Fast and friendly

Pros: Drop off at the airport was quick with a friendly gentleman taking care of everything right away so we could hurry to check-in.
Cons: The cost of booking on Kayak was not what I ended up paying- I paid an additional $15 more (for a 7 hour car rental) and that was after another $20 "discount". The lady at pick up didn't really care about the discrepancy of $35 (not that this breaks the bank but was annoying and again for only a 7 hour same city car rental), it was the nice check out gentleman at the airport that put in the discount (without us even mentioning it again). Also the car smelled of smoke which was kind of gross as non-smokers.

Cons: The main reason I choose Budget was the hatchback Focus. If I wanted any other compact car I could have got it from another car rental for less of Budget's price. Right from the start, I noticed the rear of the car was super dirty as I'm loading my luggages in. So I inspected all around the car and THE WHOLE CAR WAS COMPLETELY DIRTY OUTSIDE. Then I look inside of the car and it was also dirty and some stains on the front seats. I went to the customer service booth , told them about the condition of the car and ask for another Focus. They did not have it and offer me a smaller car, I declined. Told them I specifically rented from them because I want the Focus. They told me they can have the car wash and clean up but it will take up to 1.5 to 2 hrs. I told them I should not have to wait for the car to be wash and clean, it should have been already cleaned and ready for pick up, and I can not wait for that long nor should I have too because I booked this way in advance. I asked for a upgrade multiple times to anything comfortable to the Focus or a size one but they denied me. Short on time, I need to be at a meeting, I end up taking the COMPLETELY DIRTY FOCUS. I AM NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER AT ALL AND IT KIND OF RUINED MY WHOLE WEEKEND. As I PAID CUSTOMER I should not have been treated that way nor should I had to pay to rent a completely dirty car.
