There was no one working at the desk. The employee at the Budget rental car desk told me the listing that I booked was not real and there were no cars available through Payless. I would like to be reimbursed for the car insurance that I purchased on the rental car through rental cover.comReviewed Feb 28 2026

Payless does not even operate out if that location. When I spoke to customer service on the phone they had no idea. I got to the rental location and end up being stranded there with no vehicle as the actual rental companies that operate out of the Pittsburgh airport were already sold out of cars. It seems that Payless created a bogus rental reservation for me for that location. When I told customer service they said that my reservation could be picked up from Avis, however avis said that was not true, they had nothing in there system, and they were sold out of cars already anyway. This situation caused me to be stranded in the city of Pittsburgh.Reviewed Feb 26 2026

It’s been closed for 5 years. I made a reservation for my wife on kayak. When she got to the airport, she found out Payless has been closed for 5 years at that location. Luckily budget had a car. You need to update your system. This should never happen. She was almost stranded in Pittsburgh. Unacceptable.Reviewed Feb 25 2026

Customer service was poor. they were not rude but they we no helpful. The advertized rate was $11 per day but with their add ons of all the daily fees, it was almost $40 per day. I only kept the car for 2 days. It was to be 2 weeks at 641 total but they charged me $241 for only two days and no one answers the phone there to give me a breakdown.Reviewed Feb 9 2026
