for. I was running late and so there was no more time to go on and on about why I didn't get the car I wanted. They reduced my fee however, that was no the car I asked for.
