Pros: I did not like the experience.
Cons: The building was dirty and small with a long wait and only one attendant working. They claimed that I did not book a midsize suv when I got to the counter even though my reservation very clearly stated that. I was therefore unable to get the car I booked and ended with a tiny traverse. I couldn’t get the booking company on the phone to check what was going on, and the whole process was very off putting. With each customer, I could tell they were trying to upsell their insurance coverage and other items. Even when I went to return the car, it took entirely too long. I will NEVER rent this way again. I was very disappointed.
Pros: It was the worst car rental experience of my life
Cons: The vehicle originally provided was extremely old and worn, and wreaked of smoke. I asked for a different vehicle, and instead of upgrading for free, they charged me an upgrade fee. It took two hours to complete the process. I tried to call customer service, but all of the numbers are invalid. Upon return, the associate was sitting on his cell phone and told me I had to wait for him to do a car inspection just in case I “totaled the vehicle”. He said they were going to charge me for low tire pressure, but after the inspection, changed his mind. I will never rent from Easirent again
Pros: The staff was very courteous!
Cons: The check in process lengthy- there were only 2 representatives for 2 companies and the line was about 8 people deep but each person took 10 minutes.
Pros: Drop off OK; receiving staff pleasant.
Cons: Horribly slow pickup. One hour in line. One attendant covering everything, even washing car for each customer.
Pros: Affordable rental car
Cons: They didn’t inform me that I need to vacuum first before return the rental car. They need to inform me before.
Pros: See my review on Yelp.
Cons: See my review on Yelp.
Cons: I read the other terrible reviews, but the rates were so cheap and I thought I was prepared for any of their games to get more money out of me - had my proof of insurance ready, major credit card, etc. I was wrong. The guy at the counter asks me where I'm going and I tell him - which was out of state. So he pulls out a chart with the nearest 8 states on it and a charge - per day - for going to that state. It was an additional $70 per day added to an $18 per day (taxes included) rental. I sure wasn't going to pay almost $90 per day for what was likely going to be an otherwise mediocre experience at best. I said no way. He asked me what I would be willing to pay, and I told him $60 total - figuring I'd pay close to that for a good car somewhere else and I was just looking to get it done. We didn't really negotiate any further. He said that wasn't enough for all the miles I would be driving - and I told him that was the business he was in and left. Thank goodness this hole of a place is near the airport. Flash forward 15 mins and I'm driving away in a 2020 Infiniti Q50 for half of what "Easirent" wanted from the company that picks you up. Should be called "Difficult Rent." Learned my lesson. Never again.
Cons: Customer service I was overwhelmed. Make sure you have your insurance card with you. If you don't it will cost you $$$$$$$ Schedule plenty of time for pickup and drop-off as there is limited customer service
Pros: The cashier /customer service rep was friendly.
Cons: The pick up process is very slow and inefficient. They have a very limited number of cars so you may not receive your requested size. It could have been cheaper. They only have unlimited miles if you are flying in or out. Local rentals only 150 miles per day.
Pros: Drop-off was easy.
Cons: *Having the car I booked *Having a reasonable alternative for a car *Waiting less than 1 1/2 hours *Having a manager on-site
Pros: Not much...
Cons: We had to wait several hours because they overbooked the cars. When we finally got a car it was filthy! We had to go vacuum out a ton of dirt and dog hair. The seats had cig burns on them... on top of all that we had a low tire. We told the gentlemen before even leaving that the tire was low. He told us it would be a while before he was able to fill it up... so we said we could do it ourselves. Every morning, the tire was low... so we had to find a gas station and put air in the tire. There was no windshield wiper fluid so driving through Florida with all the bugs was a blast... we had to stop and buy fluid. The car ran great, but it was poor service and the cars appearance and readiness was junk.
Cons: They need to have the staff upfront be courteous and respectful to their customers. The girl at the front desk was rude. She also seemed to threaten us with getting extra tire coverage which we’d never heard of. She told us we better pay $ 5.99 a day because people have been getting stuck with ‘bad tires’...if you are renting a car everything should be in good order. The shuttle drivers also need to be trained better. The departure shuttle driver did not help us with our bags getting them into the shuttle (we are in our 60s.). He sat eating watching us load up our stuff. The return driver was very helpful, a shining light in Easirent.
