Below of any European low cost carriers. No food available for purchase, which surprised everyone as this was a 3:40 flight.
Everything was fine. No complaints. It would have been nice to get a drink w the flight. Also I would have liked notice that no meals were included beforehand.
They charged us 100 Euro per bag on the return leg with no explanation.
Flight wasn’t full so got to stretch out and sleep.
Boarding was delayed. Then when we queued, it took us to another long line to stand in. Flight had 0 entertainment. Not even a magazine. But they had a free meal and it was good!
Reasonably comfortable. We were about an half an hour late. But no personal impact. Seats upfront have a good amount of recline, but do not lay down flat. Food and drink can be improved. There are no soft drinks available on the flights. Water, juices, and wines are provisioned.
This was a long flight - 6 hours - and nothing is truly comfortable for that long... but the flight crew was friendly and attentive. The airport in the Azores is small but we weren't there long enough to explore any amenities.
There is one flight a day and it was canceled with no explanation
Flight was ok. Food on way there great a pork dish way back tuna and pasta was not good. Flight attendants were great. Wish they had more soda options like ginger ale seltzer water. Good experience overall. Worst part of trip was car rental Klass company car broke down we were on side of road late night 4 hours awful awful experience all they wanted was 500 euros for help to come absolutely horrible experience we were scared side of highway they offered zero help!
More space between seats and in bathroom. I don’t think there was any entertainment offered. If there was, I wasn’t aware.
Waited in line for hours just to get a boarding pass which would not print at the kiosk or load on my iPhone. Waiting again for about 45 minutes to get through passport control. Poorly managed airport. The flight and crew were great and the flight was very comfortable.
The food was dry and tasteless. Boarding process was ridiculous. Lounge is Lisbon was of very poor quality. The website is nearly unusable. Customer service was challenging. This was my first transatlantic business class flight with TAP. There will not be another.
Disappointing Compared to other airlines , this one was the most expensive. But not even close, in getting what you paid for.
TAP canceled connection and we had to wait 15 hours for another flight to Milan. There were plenty of. Seats on earlier but because we were Excellence Class the would not let us downgrade which we were willing to. Don’t understand their logic? Plenty of seats but we couldn’t / they wouldn’t make the change.
We were delayed and they didn’t tell us why. There was no AC while we were on board waiting and it was very hot. We were in the last row and there was no window. We had a connecting international flight at JFK in a different terminal and the flight crew did not request passengers to let connecting flights off first and we almost missed our flight.

This was one of the worst flights I have ever taken in my entire life. First of all, I traveled Economy, but the seats were TINY and cramped. Not just for me; everyone around me was complaining of the same thing and said they could not get comfortable. Then there was the issue of the heat. For whatever reason the heat on the plane must have been turned to FULL BLAST, because even at 30,000 feet, it was SWEALTERING. Everyone was drench in sweat. Then, they were SO STINGY with the amount of drink they would give you. If you asked for water, it was in a tiny, paper cup (think bathroom cup) and they only filled it 3/4s of the way as if the cost came right out of the pockets of the air stewards. Everything was a money grab, you could tell! You had to pay for the WiFi, which was garbage slow, and the onboard entertainment was limited and stale. If I EVER fly TAP again, it will not be Economy class. What a disaster!

Everything was good with Tap Air Portugal. It was Logan Airport that was a problem. The fuel system was down and delayed my 10:40 boarding. I wasn't able to board my flight until 2:00 am...after that my flights were great.
Not have my bag forced to be checked when I had a carry on included on my ticket. Staff was very rude to me for asking why they were doing this. I was told there was no more room for carry ons but there was plenty of space in the overhead compartments
The crew was excellent. What I did not enjoy was the food. I have taken many international flights and this was on the low end. Otherwise the trip was fine.
