Great location, very family friendly and comfortable.
Hotel was well placed and Metro close by, Good quality for the money paid Rooms are a bit on the small side and expensive to eat or drink in the hotel
I arrived at 10 pm . there was no room for me !!! as alternative and as no other options they let me stay in a very poor room - (hotel staff room) I asked for a full credit for this nigth and the promised to apply and credit me
Very nice and clean hotel.Helpful and friendly staff.Good location.
location and professional staff concierge was very helpful no free wi-fi (most hotels it is free) hard to control temperature in the room room service is too slow
Well decorated, the rooms looked nice. In this case the location was very convenient Air Conditioner didn't work TV did't work The wireless internet would drop out for several hours at a time The pillows were very thick and very hard... not suitable for sleeping
location was excellent, twenty minute walk or quick metro ride to Seine and Notre Dame.Metro station two minutes walk away. good view from room onto square with view of Eiffel Tower in distance. Well proportioned room, friendly and helpful staff.excellent choice of restaurants and bars in vicinity.
The Hotel was very good would stay again No
The location was excellent with good food in the hotel's restaurant and many good restaurants next door to hotel
Location! This hotel is located right on top of one of the major metro stations, which made getting around the city super convenient. Room quality, amenities, and service weren't quite as great as other luxury hotel brands, but were still far above average. Aside from a minor screw-up at check-in, I had no complaints. Noise. Being situated on such a main thoroughfare, you get a lot of street noise, even at night. HVAC. Our room was always hot! We had to crack the window just to keep it comfortable, especially at night while trying to sleep.
we were in a great location, the staff were very helpful with anything we asked for and the rooms were so clean and comfortable
Location, easy access to city centre, museums and shops. Nice view over the place de la rebublique. Small room
This hotel was very conveninent! 1 block from the subway. I even had a balcony looking out at the street. x The only bad thing is you have to pay for wifi.
I maybe mostly loiked the balcon view.We had a room on the last floor, and when you get to the balcon and lookin around you feel like staying on the roof. And downwards there was a beautiful street. The rooms are to small - practically there is no place to make a step. The towels in the bathroom seemed lke being not clean enough.
It was quite good. The Room was neat with Good Bed Linen & Well Cleaned Toilet. The carpet in the room looks bit old and dirty. The Reception is bad. Unclean furnitures & dull look.
The location and walking distance to all we wanted to see and more was perfect. So close to wonderful restaurants and shopping districts. Plain and simple: Our room was very small.
Hotel room was small but fine, stuff was very kind. Close to railway stations, and next to 3 subway lines. There was no heating in our room. Only continental breakfast is available, but I recommend going out to restaurants anyway - same prize and very parisian feeling :) Surrounding was not very safe nights - the immigrants quartier is very close.
Staff Room was a little bit too small; No windows in breakfast room.
the location is very good. close to all famous spots. easy to get metro. room is clean. service is good. room is not big. Compare with other hotels in Paris, I would like to recommend this one.
The location was really good: metro station around the corner and most sights within a walking distance. We were lucky to get a really nice and spacy room on the 5th floor (non-smoking). Staff was helpful. We didn't have breakfast though it looked okey. Soundproofing wasn't quite suberb: there are big boulevards close by and emergency vehicles' sounds disturbed a little.
friendly staff, good location very noisy
the deco of the hotel was very pleasing and it was very clean. on arrival there was no record of our reservation. we recieved no apologies and were told we were lucky they had a twin room. we had booked a double and i had our reservation refrence as proof! the room was very small and in a very poor part of town i did not feel at ease. we made reservations with and different hotel and checked out the next day. upon checking out the hotel staff were quite rude complaining this is not the way to do business. i replyed that as i was on holiday to celebrate my 1st wedding anniversary and only for 5 days i was deeply unhappy with the service recieved and this had cut down my holiday time by 1 day. still no apologie! i would not recomend this hotel for a sight seeing holiday in paris as the location is also quite a distance from the attractions.
Friendly stuff. The bed was extremely firm and therefore very uncomfortable. There was a constant noise from the drain, placed just outside the bedroom window, which was very annoying. The hotel felt very impersonal, lacked atmosphere.
It was ok, clean and with a good bed. The public areas were very ordinary, and some of the staff, (male) were not particularly pleasant.
It is in a great location for shopping and sightseeing in paris. The rooms are small by australian standards, but good by european standards.
Excelente hotel. If you want to be close to Metro and in a good location, close to everything. Here is the place. Nothing, really. It was a very good stay.
We know this hotel since more than 10 years and have been staying there for at least four times. It is a lovely hotel and we'll choose it for our next stay in Paris. No, nothing indeed
very comfortable and beautiful. staff was very accomodating!
We lived on the 8th floor of the hotel, and the elevator broke down twice. We had to carry our baby and stroller the eight floors up twice. Two members of staff were downright rude and non-accomodating to this inconvenience. However, Christina and one other man were very nice and helpful and understanding. Part from the elevator mishaps, it was quite a nice hotel, and the eight floor rooms have a great view of Paris.
The location was very good and well served by public transport. The room was clean but vastly overpriced for what it was. I was forced to take something as Paris seemed to be very full that weekend. The value for money was extremely poor.
The ducks in the bathroom, the bar, the very nice clean bathroom and gym. Helpful staff. French lavender outside the front door. Lovely flowers in the common areas. Great breakfast. Liked the whole design. Especially liked the bowls of sweeties in the bar.
The staff were extremely welcoming and efficient When made the complaint re. pull out bed, the person on duty was not flexible at all.
The staff were all very helpful and courteous; Decoration original-- apples on the pillows and a rubber duck in the bath! Loved the L'Occitane toiletries--What a treat! Asked for a non-smoking room on reservation and confirmed upon arrival at the hotel. Room air was great when we arrived, which is not always the case even when it is supposed to be a non-smoking room. Unfortunately, despite indication of Non-smoking floor, the hall reeked of cigarettes second day, and smoked out our room the rest of the visit.:(
Good location, close to metro, nice little hotel Breakfest is not inclusive, EUR 16 too expensive
The staff works very hard to make you feel comfortable. The L'Occitane products are a big plus!
Location was good and the room and bathroom had a good size for 3 people. It was always cleaned and warm. Bath products are never replaced and one of the guys at the front desk wasn't helpful when asked about information to leave the city.
I have never seen such a dirty hotel in my life! I have paid 170 for a night, just to feel like vomiting any time I have looked to all the hair hanging everywhere in the bathroom, or at the stains on the bed sheets! I have never seen such a dirty hotel in my life! I have paid 170 for a night, just to feel like vomiting any time I have looked to all the hair hanging everywhere in the bathroom, or at the stains on the bed sheets! Besides, I have felt totally insecure.
The room was nice and delicate with TV, Nespresso machine, and wonderful products in the bathrooom (l'occitane products, bathrobes etc). A big plus for the nice balcony and view of the rooftops of Paris. The breakfast was good, and it was served in original settings in a pink designed room, with i.e. a "pill-bar" where you could choose different vitamin pills to go with your breakfast. The first morning we woke up there was no hot water in the shower, so we had to shower in ice cold water. The staff explained that this was due to some technical problems and the hot water was back that same afternoon/evening. We also asked the staff to bring us a third bathrobe and coffe-cup, since we had booked a room for 3 people, but we never got this.
Great L'Occitane products in the bathroom. Helpful staff. Nice decor.
This is a very nice and pleasant hotel to come back to after a day of sightseeing. I love the bathroom especially. Makes me feel welcomed. the wi-fi signal was a little weak but I shouldn't be complaining since it's complimentary.
Great location, good sized room for a european hotel. High ceilings were nice touch. Staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke english. only negative is that wireless internet is a little slow, but thats probably a good thing.
The staff was so wonderful. Really made my stay special
one room was very large and one room was very small. the staff was very considerate and friendly.
Convenient location. Good room
Position and size of room Did not think breakfast matched the standard of the hotel
The hotel was comfortable if compact and the location was good. It was a little noisy from traffic at the front
Service was spectacular. The staff knows this is a small hotel and do their very best. Loved the staff. Room was nicely furnished. Bathroom had a rain shower head which was very pleasureful after long days of walking. Being a residential neighborhood, it was quite in the evenings. Staff spoke English very well. Wish the beds were plush but that is a personal preference.
Helpful staff. Neighborhood low key and comfortable. We were in 2 different rooms. It's probably worth a few extra euros to get the larger room if staying more than a day or 2.. Good value for Paris. Small rooms, and especially bathroom in the cheaper room. No real place for 2 suitcases.
The staff were particularly helpful and provided a good welcome to the hotel and they were willing to provide information about the city and also about the hotel and its facilities
the staff were very polite and professional. impressive service which i didn't expect before. their english skill is excellent.
We liked our room with view into the little garden. Clean and quiet. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff rearranged our luggage in a strange way...
Room was comfortable Having to pay the bill including paying for breakfast at check-in
Sleeping Despite the cleanliness of the rooms, they were too small and lack of services in terms of money that you gave for it.
I like the friendly staff. no air condiction
Friendliness of the staff and location of the hotel
Comfortable room, easy walking distance to the Marais, good WiFi at reasonable cost (€4 x 24h) Needs some renovation, phone didn't work in room
The location is the best point. The decor is very dated and furniture is not only dated (circa 1970's) but worn out.Breakfast is not worth 10 Euros. Better to buy a coffee and croissent from a bar.
Woman at reception was very helpful Rooms, evening reception staff,
nothing very unpleasant staff
Fantastic staff at the desk who went out of their way to help us.
Room fairly small but adequate. Bathroom new modern and nice. Beds very comfortable. Staff were ok and friendly but didn't go out of their way to be conversational or helpful. Location was good. Lift too small to fit more than 1 person- had buggy as well which didnt fit in lift- luckily were on 1st floor. Overall would have considered a bit too pricy if not for the nice bathroom.
Very nice staff. Clean rooms. A minute from the metro. Good value for money. No Aircondition at Winter. One, Small and Slow elevator
they provided all the small stuff in full good location no kettle, and not helpful to provide hot drinking water. the room facilities are old and our air-conditioner didn't work at all (we chose this hotel mainly because air-conditioning) lifter is small
I was there with my wife to celebrate her birthday. In my opinion the hotel has a perfect location, with many restaurants around it. The personnel were very kind and the installation was clean at all time. I´ll be back there when I have the opportunity to visit Paris again. Totally recommended to anyone.
Location Small lift and no explication how to use the locker.
Conveniently located near Gare du Nord and amenities in the centre of Paris (e.g. Pompidou only a 10/15 mins walk). Room and bathroom were of fair dimensions and clean (bathroom recently renovated, with large and rather good shower, carpet in room perhaps a bit old). Furniture in our room even had character. Lift is a bit small, but we did manage to fit a buggy in it (though the accompanying adult had to squeeze). Overall, this is a satisfactory hotel, and given Paris prices, fairly economical and good value for money (if booked at discounted rates).
Clean, convenient position, WIFI, people elevator is verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry slow and small
patience et gentillesse du personnels franck
friendly atmosphere and great location small elevator not enough room to be in the elevator at the same time as your bags. Very small rooms but I understand that is normal for paris
I found the Staff very friendly. And the location was very convenient with the Metro station just 2 minutes from the hotel.
Good location. Ease of check-in. Friendly reception staff No
Staff, location, original room very small dark inhospitable, need for relaxation in rooms not just a bed and a hard chair, satellite tv needs to work effectively giving a wider range of programs
Very convenient location, near the metro and not far from the city centre. Room was clean and comfortable, if compact (this is Paris, after all!) but not unduly cramped. By no means luxury accomodation, which is hardly a surprise at this price level, but has some interesting design touches. Free wi-fi too! Plumbing is a little noisy - it's an old building - and you're left in no doubt when your neighbours are taking a shower! This is unlikely to be a major issue, though, unless you're a very light sleeper.
Nice staff, good breakfast, proximity to Temple metro station. Not really in the middle of the Marais, quite a bit of noise from the very busy Rue de Turbigo.
Practical, very good location near public transport. Friendly and efficient staff. Small but comfortable, clean and quiet, nicely furnished room. The design, look and general feeling of the rooms is great. Unfortunately, this is not the case for the reception room which is rather bland and cold.
Location very good for reasonable price; very close to metro; staff helpful. Room smaller than expected;
hotel was very nice.. none.
Very quiet! Bed comfortable. Staff very nice. Just the shower on the cord is annoying. Prefer fixed shower head. Hallways too dark.
staff was great elevated bed platform was hazardous at night in low light
Brilliant room comfort & design. Cool, trendy atmosphere whether breakfast or dinner. Breakfast is great & dinner exceptional...try the cocktails!
The staff were excellent at all times. Great design although a bit "hard". The prices of drinks in the bar were unjustifiable for a hotel guest. I may be wealthy but that does not make me stupid.
There was not one good experience that I can say about The Murano Resort Hotel. Unfortunately, there was nothing positive that I can say at the Murano Hotel. The rooms are worn out. The furniture in them have burn marks on the tables as well as pulls and snags all over the fabric. The plumbing backed up in our room and we had to be moved to another room, and at night you hear gurgling in the pipes all night long. The hallways and rooms and elevators smell of smoke. There is no designated floors for non-smoking so you smell smoke from the other rooms. The hallways are so dark you can not find your key lock on your door with your key to enter your room. The hotels tv's did not work properly and very little channel selections. The hotel practices no enviromental/substailable practices. The did not even own an iron to use.
