Very quiet room. Great for sleeping off jet lag. Excellent location. Lots to walk to. Easy to reach by metro.
Location Cost of breakfast when good bakeries are across the road. Why not just offer coffee and croissant for around 5 Euros as that's all most people want but are not prepared to pay 13 Euros.
Location, cleanliness of the room, very pleasant and helpful staff.
good clean room and the staff no
Very helpful reception staff, comfortable room and ideal location with lots of restaurants within walking distance Noise from lift on occasion
The peace and quiet of the hotel yet within walking distance of many restaurants and places of interest
The very helpful and welcoming staff Our groundfloor bedroom was a little noisy
Great location in the charming Montmarte, agree with all of the positive comments made about the hotel, after staying in good but somewhat impersonal hotels throughout Europe, Le Relais stood out as a small delightful and comfortable place to stay and explore Paris, not to mention Vincent who was as expected charming and helpful, as were all of the staff who made us feel welcome, would happily stay there again. Have to agree the breakfast is pricey for what was on offer, so like others have done we just walked around the corner to one of the many cafes.but this is the only negative in what was a very positive stay
Wonderful location, quiet street, beautiful foyer, lovely rooms. Close to Sacre Coeur, close to restaurants and other amenities. All very tasteful. Male receptionist on morning of 7 September was notably pleasant and helpful. Receptionist having long, loud conversations on the telephone while we were trying to relax in the otherwise peaceful foyer. The hotel was a bit pricey even compared with London, for example, accentuated of course by the weak pound against the euro.
Personalized service, hotel location Small rooms/bathrooms
View from suite across Paris was fantastic. You could see the Eiffel Tower & all across Paris. Hotel was probably a bit on th ecostly side. It was in a quiet location though which was nice & close by many restaurant, all within walking distance. It was 5 minutes walk to the Moulin Rouge, right next door to the Montmartre Cemetery which was incredibly interesting. Sadly the worst experience of my trip was the problem in France with strikes & transport issues.
Nice decor. Free internet access. Professional staff. Great location. Bed was too small. Bathtub was too small. Lights and lamps could not be controlled individually (all or nothing). They charged a supplement to watch TV. Should have been EUR50 less per night.
Very good location.Close to metro. Air conditioned. Breakfast served promptly in the room. Staff very helpfull. Unable to get a table in the restaurant.
Beautiful hotel in a fabulous location. Will definitely go back.
Staff at breakfast bit slow
The staff went out of their way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Their service was superb. The location was great - with café bars and restaurants close and a superb view of the Eiffel tower from our bedroom. Breakfast wasn't as varied as it could have been.
The hotel was modern, clean and friendly. It's proximity to Montmarte is excellent. There was some disagreement on check out between what was booked on the internet and what the hotel thought was booked. This was resolved in my favour.
we had a very colourful room, very comfortable bed and great bathroom. We liked the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and the cleanliness of the whole place. no
The room was beautiful...the staff, exceptional. In winter, the temperature can't be adjusted.
The very good bed! The showerhead didn't work properly (so I had to bend over not to get my hear wet) and here was no working electricity in the bathroom for me to do my hear.
Location, cleanliness Our room opened onto the dining room so was noisy in the morning
The room was comfortable and cosy because of nicely selected colors and materials. For Paris and the price it was quite large. Nice and clean bathroom. Our room was noisy because of the thin door towards the corridor. There was no cupboard or shelf to put clothes
The staff was excellent - very friendly and good restaurant recommendations in the area. The rooms were clean and the showers were awesome. There is a strange odor in the elevator.
Clean , modern good location
Hotel was clean and staff pleasant. Breakfasts were very good value for money. The location.
Resteraunt and church up the hill Lack of help with resteraunts from staff
The location is amazing - after viewing so much of paris - returning to blanche/pigalle is like beginning a new party but the hotel is soundproof so is up to you whether you want to continue or go to sleep. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy but very small - just the space for queen bed and two little side walks to get in it. The bathroom is the same as a big rainforest shower takes up a lot of space but to be honest it's worthed.
The atmosphere of the hotel No
.Large bath tub. Upgraded us to a larger room for free. Area was sketchy. Bathtub no shower. Wifi wasn't great. Large room wasn't really big.
Room was great, staff was great While we could see the Moulin Rougue from our place, the location isn't the nicest considering all the shops around it.
minimalist design, spacious room, good location, excellent customer service lack of fridge and coffee making facilities - shower's a bit messy
The rooms - not numbered but named after famous French people - are like fin-de-siecle brothel rooms. You can imagine Toulouse Lautrec, Oscar Wilde and Dalida in there. Or Ewan and Nicole.... The price is a bit hefty....
The hotel is in a quite convenient location very very close to Metro station. The hotel's internal decorations are quite unique. The hotel needs to be more professionally managed. We had only two glasses for two guests (both for drinking and for tooth brushing). There is no service for adaptor borrowing and luggage concierge, which should be in place for a 4-star hotel. Electrics and power sockets in room could be better maintained as a lamp doesn't work and the power socket by bedside leaked electricity. In addition, the room was quite small and the hotel doesn't have a channel for feedback/complaints to management.
Location Location Location. We stayed in the Louis Vuitton room and the view of the street and fountain was beautiful but more incredibly was the view of the Sacre Coeur Basillica. WoW! Access to the Metro could not have been easier it was just across the street. A Sushi Bar just up the street from the hotel toward the Moulin Rouge was delicious. Very satisfied with our stay in Paris. C'est Magnifique! Simple basic breakfast was incredibly expensive for what was offered. Did not eat at the hotel once but instead went downstairs to Omnibus Brasserie for the best and very inexpensive HUGE breakfast! The croissants were melt in your mouth wonderful.
The decoration, the bathroom, friendly staff Location near a discotheque, very noisy
great deco, buzzy, interesting area, great views no
the furnishings and decour noise from the outside, rooms are fully sound proof
location --- proximity to Metro Room a little crowded, but probably typical of European standard
Excellent old fashioned decoration. Names for each room Poor breakfast, little space in rooms.
central location front door is closed all the time, even during the day - for that same reason, you can hardly recognize it as the place where you need to be, if there is no one to open the door - a clear sign with name of hotel should be placed above the door, as both me and the taxi driver could not recognize it as the hotel/place to be and arriving and finding the door closed with no one to open it for a few minutes, is scary when you see your taxi dissapear in the night
The whimsical approach by the hotel to give each room a name such as that of a celebrity or entertainer. The location. The hotel was located in the middle of Paris' red-light district. There were numerous sex shops within a few steps of the hotel door. This location is absolutely unsuitable for children.
location, near Monmartre and Sacre Coeur. Fine bed room not available at 13.00, but officially at 15.00
the position was ok, breakfast ok, staff ok one of the rooms was very small
Quiet and well placed The cleaning of the bathromm was not very good
its a nice hotel, basically what you'd expect in a holiday inn partner hotel.professional. they did not have a funtional resturant.
We were greeted with smiles and although I tried speaking French, the receptionist recognized my American accent and began speaking English right away. That was a relief! Our room and bathroom were unexpectedly large, especially for Europe. The elevator was large as well, fitting 4 people. We asked the staff to make dinner reservations and they were happy to do this, and asked about our dinner A few blocks from the Metro.
is a very quiert, friendly and clean hotel.
Just across the road from my uncles house , so very handy no tea coffee and kettle facilities in the room
Very helpful staff.
Near the Cartier Montmartre and the subway station The beds are too small
I was with a group of 3 friends to see a concert at the Stade de France and we were all very pleased with the information the reception staff gave us about travelling to and from the venue. Also we felt that the room we were given was very clean and well presented and comfortable. When we arrived we were told we could not have the 2 rooms we had booked and were not given a reason. The staff did however offer us a more that acceptable alternative for which we were very grateful.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean. We would stay there again.
location, just a few mins away from metro stations and the beautiful Sacre Coeur/Montmartre; not to worry about Bulevard Barbes, and it's busy immigrant communities. one staff member stood out from the rest, as being abrupt, at times unhelpful and not suited to working in a service industry; all other staff really brilliant.
good location close to the metro, quit room on the backside of the hotel like we asked
Cramped room, unsafe area and surroundings, in-room facilities provided were very basic, Lift not working, rude attitude towards us by one of the staff member
We've stayed there 5 times now. Despite booking 3 months ago and arriving at 10.30pm, the four of us got 'bumped' on our first night to the seedy noisier downmarket sister hotel on the Blvd Clichy. We complained bitterly on our return and got upgraded to the rooms with views on the 5th floor. a pretty poor show though from Timhotel. beware.
The woman at the desk was kind and helpful, she spoke italian also. There was always someone at the desk, day and night. The location is very nice and quiet. Rooms are clean and have a good smell, the standard is very good for the price we paid. The last day the elevator was broken, that is really the only negative thing. Maybe I would not recommend it to old people, there is a steep road to walk from Abesses to the hotel.
Location is gorgeous!!! Fabulous view on Montmartre and on whole Paris
Room situated on the 4th floor with a fantastic view of paris Lots of cafes & restaurants Nearby metro links Building work in the street below which wasnt really the hotels fault but very annoying at 7am
The view was excellent as well as location The room was cold and the breakfast very unappetising so we ate somewherelse.
Great location, would stay here again!
The location, staff friendly, though they did not have a painkiller for headache. No guidance on medical issues
In a fabulous loction, hustle and bustle of the area we enjoyed very much. Would stay again without a doubt. The maid service on the last two days was very late in the day 4pm-5pm. We declined as we were tired. A kettle would be a good idea ? Take a travel one if you can, wish we had.
The location is simply wonderful and the staff were really helpful. The bedrooms are rather basic and old fashioned, and the beds horrendously hard!
location and convenience room very small
Splendid location, lovely staff, comfortable room.
Great location, not too touristy, plenty of local colour and bars and restaurants No English television, not even CNN, room too small, no attachment on the wall for shower, not enough shelving in bathroom.
wonderful, helpful staff, great location. bright clean hotel. quiet at night so great for sleeping. every need was catered for. close to great cafes, restaurants, shops and metro. wonderful to walk - and some lovely gardens tucked away by sacre coeur. We will go back.
The staff were friendly and were willing to help.Especially the people at FO. The best thing was that they were able to communicate in English. I think the check in time has to be little earlier. Not 3 PM.And they should try to provide a shower curtain so that water does not spill out.
Nice street overall too touristy and unsafe, I was pickpocketed but the police caught thetbieves as they stole my wallet. The Paris police was superb.0 Need to warn visiters about high risk for pickpocket.
good location.value for money booked 4 double/twin rooms and 1 single room but the person in the single room was told it was not available the first night and had to move to another hotel. Were told a problem with electricity but when he returned next day was told the room was not ready as it had not been vacated yet.thought this was poor.
Excellent hotel, being quite small it offered a very personnel service, have never seen anywhere so clean. I also liked that when you book out at 12.00 they have a place where you can store luggage for the day if your flight isn't till evening. If anything the rooms are a bit small, but this is to be expected in Paris hotels!
Very nice view to the Eiffeltower
Great locations, helpful staff and plentiful breakfast.
The view from the roof, friendly staff, location was good.
It has a great location and a roof terrace with a brilliant view of Paris. We stayed with two young kids and had an absolute ball. Breakfast was good as well.
The hotel room The hotel staff were very courteous but were not very well informed. We had lot of trouble early in the morning for booking a taxi. When we tried booking the taxi the previous night, the staff informed us that it can be done in the monring 15 min prior to our departure. But in the morning, there when we needed the taxi, the staff were not able to help us quoting that it was too early in the morning and that we should have booked the previous night itself
We liked the terrace. No ironing facility in the room.
the location is fair. The view on the Sacré Coeur is very pleasant. The hotel is very very expensive for an outdated room. The heating system is noisy and you are hearing water flooding during all the night...stressfull! The breakfast is made with poor quality ingredients (coffee, orange juice, croissants, bread).
A room is very nice and comfortable, it's over expectation I wish it could be one room for 3 persons but I've got 2 rooms! A view was superb we can see The Paris Icon from our rooms.
Accessibility - very handy for the Metro. Attentive and helpfull staff. Clean rooms Bed was uncomfortable - the mattress was past it's best and the sheets smelt of cigarettes
it is a good hotel
Great location, fab view over all of Paris from the terrace Good breakfast Fun artwork in superior rooms
The central location, cleanliness, helpful staff, reasonable price (if you take the non-refundable option) which includes breakfast - highly unusual for France, as was the coffee and tea in the room, the view of Sacre Coeur in Montmartre as I opened the curtains in the morning, the fact that they re-opened the bar for us when we returned late from dinner The pillows !! It was like trying to sleep on a bag full of rocks. Please change!
I requested at reservation to have a quiet room (so window not facing street), but this request was not honoured, despite having made the reservation several weeks in advance
Beautifully surrounded Breakfast is cheaper in the street
The location was great, I liked how close this hotel was to the metro. It was easy to find when we arrived. Check in was quick and efficient however we were given a twin room when we had booked a double so we had to change that, apart from a scoff by the receptionist at the request to change the staff were very nice. The hotel room was mega tiny but when you consider you leave your bags and go out, its not too big a deal. Closet space was very limited and the room we stayed in could do with a fresh lick of paint. The breakfast area was so tiny people had to wait to eat which doesn't make for easy digestion when people are waiting to have their breakfast and they a looking right at you willing you to finish yours quicker!
The people at the Hotel were very nice and helpful. I appreciated that the breakfast was included in the hotel price. I do not have a complaint about the Hotel but I did not appreciate getting robbed by pickpocket on a bus almost directly in front of the Hotel. We were scheduled to stay for 6 nights but after this incident, we took the first available flight home. When we reported the robbery to the police and were told that they would do nothing, not even wanting a description of the 2 men? I knew that they did not care if we were their at all. Therefore we only stayed 2 niights.
It is close to a metro station The location is quite far from the centre, the breakfast was ok apart from the stale French stick. The shower was luke warm and had no pressure. The tea and coffee is available from reception which was annoying.
The hotel was fine as a simple, well-situated place to rest and sleep during a city break. The staff were polite and helpful. Help yourself breakfast was better than we expected. The shower was good. The room was very well cleaned each day. The Metro (Jules Joffrin) is close by. We had no complaints at all. The walls could do with a lick of paint. New carpets would improve things.
Situation for touring Paris Shower cabinets require renewing or better cleaning
The staff were very kind and friendly. They would speak English.
Staff extremely obliging excellent English No bar[ we were there for a rugby international]
location was good 15mins walk from sacre coeur,1min from metro, and 4stops from gare du nord.Cafe Albert opposite had a decent menu and frendly staff on the 5th floor and lift was broke all weekend
