Pros: Good new Hyundai.
Cons: Delivered in La Guardia, as reserved but nobody in Alamo explained that the location at La Guardia was not in the airport, and no one in the airport new that Alamo existed, much less where. Hertz and Avis are in the airport. Allmost lost my flight out.

Pros: Great car, fast pickup and return
Cons: Alamo insisted I needed extra insurance, I would like to know this beforehand

Pros: We had problems with the car we rented. The manager at the facility where we rented did a great job of dealing with the issue. Alamo's road service, however, did a miserable job. They sent us to a rental facility where we could supposedly exchange the car for one that was working properly. When we got there, we discovered that the location had no vehicles available, You would think Alamo road service personnel would have checked before sending us there.

Shady change of rates
Pros: Kiosk were user friendly. National Staff at the airport location offered good service. Car was in great condition. Customer service agent that I got when calling to complain was courteous and helpful.
Cons: I called to extend my rental. Then an hour later I called to cancel the extension. When I returned the car, my original reservation rental rate was raised by almost double. Luckily when I called customer service the next day the agent credit me for the overage. It was definitely very messed up on their part. I would of NEVER rented from them again if that charge was not reversed to the original contract. Especially because I returned the car at the time as the original contract. My reservation changes agent was terrible for raising my rate and not caring about being helpful. Also their customer service wait was pretty long.
