Quick and painless
Pros: Price was great
Cons: The clarity of the third party rental insurance. Should have been more clear that it was not full coverage.

Great Customer Service
Pros: Great service at the airport. I was out of in under 10 minutes...that is amazing for a family of 4!

Pros: The vehicle was good, and the location is easy to find
Cons: The pickup and drop off process wan't professional. During pickup, the agent was eating a chocolate bar while handling my id and credit card and the entire process. During drop off there was only one employee working and a lot of people picking up and dropping off. It could be a better experience with training.

Booked for $162, charged $500 for ONE DAY RENTAL
Pros: The vehicle itself was very nice but I had to wait for hours to get any car. That process was a complete nightmare. The enterprise staff were doing their best, though.
Cons: I booked to have a car at the airport but instead was booked at a location in the city. It was a huge amount of trouble to get there from the airport, believe it or not, and even the taxi driver couldn't find the location.

Pros: The convenience of near ewr was attractive, The rate was definitely very good for a minivan
Cons: Did not like the limited mileage Hence I did not rent the minivan again from Enterprise I made other arrangenents

Cons: Power port didn't work. Company was totally anal about scratches on outside of car. Seemed to be looking for any reason to add damages charge to rental.

Cons: We got overcharge almost $200 of fees because the Entreprise representative instead of telling us that we were in the wrong location made a new contract without telling us and did not honored our reservation at all Result instead of paying $239.16 all charges included we end up paying $423.16 Shady people Would never go with this company again

I was not given the correct rental.
Pros: I was given a free upgrade.
Cons: In the enterprise reps trying to act like they give such great customer service, they forgot to give me a toll paypass. I didn't realize until I was halfway home that my plates were not being read at the tolls. The enterprise rep had given me her card, I emailed her that I did not want to incur any charges for not having a pay pass, she never responded. Now I have to call them and I don't live in the US, to try and make sure I don't pay for their foolish mistake.

Pros: enterprise people were excellent and very personable and flexible. Thought the customer service was excellent and would go back after that experience -- has been a long time since I used Enterprise

Great car. Great service.
Pros: The staff were friendly and efficient. We were in and out in just a few minutes. They gave us a free upgrade because the original car we booked wasn't yet ready. Right outside the door of Newark Penn Station.

Pros: Friendly staff. Generally clean cars.
Cons: I was picking up 30min early. Without saying anything they tried to charge me extra for it at pick up. Very slimy practice and turned me off from the entire experience. If I hadn't noticed I would have gotten charged more. I was renting for a day (24 hours), so I just returned 30min early. Overall, very slimy practice/policy they started.

Fast, friendly and fair
Pros: I rented from Hertz out of Newark a couple of months ago and had a terrible experience so went with Enterprise this time around. What a difference!! It was easy to get my car, the staff were knowledgeable and helpful. I had three heavy suitcases, which the gentleman who showed me to my car lifted into the car for me.

Pros: Sales management trainee Julien was so friendly and helpful. Really represented the brand values.
Cons: Employees checking car back in were not friendly or attentive. They chatted amongst themselves with their phones out while I waited for several minutes with the car door open.

Pros: Had to change plans last minute because we got bumped from our flight and flew to a different airport. Call and within 5 minutes had another reservation. Received great personal service and drop off was less than 5 minutes. Will certainly rent again from Enterprise.

Pros: Jennifer, the young lady who received me at the time I was picking up the car made a great impression and was really helpful and professional. I rented from many others locations in recent months and she made this really unique. Working in hospitality, I can tell she knows how to relate to the client which is important.

Inexpensive One way rental
Pros: We were able to pick our auto from a good selection, including the new Escape we chose for gas economy. Friendly, efficient staff and nice ride for the dollars: half the competition. I particularly like the offers of extras on the website and the easy way to accept or decline them. Tank of gas option and EZPass were both money savers for us.
Cons: We had to rent from Newark airport as the price was double at all non-airport agencies.

Pros: We didn't even pick up the car because they messed up our pickup time and then tried to charge us $200 and change our pickup location in order to "accommodate" us.

Great service and people
Pros: I rented from the Newark, NJ branch on Washington Street. They were great. Super friendly and accommodating. I wish every car rental branch was this nice!
