This was our second stay. The decor, atmosphere and location are awesome. Very thin walls. Expect to hear other guests getting back into their rooms at all times of the night and early morning. You can hear every word they say, every door they open and every step they take.
Staff was fantastic. Hotel has a great vibe, great art and great vibe. Highly recommend. My only complaint is the condition of the carpet in the hallway on the Lexington side of the hotel. After we turned the corner, we were a little scared as we headed up that our room would be in similar condition. However, room was great.
Clean and good location. Small, dark room. Unimpressive. Limited outlets. Small window with view of a brick tunnel and beer can. Nothing redeeming. Definitely not with >$200 to stay here. Got a hotel 2 blocks down for half price and much nicer for the remainder of our stay. Did not investigate amenities.

Bedding is fabulous. Staff is friendly. Rooms are decorated in a very modern and fun way. Good location. Fun bar next door with great burgers. Have not tried the restaurant, but the coffee counter is great. Second stay here and would stay again. Insulation is TERRIBLE! On my first stay I could hear footsteps non-stop so this time I requested a top floor room. Although this alleviated the noise above, this time we could hear every word of the neighbors and people in the hall and unfortunately a baby crying woke us up multiple times one night. Next time I will ask for earphones!
Staff was very friendly. Booked a Queen Interior room with no windows. At check-in, the clerk took it upon himself to upgrade us to a Premium King room with two large windows overlooking Tchoupitoulas Street on the front of the hotel. The old coffee warehouse provides a great balance of historic charm with very contemporary decor. Location at the warehouse district is great, being very close to Harrah's and easy walking distance to French Market & Bourbon Street. Best value in New Orleans, without the upgrade! As with most of New Orleans, parking is horrible. Expect to pay $30 for 24 hours in the lot across the street if you can't luck up on one of the few free on-street spaces.
The decor of this place is awesome! It starts with the huge vintage-style lighted sign out front, and everything you see from that point on makes you say, "ooh--look at that!" (in a good way). The gorgeous tile-work on...well, everything, is amazing. And--I wanted to take all of the furniture home with me! The character of this building is something special. You don't complain about the uneven floors because you're staying in an old warehouse! How cool! Exposed brick walls (that aren't fake) are always great--I only wish they had left all of them bare instead of painting some of them. They also had great coffee and blueberry muffins! It was quite warm for this time of year (high 70's in late-November), which of course is nothing new in the south, but the a/c units in the rooms were not so great. Pretty much the same as a window unit-loud, and hard to create an even temp in the room. The ceiling fan was also not great, and that's one thing every bedroom needs in my opinion. The room we had (queen interior deluxe, I think) was pretty small, but we didn't plan to stay inside much anyway. One last thing--watch out for the bed rails! I nailed my shin on the corner of ours three times.

Great location. Had a great stay in 2015. No notice upon arrival or in lobby about renovations. Ongoing construction in suite next door until 6:30PM one night, and non- stop another night - we finally requested to change rooms/floor at 9:30 pm because they would not stop. Intermittent hot water. Fresh paint peeling off the door. Shower rod came down. Our room was not cleaned either day until we requested it upon our return to the room late in the day. Construction workers taking bins of rubbish down the guest elevators; hallways never vacuumed from debris at the end of the day. Staff were indifferent about our circumstances and at times denied what was going on. Wrote a letter to the manager and still have not received any response 5 days later. Very disappointing. Recommend not staying here until construction is complete.

The staff was great especially the bartender Pammy and housekeeping staff. Beautiful old hotel that been kep up to date. Easy walk to the street cars and walk to Bourbon St and close enough for a $10 Uber ride to Magazine Street, uptown etc.

Amazing classic decor. Great location just far enough away from the noise of Bourbon street. Lacking some of the amenities necessary for a longer stay. No mini-fridge, etc. Parking is overpriced.
The front desk staff headed by Shronette Davis is first rate. Their responsiveness to request was quick and the attitude was friendly and nice. We had a problem with our room upon check-in but the staff went out of their way to help remedy the situation. I like the way the shower door opens at the opposite site of the spray head so you don't get the floor wet when getting in The beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast room is lovely and the wait staff extremely efficient. The hotel issued a comp night for the first night mix-up but I had to process it through the booking service through Kiyack. But they haven't returned my calls. The rooms are too small, really for two people, not to mention 3 or 4. The bathroom is very small, with really no place to put the toiletries bags. There are no bath mats so you have to stand on a cold tile floor in your bare feet. The room only has one tiny waste basket in the bathroom. Need more. No way to call housekeeping directly

I thoroughly enjoyed my first trip to New Orleans, and our lodging was a big part of it. The room was clean, very comfortable bed. All of the staff was very helpful, the concierge gave us many tips.
Staff was wonderful, the room was spacious, the bathroom luxurious and the location was excellent for access to French quarter and riverside shopping. Parking is always expensive in New Otleans. The valet staff was very courteous and attentive. They helped to make the sting of the cost bearable.
Overall the room was nice, the staff was friendly, and the building and our room were very clean. We had booked a deluxe king size room and when we got to our room it was two double beds. The woman that checked us in had made no mention of the fact tat it wasn't what we reserved. When we called down to switch they told us there was none available. We had only booked the hotel because we wanted a king or queen size bed and had made the reservation selecting that option 2 hours before arriving.
It would have been helpful to have clear instructions regarding the fact that an airport shuttle should be booked 24 hours in advance. I was not aware and had to order a cab.
We enjoyed staying at the Omni. Very comfortable beds, courteous staff. Hotel is located away from all the hustle and bustle but still within walking distance of everything. There was an outlet center right across the street which was great too.
When we arrived door service was great but the front desk lady was very disrespectful. We arrived a couple hours early before our original check in time at 3 and it seemed like she was bothered by a previous incident. No eye contact and we could barely hear her speak because she spoke so low. The overall stay was mediocre, the last night fire alarms continued to go off through out the night making it extremely hard to get a good rest.

While I was there, the hotel was in the process of converting from a Wyndham to an Omni. There was a lot going on including replacing a lot of bedding and other fixtures in the rooms. There was a little bit of a disarray. By the time I checked out, the conversion it already happened and everything seemed fairly orderly. I would probably stay at the new Omni.
Very convenient location - right across from the Riverwalk and down the street from Harrah's, Fulton Alley, and the Convention Center. Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. Didn't try the restaurant downstairs as my fiance and I were out and about most of the day. I would definitely stay here again! The door to our bathroom was positioned in such a way that there was a huge gap between the wall and the door. When you were taking a shower, steam could escape and if you were in there long enough, the fire alarm would go off. That was a pain, but other than that, it was a wonderful stay!

When you first walk into the Omni Riverfront the lobby is very very upscale with the bar being right there also the staff was excellent with William at the bar and I know I'm going to say her name wrong but we checked in later in the evening and raylon was absolutely the best and we do a fair amount of traveling and she was absolutely friendly and fantastic she almost made me cancel my other reservations for the rest of my stay to stay at the Omni Riverfront they are blessed to have her Everything was perfect
Intercontinental is supposed to be IHG's flagship hotel. During my stay I killed three spiders in the bed. The duvet cover was torn and tattered in multiple places. The carpets were not vacuumed. Someone else's dry-cleaning tags were left on the floor (2). The drinking glass in the bathroom had dried toothpaste stains from someone previously before me. For three days in a row I turned the same drinking glass up thinking that it would be washed and would return to my hotel room to find that it had just been flipped over, uncleaned. The best yet was the last night that I stayed the cleaning staff had left a dust in my room by the door. I guess since they werent cleaning they decided to leave the tools for me do their work. The front desk staff seemed unconcerned about the cleanliness and too busy to give it much thought. Valet also higher than any other hotel in area. Will go back to the Holiday Inn Chateau LeMoyne north of the quarter, always clean in 5+ stays there.
The hotel is newly renovated and totally updated and modern from its previously 80s styling. I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and it was nice before but amazing now. Try a balcony room and go down to one of the bars for a signature New Orleans cocktail. It's 2 blocks from Canal and 3 blocks from Famous Bourbon Street. It's also perfectly located for catching games and events at the super dome. Bout 3-5 blocks. Not a bad walk at all. It's where I stay when I go to watch the Saints

The room was very nice and clean. The bathroom and shower was great especially for New Orleans. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was not included with our room. When my wife called the front desk, they left her with the impression that breakfast was included. We were surprised that it was $27 per person. What a rip off!
We were upgraded as Ambassador members, and the suite was lovely, and ever better than a certain other nearby favorite 5 star hotel in NO. Staff was welcoming and the bedding and bathroom superb. We also like the self parking in the adjacent Pan American parking garage--a NO bargain.
We really loved the room bed and service. The pool was small and dark no sunlight and it was a outside pool that had freezing water. The restaurant connected to the hotel was ok but some of the waitress were really rude and slow we saw 5 family leave during our wait for our drinks. Meanwhile when we got the menus we didn't see anything we wanted so we told the waitress we needed the check. She left and never came back! We had to track her down and talk to her manager to get a check !!!!

Nice interiors and free bottled water. They have good beds though, that was a plus. Very poor facilities, in this day and age, no free wifi is just not OK, its a dealbreaker. Its not like they are not charging enough for the room, plus wifi does not cost a lot anyways! And whats with the $45 valet per night? Do they wash your car and paint it?? We thought it was fleecing as they knew that parking is an issue around that neighborhood. Overall just OK place, not worth the effort to stay here.
I liked how clean and modern it was. It was very expensive for what we got. The only parking they had was valet and it was 47$ a night. After paying 415 for the room seems really steep. We were also really crunched for time Sunday am and had to wait about 20 minutes to get our car which was frustrating. When they tell you to call ten minutes ahead to have your car ready for you.

This trip was my first time to the south, and the staff at Le Meridien were very polite and professional. Everywhere from the bell hop during the day, to the bartender at night, to the front desk reception. The in-room service was excellent, the food and wine hit the spot. The location was a bit farther from the convention center then I anticipated but it was nice to have a little stroll to and from the conference to the hotel. I really like the decor at Le Meridien. The pool and gym were fantastic! I did not like how expensive the in-room service fee is. I was charged $4 fee plus another $10 fee, both labeled as in-room service fee's to order dinner up to my room.

The location was perfect for us. Not too much congestion, but close enough to walk to the French Quarter and other shops. I also like the decor of the hotel and the beds are very comfortable. No fault of the hotel, but at wee hours in the morning, our drunk neighbors were very very loud in the halls and in their rooms. More sound proofing would be greatly appreciated.
I was extremely disappointed in my stay at the W. I will never stay at another W again. It was not worth the 200 I paid per night.

I loved the location - only a block from Harrah's/Poydras, nearby lots of great bars and restaurants. The hotel was really nice and I loved all of the artwork. The room was also very nice. The bellhop broke a $50 bottle of Baileys, so I had to walk about 10 blocks in the heat to purchase another bottle, then had to walk another 10 blocks to my car to get the receipt from the first bottle, then walk all the way back to the hotel. They reimbursed me for both bottles, but it would have been nice if they would have taken care of this in another way. A free meal at Legacy would have made up for their mistake.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean. The hotel is just outside of the french quarter so it's a bit quieter, but still within in walking distance. The window in our room looked out into the center of the hotel which was a bit odd.
Bed was very comfortable. Amenity spaces were clean, large and designed well. Roof top pool!!!! Staff was rude. Having a rooftop pool in itself is amazing, but the area could use some modernization
Clean lobby. Room came with only 2 towels even though we indicated that we would have four people in the room. We had to ask sever times for towels. When we arrived at the room, there was trash in the waste baskets from a previous guest. On the day of our departure, housekeeping rang the doorbell at 8 am to see if we were checking out. The concierge had very few suggestions for rainy day activities.

Overall this hotel was fantastic. The staff was as friendly and helpful as you could ask for. My husband and I were traveling with four children (ages 8,7,6, and 2) and the value was amazing. I never review anything online but the experience was so good I felt it necessary this time. The fact that there were drinks and popcorn in the lobby the entire time was awesome especially with kids. Breakfast was awesome and offered SO much more than normal hotels do. Plus the "kickback" at 5:30 was our dinner each night. I know for some it might not be their ideal dinner if they are on vacation but traveling with the kids we didn't want to have to go out and the "kickback" offered enough options for everyone to have a full meal. We don't really drink but if you add breakfast, dinner, popcorn as a snack, unlimited soft drinks, and the 3 free "alcoholic beverages" up the value was amazing. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. The rooms were clean and comfortable also. Just a great stay all around. The only complaint I had was that we had pre-paid for the room and when we got there they asked for the card we had used to book the room so they could swipe it. Then when we were checking out I went to check out and pay for the valet ($25 a day and the only option so budget for that as well) and they said it had already been charged to my card. I had no intention of paying for the valet on that card so it bothered me that they charged it and hadn't told us that they were doing it. I do believe that it was a simple misunderstanding though and not dishonest or anything.
Pool, bar, restaurant, minibar, room service and location were great. Our flight arrived early, around 1:00 so we checked in with the front desk, knowing our room probly wouldn't be ready. They checked us in, stowed our bags and got our number and said they would call when our room was ready. By 4:15 when we hadn't heard anything we headed back to see what was up. The front desk had just forgotten to call us...so went ahead and told us our room was ready and gave us a key. The hotel lobby/bar is so beautifully done. And then we got to our room... The Art Deco lighting, while cool in theory doesn't nearly shed enough light in the very dark rooms. Especially since one nightstand was missing it's lamp all together and the over head lighting fixture was only partially working. In addition the very heavy doors close behind you automatically and do not have a "soft close" feature so doors are constantly slamming up and down the hallway which is incredibly loud, especially while trying to sleep. To add to the discomfort neither the beds nor pillows were particularly comfortable. This was our first getaway without our baby and even as sleep deprived parents of a six month old... we weren't able to get a good nights sleep. This wasn't helped by the visit from housekeeping at 8:00am on the day of check out nor the 2 subsequent visits by staff to see if our room was empty all before 9:45am. Not quite as bothersome but still disappointing were stains on the bathroom linens, only one robe in the closet, and the cable box dangling from the tv that was mounted to the wall. There is a fine line when decorating with a minimalist aesthetic and unfortunately without proper upkeep the room just looked bare and run down. Not good for a hotel less than a year old. Lastly, and this is more of a design flaw, in my opinion, the beautiful large window in our room had 2 shade options 1) a sunscreen that offered a light filter from outdoor light and 2) full shutters that can either be open fully or closed fully. If you open them partially, the light that comes through shines directly on the pillows, so right in your face, and fully closed you are in a tomb, which is great if you want that...but good luck getting to the bathroom because it is pitch black. No small illumination option in the bathroom to light your way. Oh and the bathroom... no vent or fan in the room or bathroom, so if someone goes to the bathroom and you don't want to smell it, you pretty much just have to leave the room. No matches, either. (Sorry probably too much information, but...a real issue!) Also, the water pressure and temp were set so low after showering I contemplated waiting until I got home to avoid having to take another Luke warm shower. I hate writing this! I'm not a complainer, just honstly beside myself with this experience. I historically love Ace Hotels and have stayed at several of their properties and have great experiences, which is why I booked the room here for our New Orleans getaway. So disappointing, hope they improve.
I used to live down the street. The Hotel is in a great location, close to lots of great restaurants, and close to many businesses. I was excited to stay here as they have live music every night, a good restaurant, and lots of young people hanging out. I believe the Hotel went way too far when trying to be 'hip'. 1. Upon check in the front desk attendant was not polite, sighed ignored my request twice when I asked for the corporate rate then made me wait 5+ minutes while she waited to ask her manager (I told her to ask him when he was free and get back to me - this never happened). 2. The hotel room AC only goes down to 68F which felt much more like 75F when trying to sleep. I have seen other reviews which also mentioned the same thing. 3. Each time I valeted my car (with a standard transmission) it took the valet over 15 minutes to retrieve it. Upon check out, the valet showed up in my car with it stinking of burning clutch. I noticed a new dent in the door, and pointed it out to the valet at which point he shook my hand and said "I never drove a manual before and I just taught myself how to on your car. Thanks so much."
Overall it was a good experience. The room was 45 minutes late being prepared for us and it mad us a little late getting to a meeting place for our party.

Hotel had a great ambiance. We stayed in room 712. It was smallish but very clean, both the room and bathroom were the perfect size for two people. The bed was comfortable, charging stations and room amenities were spot on. Breakfast was delicious and the location to everything was fantastic!

We got free drinks at their bar because they overbooked by ~70 rooms (their staff had mentioned this to us). They also comped our parking. Outside of that it was a struggle. They overbooked by 70 rooms, didn't call us before hand to help us find a solution. Meaning upon arrival we were told they were overbooked and we would be given a room far from the city. Getting them to transfer funds was a pain, had to go through our 3rd party site, also having them comp us for the price difference in hotels was only completed after I froze a portion of my credit card payment, they did not volunteer the funds. If you're going for a conference BOOK EARLY! We booked 3 months out and still had issues (as did many hotels in the area).

Even though the room and bathroom were small it was lovely. I want a a bedroom like this at home. Bathroom was pretty. Bed was comfy and thank you for once more than plenty pillows. 3 per person. Only complaint was it would have been nice to have the glass for the shower go farther and close with a door. Water sprayed out of the shower a tad. I think if the shower head was more adjustable that would be solved. Despite this, I'd come back.
My friend and I were staying here for a conference (at a nearby hotel). It was a beautiful hotel very chic and stylish. It was well placed to walk to the French Quarter and many other points of interest. Staff was very kind, hospitable and helpful, especially Michael. We would definitely stay there again! No cold water from the tap in our room.
It was new and clean. Good facilities. Staff were friendly. The rooms had no black Tea bags(only coffee). Since these are suites with kitchenette, it would be nice if there a few utencils or atleast some plastic spoons, forks and knives.

There were a few service issues that could be addressed: faucet for sink was backwards. Shower pressure could not be adjusted. Closet door was very sticky and required much effort to open and close.
We stayed here this past Sunday (March 2) just for one night. The rooms themselves were great - nice and clean with comfortable beds. They had fridges in the rooms which was great and a very nice pool/spa. The customer service was awful. When we arrived (about 10 AM) we could not even park at the hotel and the valet was extremely rude. Two people were in the process of getting their cars back so I asked if we could take their spots (there was no one else around the hotel lobby or valet area). The valet told me no and that it would be 2 hours before I could park. I asked what I was supposed to do with my car and he rudely replied that he didn't know and that check in was at three. I continued to ask why I couldn't take the new spots for the people leaving and he replied "Check in is at 3 PM, is that fair?". Once again in a very rude tone. I did not appreciate how I was being treated as a customer. I realize this is a busy time for New Orleans, but I felt that I didn't deserve his short temper or rude behavior. I still don't understand why we couldn't park where the cars were being moved from.
Location, Value, Staff. We walked to the Riverwalk Outlets, Dragos, Harrahs Casino, Aquarium. We got a cab ride to the French Quarter and Bourbon St. The hotel was very clean and the suite was very spacious with 2 TV's. I loved the rich history of the building. It was originally a bank and still has the vault, teller service windows, etc on the lobby. VERY noisy. I could hear a lot of hallway noise. Also, it may have just been the night we stayed (Thursday) but at 4:30 AM the city came down Poydras to empty the dumpsters (very loud) and it woke the toddler (sigh). That can possibly be chalked up to wrong place, wrong time but just be aware if you're staying on a Thursday night. Parking was too expensive but to be fair that's ALL hotels in the area. The hotel was once a bank so there are very few (if any) extras...no roomservice, no spa, etc.

The staff was absolutely amazing. The location wasn't bad. Nothing special, but not bad. The rooms were TINY. The furniture in the rooms were pretty chewed up. There really weren't any extra amenities. It's expensive for what you get. For about $10 more, you can get a bigger room at a hotel that is closer to the French Quarter. Yeah, the staff was great, but I don't pay extra for helpful staff.
Clean and comfortable room that was a great value for the money.
Decent location, clean, nice bathrooms. Of the three prepaid rooms our group booked far in advance, only two were available and there was no roll-away bed available for the room in which three people were staying. One couple in our group had to take a taxi across town after about 20-30 minutes of searching for an open room. One person in the room sans roll-away bed had to sleep on the floor. The following day, another room was made available, however, no one from the hotel informed the group in the room without the roll-away that they needed to more their belongings until after everyone was out and about for the day. The hotel called us throughout the day, interrupting our plans. The manager was very rude and didn't seem to understand that the hotel was interfering with plans made months in advance. Eventually, we were bothered so constantly that some members of the group returned to resolve the situation in person. Overall a very bad experience. I have traveled quite a bit, and my experience at this hotel is the worst that comes to mind.
The rooms were nice, nothy fancy, but nice. We were upgraded to a top level suite, a great surprise. Perfect location. Easy for Uber and taxis, but a few blocks out of the zoo of the French Quarter. There is potential if they redo the bar and restaurant to a more lively spot.

The architecture, design, choice of furnishings and keeping the existing bank for a backdrop is a nice touch. The room (610) was quite nice and comfortable. The staff were all very professional but Jo Ann in the bar was wonderful. The only improvement possible would be the in-hotel restaurant. To be quite frank, the quality was not so good and the portions small when compared to every other place we dined in and around the French Quarter of equal or lesser price. Your meal pricing (we first tried breakfast and then stopped-) was also at the top of the cost range we experienced in and outside the French Quarter. Had the quality and quantity been better we would have happily spent more time in your restaurant. In our opinion, correct this and you'll have the perfect hotel.

the value and location was good. the bedding was real nice. i reported to embassy suites and the front desk that i found that my dresser/tv stand in my room was covered in mold. when i reported it to the front desk , the person there just brushed it off and didnt show any concern.
The room after we got the one that we asked in our reservation. The first room that they gave us was a single full bed. We requested double bed and they told us that Booking.com only get what is left not what you ask for. This room was too small in comparison with the Suites at Embassy Suite Hotels. The poor security at The Loft. There is not available any person at all in the front desk or entrance door.

The Valet Parking Experience was easy and the staff for valet was Great !My vehicle was ready when I needed and no questions. Unfortunate that the Lofts is a completely separate building and required a bit of a walk.

My older kids,, 24 and 19 joined me for Thanksgiving in New Orleans. The hotel was a great part of a great trip. The rooms were confortable, the lobby great and the free breakfast was fantastic. Would highly reccomend this hotel!
