Staffing at pickup was inadequate.Cons:We arrived in Nashville about an hour before closing. The gentlemen at the counter was very helpful. He gave us directions to the lot to pickup our car. We walked to the lot and found no one at the kiosk to assist in assigning and locating our car. Another customer and I searched for someone to assist us. Then the employee emerged from inside one of the nearby rental cars as if he'd been sitting or resting inside. We stood and searched for several minutes all the while the employee was less than 100' away. None of the phone numbers I called were operational at that time either.Reviewed Jul 13 2016

Save your self the headache-- splurge on better seCons:Kayak does not have the right taxes and fees listed so when you show up at the airport, there is an additional 13$ for airport fees. Very annoying! in terms of the Dollar check out-- there was a long line at the airport and the agents moved slowly. There was a self-serve kiosk but on my 30-45 min wait online only one person was able to complete a reservation through there so i can only imagine that the kiosk is just as slow as the agents. When I finally got to picking out a car they were out of the size i requested and upgraded me (nice of them) but then the car i picked from the lot had mechanical issues and wasn't supposed to leave the lot. The next car had issues also. finally, on car #3 i was able to leave the lot and be on my way. On returning the car after-hours i called and asked the agent how to go about this return. she told me what to do but did not mention that you had to leave the gas receipt in the car/wtih the agreement. Since i drove <75 miles and did not show proof of filling the gas within 10 miles of return (in case you're wondering, a full tank of gas is NOT proof that you filled up the car) they charged me an extra $14. I had to call to have the charges removed. the agent on the phone was kind and receptive (my guess is i'm not the only one who's had a similar complaint) but still very annoying that I had to go through all of that. I would splurge the extra dollar or two per day on car rental and still to the more reputable rental companies.Reviewed Jun 28 2016

PSA: BNA rentals, go to the Pick Up / Drop Off outPros:Everything but the pickup was excellent. Price was great, car was great, drop-off was great, etc.Cons:Originally the flight was scheduled to land at 10:30 PM but was unfortunately delayed. We called the service line to inform them of this...thinking our flight would land before midnight (the posted closing time). We landed a couple of minutes before midnight and called the service line as soon as we landed. After sitting on hold for a few minutes, we were informed that the location was closed. Despite this, we went to the Rental Car area...the alternative was spending the night in BNA until the 6:00 am opening time. There was no one at the Dollar counter, as expected since they were closed, but we started to ask other rental agents if they had any open rentals...all were sold out. Thankfully, one of the agents was a little more inquisitive and asked if we had any rental and we told them about the Dollar rental we had. He then informed us that Dollar really wasn't closed, we just had to go out of the terminal to the pickup area. So I went to the pickup area and thankfully a man came about 10 minutes later and was able to give me the car so we could continue our journey, rather than sleep in BNA. So in conclusion...and not sure if this is common knowledge...if you have a prior rental agreement with an agency, consider going outside to the pickup area as a last resort.Reviewed Jan 2 2017

Pros:The car was very clean, drop off very smooth and the person working was friendly.Cons:Very long wait to get the car, an hour and a half from landing to driving off airport property. The checkout lady was friendly, but failed to mention extra charges until everything was printed up for me to sign and I’m like what is this extra $60?Reviewed Feb 1 2021

Pros:Pickup staff very helpfulCons:The Nissans lock down themselves with keys in the ignition. There is no note about this in the car. We were locked out fir 1.5 hours and missed our tour. The safety of this is unacceptable if we had a child or pet locked in the car with it running we would have had to break the window. Pros:It was an easy check-in/check-out experience. The car was nice.Cons:We paid for and ordered a Range Rover Discovery (7-seater), but were given the Evoque (5-seater). The car had much less room than we ordered and paid for. We also had to buy and add coolant as it was VERY low and the light came on. The light also came on for low tire pressure so we had to take care of that as well. Then, on the way home the "Service Now" light came on, so it makes me wonder when they checked out the fluid levels, etc. last.Reviewed Feb 7 2021
