Cons: I think 25 euros is a bit high for breakfast (though the breakfast looked very good), so you may want to search for a rate that includes it.

Pros: The staff are excellent especially the guy who is on at nights. They were happy to phone up restaurants and make reservations in French, recommend areas to go out drinking etc. The beds are unbelievably good - I practically went into a coma, had the best sleep I've had in a long time. Good insulation against street noise. Rooms are a little small but that's Paris for ya, so nothing new there. Wi-fi was free which is cool, it times out every 10-20 minutes which can be annoying if you're in the middle of booking a flight or something. Location is great - doesn't feel touristy at all, but is within 5-10 minute walk of Gare du Lyon and 5 mins from Bastille metro.

Pros: I needed an inexpensive hotel near Gare de Lyon, so I could catch an early morning train without too much hassle. The hotel is very good value for the money. The first floor of the hotel is currently being renovated. My room was small, but extremely clean and comfortable, fine for a single traveler. The reception was courteous and the hotel safe.

Pros: Very convenient for Gare de Lyon and close to several reasonable places to eat out in the evening. Breakfast a good simple French petit dejeuner.

Pros: Very convenient indeed. A few yards in a side street from the Air France coach stop at Gare de Lyon (from CDG airport). By the metro. Short walk from the Seine. Ideal comfortable base for exploring the city.

Pros: Our room was comfortable,big and we slept well. The location is excellent, just minutes away from a major train and metro station -Gare de Lyon. There are also good cafes and resturants around the hotel. The breakfast at the hotel is value for money and yummy.

Cons: Actually I have a suggestion, it might be good if there is a shower curtain in the bathroom. Currently, it does not have and water splatters all over the bathroom and one has to be careful.

Cons: Shower was broken. Had to sit down in the tub to bath. Very unconfortable. The Phone system was screwed up. Intental calls to other rooms was not possible. Phone Instructions were all in french. International calls were very...very...expensive.

We also requested a smoking room and although it wasn't stated that we couldn't smoke there was no ashtray provided. We could also have used some Do Not Disturb signs as the maid unlocked our door twice quite early in the morning

Pros: I chose this hotel for reasons of cost (it was on special offer); location (near to the Gare de Lyon, but in a fairly quiet side street); ratings and comments from previous customers. It represented good value for money: only 120 euros for a two night stay. My room was quiet, as requested. It was small, but big enough for my purposes. The ensuite was particularly 'charmant'. Staff were helpful.

Pros: Perfect situation for Gare de Lyon. Quiet room overlooking internal courtyard so window could be open at night. Comfortable bed and practical lighting. Modern, well fitted shower room with plentiful hot water. Excellent breakfast included in price, delivered to my room (with newspaper) by friendly, smiling member of staff exactly at the time requested.

Cons: Corridors felt cramped and the lift was very small. Furnishings in the room were dull though storage was adequate.

Cons: - WiFi is COMPLETELY unacceptable in 2019. They use some idiotic homegrown system to "control" who gets access, and consequence of this is that you are CONSTANTLY being knocked off the network and have to reconnect. Do you like the idea of having to reconnect to WiFi EVERY time you open your iPad? Well, that's what this hotel (and, as far as I can tell, every Accor property on Earth) has in store for you... Whatever they are doing is adequate for phone (didn't have to reconnect often), OK for laptops (maybe once a day), and utterly unusable for tablets. - Breakfast was not bad, but they charge for it --- and are extremely careful not to warn you about this until you leave, which I thought was unacceptably deceptive. - Others may like the beds. I though the mattresses and pillows (both memory foam) were quite a bit harder than I like (and I like a firm mattress+pillow). - The front desk will try to upsell you to a "premium" room for an extra 20 euro/day. Don't be fooled, it's a waste of money. ALL you get is a coffee press machine and a robe in the room. Nothing else is better, the room is not even slightly larger, nor even slightly differently laid out. - Bathroom is designed by a clueless moron. Every surface shows water very visibly, and the shower half door (!) is completely inadequate to preventing water leakage. No matter how careful you are, after one round of just brushing your teeth and showering, the room will look like the plumbing exploded and every faucet sprayed everywhere. Basically it's great in terms of location, but so many other things could have been so much better at the cost of a small amount of effort and care. I understand that a hotel at this type of location and price-point can't provide a large room, or various facilities; and we all accept that. But functional WiFi does not cost money; a softer pillow does not cost money; a full shower door is probably cheaper than a fancy looking half door...

Cons: This was the WORST stay...room not clean. Noisy room...called down to front desk after listing to over 2 hours of noise in the room above us. So at 2am nothing happened. Called down again at 5am...nothing happened from the front desk! Poor.

Pros: Location is great, just next to Gare de Lyon, 1 min only. Suitable for travellers with big luggage. Room size is proper for 2 people comparing to other relatively small Paris hotels.

Cons: The staffs seem too busy to manage too many things. Which made some services less satisfying and efficient, such as answering questions about Wi-fi password or an extra blanket service.

Cons: Internet did not permit SKYPE.The managers should understand that skype is part of the internet universe and should be available for the guests to use it.Why block it ? To force people to spend money on phone or mobile?

Pros: Good location when travelling by train arriving at Gare de Lyon which is adjacent to the hotel. Also if travelling by plane to/from Roissy Air France airport bus is a few metres away. Metro and buses to main places in Paris nearby. Hotel staff really nice and speaks English. Good sized room and very clean. Lockers very convenient to leave luggage when leaving late evening.

Cons: Buffet breakfast at 17euro pp very expensive. Since we were there for 2 nights only we opted for the express breakfast at 7euro pp. It consisted of tea or coffee or hot chocolate, 3 small pastries and orange juice, but to take the same things everyday it tends to be boring.
