I liked that it was close to the Moulin Rouge and the metro. The cleaners came up to the rooms very early even on a sunday. The shower room was right outside our room and the door banged every time somebody went it, not convenient when people are showering at 6 am.
perfect location, just a few metres from metro station 'Anvers' (blue line). Nice staff people, some a little less experienced than others, but all were friendly and speaking english and french (whichever you perfer). The room we had was cleaned every day, the room itself was cosy but small, just a bed, and a (good!) bathroom with a bath. I guess you cannot expect a bigger room for this price that has a bath. Our room was a new one, and this made for a very clean, organized, and well kept space. No.
Front desk staff very helpful Check in is late afternoon, but they will let you check in earlier if you ask!
Very friendly helpful staff Plaster was peeling off the wall in the bathroom because it had no ventilation. There was no working light over the washbasin because the socket was broken. There was no plug in the washbasin. There were 2 lights in the bedroom which gave very poor lighting and there were no individual bedside lights. The walls in the bedroom were very dirty. The vending machines on the ground floor containing hot and cold drinks and snacks were both out of order.
interesting location, close to metro station check in at 15:00 is very late
Very friendly staff. Only one block walk to the metro made it very convinient to arrive at the airport.
The hotel has an excellent location in the center of town, right on Montrartre. Employees were kind. Pokoje byly dostačující, denně vyměněny ručníky. Snídaně byly velmi dobré. The only thing that bothered me: dirty bathroom and not vacuumed up. :-(
the location was good. very close to the metro station, cafes, and bars. they should definitly change the carpets, bed covers, curtains and paint the walls which were full of stains.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and so was the wc. The hotel was situated at a very convienient place near the station Paris Nord. It is for sure value for our money!!!!! Not Aplicable
Clean , modern good location
Room was great, staff was great While we could see the Moulin Rougue from our place, the location isn't the nicest considering all the shops around it.
Hotel was clean and staff pleasant. Breakfasts were very good value for money. The location.
The room was comfortable and cosy because of nicely selected colors and materials. For Paris and the price it was quite large. Nice and clean bathroom. Our room was noisy because of the thin door towards the corridor. There was no cupboard or shelf to put clothes
The location is amazing - after viewing so much of paris - returning to blanche/pigalle is like beginning a new party but the hotel is soundproof so is up to you whether you want to continue or go to sleep. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy but very small - just the space for queen bed and two little side walks to get in it. The bathroom is the same as a big rainforest shower takes up a lot of space but to be honest it's worthed.
The atmosphere of the hotel No
The staff was excellent - very friendly and good restaurant recommendations in the area. The rooms were clean and the showers were awesome. There is a strange odor in the elevator.
minimalist design, spacious room, good location, excellent customer service lack of fridge and coffee making facilities - shower's a bit messy
.Large bath tub. Upgraded us to a larger room for free. Area was sketchy. Bathtub no shower. Wifi wasn't great. Large room wasn't really big.
Location, cleanliness Our room opened onto the dining room so was noisy in the morning
Resteraunt and church up the hill Lack of help with resteraunts from staff
They were very polite and helpful getting us checked into the hotel. When I asked for ice chips for an ice bag (for a couple of knee injuries), they powered their ice-maker on and loaned us a couple gel packs while it came up to speed. Their breakfast offerings were diverse: bread with meat and cheese, nutella, or butter and jam, yogurt, cold cereal, fruit, and two automatic espresso machines or juice and milk to drink. When we were running late returning to the hotel, we called and they said it was no problem, just to ring at the door and the night clerk would let us in. It was that easy. Every time I talked to the night clerk (on midnight ice-pack refill runs), he was very enthusiastic and friendly. In fact, all of their staff were very kind and helpful (like when the A/C unit got stuck on heat--it was fixed very quickly and remotely from the front desk). It was noisy at night from the other guests, and the bathroom may have needed some attention to get rid of a vinegar-like odor of mold or mildew. Airing it out helped, but it was noticeable.
nothing towel in the bath room on mini bar
The location was good and close to many bars/restaurants and in easy reach of the metro. We didn't like the fact that with one of the rooms that we had, if we left curtains/the window open, we looked directly into other people's rooms and vice versa so not particularly private. Also having booked breakfast our first morning, there was not enough room to sit all of the people that required breakfast and the selection was poor for 7 euros per person
Proximity to trains, Moulin Rouge, nightlife. the mattress was saggy. The room had some unfinished repair work, but probably a timing issue I would hope. Ran out of croissants with an hour to go of breakfast.
The staff was quite nice, and was very helpful. Also, the area was perfect for going out at night. The bedroom blankets were covered in hair from past guests- not the cleanest thing i've ever seen.
The location was very central, close to the tube and Montmartre The sheets were dirty, and so were the blankets. A live caterpillare was crawling in between the bedsheets..The shower in the bathroom was not working properly.
Convenient location near centre of Paris and Metro station. Balcony overlooking street. Breakfast included. Staff were helpful and friendly. We booked and paid for room for five and were initially given a room for four. There weren't enough towels in the room. The shower head would not stay in position while showering. Beds were squeezed into room with very little free floor space. Minimal cupboard and storage space. No tea making facilities in room. The corridor outside our room was very noisy. Little variety at breakfast. Breakfast was served in a tiny little room which got very crowded at busy times. Wireless internet was unreliable as their computer hardware is not made for the job. Location is near a red light district with lots of "alternative entertainment".
It's quite good hoyel for its cheep enough price. Locatiton is near the metro station. Good hotel for thise who arrived in Paris to spend all the day in this fantastic city and need hotel only for sleeping. Very poor breakfast and not enough seats in breakfast room.
-Location is near Moulin Rouge but (see negative) -it's Paris, hotels are going to be expensive and cramped.. so if you're okay with that, this is a good hotel. -very near underground -room had a balcony, very nice if wanting to relax in room. -street was quiet at night -Location is near Red Light district / porn store central -room was cramped for 4 adults and 2 kids, but sleep was no problem. -parking.. none, loading/unloading.. very difficult. parking will cost you no less than 28 euros per day in a garage... take the train to Paris. you'll enjoy your stay much more.
Good location, situated between Montmartre and the river and main art galleries. Everywhere we wanted to go was walkable or easy to reach by metro - Pigalle Metro about 7 minutes slow walk from the hotel, with direct connection to the Gare du Nord, and thence train direct to Charles de Gaulle airport. Staff were polite and helpful. Hotel fairly basic, no frills, breakfast not included (though we preferred to eat breakfast out anyway, which is easy in Paris!), but clean and with all essentials.
Very close to Metro station. Friendly and helpful staff at reception. Quiet street. Double bed a bit small. Breakfast room too small for the number of guests.
Great location, not too touristy, plenty of local colour and bars and restaurants No English television, not even CNN, room too small, no attachment on the wall for shower, not enough shelving in bathroom.
Very nice view to the Eiffeltower
Nice street overall too touristy and unsafe, I was pickpocketed but the police caught thetbieves as they stole my wallet. The Paris police was superb.0 Need to warn visiters about high risk for pickpocket.
location and convenience room very small
good location.value for money booked 4 double/twin rooms and 1 single room but the person in the single room was told it was not available the first night and had to move to another hotel. Were told a problem with electricity but when he returned next day was told the room was not ready as it had not been vacated yet.thought this was poor.
Excellent hotel, being quite small it offered a very personnel service, have never seen anywhere so clean. I also liked that when you book out at 12.00 they have a place where you can store luggage for the day if your flight isn't till evening. If anything the rooms are a bit small, but this is to be expected in Paris hotels!
The staff were friendly and were willing to help.Especially the people at FO. The best thing was that they were able to communicate in English. I think the check in time has to be little earlier. Not 3 PM.And they should try to provide a shower curtain so that water does not spill out.
wonderful, helpful staff, great location. bright clean hotel. quiet at night so great for sleeping. every need was catered for. close to great cafes, restaurants, shops and metro. wonderful to walk - and some lovely gardens tucked away by sacre coeur. We will go back.
Great locations, helpful staff and plentiful breakfast.
Splendid location, lovely staff, comfortable room.
Personel was kind. The internetconnection didn't work.
it was very centrally located and in a very nice locality . nothing really
I like frendly helpful staff and very good location.
It is very clean and friendly and is situated in a part of Paris which suited us
Very close to everything and although basic, clean and comfortable. I would stay again.
Poor internet access, staff often lying to promote business (e.g. which restaurants are open, ways to get to the airport)
The hotel is well located; it has an adequate breakfast; the room entirely met my needs. It is a good value for the money.
Conveniently placed in an interesting area. Several restaurants close at hand as was metro
We choose this place for a second time and is very convenient because of the location, and all the good restaurants around this area, plus the Metro Pigalle which is very good for visiting the center of the town. The lobby was renovated since last year, and I beat some of the rooms were too. Well, we have the suspicion that they give us the same room as the last time we were there, because is one of the smallest and not renovated and because we book through booking.com. I wonder if this is true...
position small bathroom, very small room, number of towels not enough for us, staff not affable.
location, near Monmartre and Sacre Coeur. Fine bed room not available at 13.00, but officially at 15.00
Just across the road from my uncles house , so very handy no tea coffee and kettle facilities in the room
the position was ok, breakfast ok, staff ok one of the rooms was very small
Quiet and well placed The cleaning of the bathromm was not very good
We were greeted with smiles and although I tried speaking French, the receptionist recognized my American accent and began speaking English right away. That was a relief! Our room and bathroom were unexpectedly large, especially for Europe. The elevator was large as well, fitting 4 people. We asked the staff to make dinner reservations and they were happy to do this, and asked about our dinner A few blocks from the Metro.
is a very quiert, friendly and clean hotel.
Very helpful staff.
its a nice hotel, basically what you'd expect in a holiday inn partner hotel.professional. they did not have a funtional resturant.
The hotel was modern, clean and friendly. It's proximity to Montmarte is excellent. There was some disagreement on check out between what was booked on the internet and what the hotel thought was booked. This was resolved in my favour.
Beautiful hotel in a fabulous location. Will definitely go back.
Nice decor. Free internet access. Professional staff. Great location. Bed was too small. Bathtub was too small. Lights and lamps could not be controlled individually (all or nothing). They charged a supplement to watch TV. Should have been EUR50 less per night.
View from suite across Paris was fantastic. You could see the Eiffel Tower & all across Paris. Hotel was probably a bit on th ecostly side. It was in a quiet location though which was nice & close by many restaurant, all within walking distance. It was 5 minutes walk to the Moulin Rouge, right next door to the Montmartre Cemetery which was incredibly interesting. Sadly the worst experience of my trip was the problem in France with strikes & transport issues.
The very good bed! The showerhead didn't work properly (so I had to bend over not to get my hear wet) and here was no working electricity in the bathroom for me to do my hear.
Very good location.Close to metro. Air conditioned. Breakfast served promptly in the room. Staff very helpfull. Unable to get a table in the restaurant.
Staff at breakfast bit slow
The staff went out of their way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Their service was superb. The location was great - with café bars and restaurants close and a superb view of the Eiffel tower from our bedroom. Breakfast wasn't as varied as it could have been.
we had a very colourful room, very comfortable bed and great bathroom. We liked the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and the cleanliness of the whole place. no
The room was beautiful...the staff, exceptional. In winter, the temperature can't be adjusted.
Clean room and en suite, comfortable bed, central. Small room, thin walls, showerhead fixing
We liked the position of the hotel (2 minutes to the metro). It has a good value for money rate. The room and bathroom furnitures were very old; the room was small (but clean). The breakfast is basic.
The man at reception was very friendly - he was nice enough not to switch to English while I spoke little French with him.
nothing breakfast is not good, noisy room,we cant sleep
Very clean with comfortable bed and hot water. Great location with easy Metro access. Who spends a lot of time in the hotel when in Paris anyway???? Towels were paper thin; very inadequate.
Nothing. Service very bad.Expensive.No breakfast that can be called in that way.
It was cheap and at a good location. Its super small rooms and small breakfast.
Great position, interesting part of Paris, close to Metro.
I liked the location, the fact that our room had a view towards the street and you could feel like you are in the city, and especially in Montmartre. Also, it is close to the metro station. If you want to stay in Montmartre, this is the best place. I didn't like the breakfast, which is very poor. Though the location is important in this case, you should be aware that the streets from the metro station to the hotel are filled with "bars" where you can find girls to have fun. So, if you are single or with some friends, you can go there, but it is not very suitable for a family with kids. This doesn't mean that the area is dangerous.
Room is pretty big and clean. The front desk was helpful and nice. Location of the hotel is close to lots of bars and restaurants.
I've stayed in thousands of hotels around the world: Bellevue rated one of the worst when it comes to value for money; this is not a 3 star hotel, but one star, maximum, that should cost no more than 80 euro's a night!
Receptionist was very helpful No
not much, honestly. maybe the location, but i found out later that there are much better options in montmartre for similar price. the 3 stars are a joke. it's a 1 or 2 stars hotel, with rooms that look like a jail, poor to unexistent service and way overpriced.
Friendly, flexible staff, great location, good beds. bathroom can use an upgrade.
It is located near a Metro Station The accommodation and facilities were very basic
Especially liked the people working there. They were friendly and helpful.
Nice and cheap hotel. Good location Not, if thinking about the price
It was fantastic! Next to sacre coeur and lots of café's and restaurants. Next to a supermarket also. It's a very lively neighbourhood from morning to dawn, but it's very quiet at night. The "red light district" Pigalle is about 8 minutes away, so there are no prostitutes near the hotel. The metro is like 2 minutes away. The room was warm. But thats just a matter of taste. The breakfast is not worth waking up for.
The location of the hotel Strange policy of the hotel: the travelling person needs to receive information in the moment when he arrives, not from the manager at 11pm
Hotel has a great location.
Schoon, rustig en vriendelijk personeel. nvt
unfriendly staff, filthy room...gross!
kindness of receptionist wonderful appartement
The location... The staff
Its superb location There was renovation work starting at 8am in the morning. And the bathroom was shabby, with big gaps in the wall
The location is excellent, Montmartre is a fantastic area to stay in and the hotel is right in the middle of it. Close to the tube station and within easy walking distance to local sites. Perfectly located to be just far enough away from the rush. Rooms are quite small. We had number 3 which meant we heard lots of foot traffic and walls are fairly thin. The room could do with a touch up, chipped furnishing, bathroom needs regrouting etc. Very basic but clean and there are safes in the room. The hotel staff were helpful. The overall experience was very pleasant. We were out most of the day so werent in the room for anything but sleep so if you're intending to stay for longer and will want to use your room for relaxation this is probably not the spot as it is too small and basis,
It was very good place to sleep! e didn´t spend our days at hotel, so nothing else matters to us so much!
The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. Check in was easy. No fuss. The telephone was not working for some reason.
Location No air conditioning
Very quiet room. Great for sleeping off jet lag. Excellent location. Lots to walk to. Easy to reach by metro.
Great location in the charming Montmarte, agree with all of the positive comments made about the hotel, after staying in good but somewhat impersonal hotels throughout Europe, Le Relais stood out as a small delightful and comfortable place to stay and explore Paris, not to mention Vincent who was as expected charming and helpful, as were all of the staff who made us feel welcome, would happily stay there again. Have to agree the breakfast is pricey for what was on offer, so like others have done we just walked around the corner to one of the many cafes.but this is the only negative in what was a very positive stay
Personalized service, hotel location Small rooms/bathrooms
good clean room and the staff no
The peace and quiet of the hotel yet within walking distance of many restaurants and places of interest
The very helpful and welcoming staff Our groundfloor bedroom was a little noisy
Wonderful location, quiet street, beautiful foyer, lovely rooms. Close to Sacre Coeur, close to restaurants and other amenities. All very tasteful. Male receptionist on morning of 7 September was notably pleasant and helpful. Receptionist having long, loud conversations on the telephone while we were trying to relax in the otherwise peaceful foyer. The hotel was a bit pricey even compared with London, for example, accentuated of course by the weak pound against the euro.
Location, cleanliness of the room, very pleasant and helpful staff.
Location Cost of breakfast when good bakeries are across the road. Why not just offer coffee and croissant for around 5 Euros as that's all most people want but are not prepared to pay 13 Euros.
Very helpful reception staff, comfortable room and ideal location with lots of restaurants within walking distance Noise from lift on occasion
- location - the size of the room, I didn't thought it would be so very small!
It was an overpriced average hotel. There was nothing matching with the amount they were charging. I stayed in a basic double bed room and paid 135 Euro/night. Next day itself I left the Hotel, found many decent hotels, far better than jardins, in the budget of 100-120 (if booking for more than 4 days)
Staff was very friendly, location of the hotel is perfect. Breakfast was very good! Room telefone was not working.
Helpful staff / Good location, near two metrolines and on walking distance of the Sacré-Coeur / Breakfast (tasty croissants) The rooms are rather small and don't look to clean (walls look like they have not been painted in years, the blanket had a hole and stains). The toilet seat was broken, not too comfortable... I guess the other rooms (toilet seat-wise then) are fine. The staff, the breakfast and location definitely make up for the somehow shabby rooms.
Wonderful location, very low price, wonderful balconies
Cleanliness, the price and close to the metro.
Close to transport Beds were a bit hard
All the staff were very nice and they were able to check us in early to an available room when we arrived before check in time. The renovated/updated room we stayed in was small but what we were expecting and the beds were very comfortable. The room was also quiet despite the hotel being on a busy street. I would describe the bathroom more as 'updated' rather than renovated. The sink and vanity were modern but the rest was more original. All was clean and neat though.
Conveniently located, courteous personnel, pretty clean, good and diverse breakfast. Not enough attention paid to functionality of bathroom equipment (wash-hand basin's drainage choked up). The "best price guarantee" was almost the same with that announced in the reception; besides, after having booked I noticed that the same type of room was later on offered on booking.com at 30% less.
Staff were attentive and very helpful in advising on the Metro, RER, buses and taxis. The self-service, continental breakfast was better than expected, and the croissants were fantastic! The room was a bit on the small side, as was the shower room/toilet.
The staff were very friendly and it was very close to the city and in a lively spot
staff were extremely helpful and friendly - including taking us personally round the corner to a little bistro when we fancied a steak at 11.30 pm on sunday night!! to make sure we found it and introducing us to the chef. always a smile. hotel simple but clean and perfectly positioned for everything. it is in pigalle the red light district however we did not have a minutes 'trouble' - great fun
very helpful staff, excellent internet connection! sour night portier..
The fact that is was close to everything
It's a nice, clean, quiet hotel with a comfortable location and friendly staff.
We really enjoyed our stay at Kyriad Montmartre. The location is excellent – near the Sacré-Coeur and Moulin Rouge, lots of stores and good restaurants nearby, only a few steps from the metro station –, it is very clean and the staff is extremely kind and helpful. Thanks Kyriad staff, you helped make our stay in Paris still better!
The lift is far too small trying to get our cases and us in the lift was a very tight squeeze. A bigger size bed would make it easier to sleep so you didnt bump each other all night as you roll over. I think the rooms are much too small. It seems like you have cramed as many rooms in but not gone for a little more comfort in the rooms. The restaurant was off the reception not a separate room, uncomfortable when guests were booking in or out.
It was unfortunate the hotel had a power cut in the evening but the staff were unhelpful, they did not provide any torches. There was little light from the street, the bathroom had no window so was pitch black, there was also no hot water, not good after a long day in a rather dirty Paris. All the staff could say was it wasn't their fault, there was nothing they could do. Not worth the money.
close to Pigalle metro and walking distance to Sacre Couer. Friendly staff and decent continental breakfast fro price of €6.50. Very noisy on warm evenings as nearby bars stay open till 3am at least and lack of aircon requires window to be left open this leads to very disturbed sleep
great location! close to the metro, pharmacies, markets and boutiques. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. the cleaning lady was really thorough and sweet. beautiful view from the balcony. we believe that the detergent and/or cleaning supplies might have given us allergic reactions. bar downstairs made friday and Saturday nights teally loud.
hotel very central to everything and easy to access from ch de gaull airport on public transport
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great, since it's near non touristy cafes and the 12 metro line. The rooms were clean and comfortable - not luxury hotel status but perfect for a vacation on a budget. Also if you're lucky enough to get a top floor room the view of Paris is great! Nothing.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean. We would stay there again.
good location close to the metro, quit room on the backside of the hotel like we asked
Cramped room, unsafe area and surroundings, in-room facilities provided were very basic, Lift not working, rude attitude towards us by one of the staff member
I was with a group of 3 friends to see a concert at the Stade de France and we were all very pleased with the information the reception staff gave us about travelling to and from the venue. Also we felt that the room we were given was very clean and well presented and comfortable. When we arrived we were told we could not have the 2 rooms we had booked and were not given a reason. The staff did however offer us a more that acceptable alternative for which we were very grateful.
Near the Cartier Montmartre and the subway station The beds are too small
location, just a few mins away from metro stations and the beautiful Sacre Coeur/Montmartre; not to worry about Bulevard Barbes, and it's busy immigrant communities. one staff member stood out from the rest, as being abrupt, at times unhelpful and not suited to working in a service industry; all other staff really brilliant.
