very comfortable , easy to take subway , no charges for internet too expensive for breakfast buffet
It is a little of city center but still very convenient located, with lots of restaurants nearby and a subway takes you right into the city center. Decent sized room with modern design. A hotel would cost three times more if in the city center. Save the money if you can stand 10 minutes of subway! The lovely Bercy Village steps away, full of good bars, restaurants, and shops.
The beds are excellent and the sofa for my little daugther was also very comfortable with lots of pillows. The rooms are really very silent even being a very large hotel, except at the morning (maybe from 9 or so) when they begin with the cleaning. But this is normal. The breakfast is bit expensive (22 euros per adult) and they also charge between 10 and 15 euros even for a young child, which I consider too much. Another point is is that you need to combine two metro lines to reach most of the Paris attractions, and if you are with young children this can complicate your stay. But for persons without children this is not a problem at all.
The hotel was in the hear of Bercy. Walking distance to the river and dining. We choose this location because of the tour company that planned to pick us up here. Great rooms, services and breakfast! Linda- California We were happy with all of the services of the hotel.
The beds were amazingly comfortable and made us book the Sofitel by the airport for the night before I flight home when coming in from Rome before returning to US, rate was much higher than others at airport but we wanted that bed! A little far out from sites, but metro stop right there and Bercy Village is a wonderful little area. Internet & breakfast items were expensive.
Room was spacious and well appointed Not enough overhead light
Nice hotel, clean, good facilities, modern, confortable room
booking.com did not send the confirmation to the Hotel, when we arrived with our confirmation number, they did not have it. very upset with that
The Pullman location is excellent and convenient, just off the Metro Line 14 St. Emillion stop. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and healthy, a great way to start a busy day in Paris. We find the housekeeping to be very thorough and welcoming, and the reception staff are professional, cheerful and helpful. There is a nice collection of reasonably priced restaurants nearby in case you don't want to travel far for a bite while getting over jet lag. As with much of Paris, the price is a bit steep for what you get. Yet we have found this location to provide a reliable and comfortable experience.
Place. Close to the metro. Parking fee, 29euro/night. Too expensive
great location within easy reach of city centre
Nice comfortabel hotel, modern and god facilities The staff i did encounter was rude and not guest oriented. My pay tv was not working and I did call the reception at 1o,30 at night. After struggling for a half hour with the tv I did not get it to work. After contacting the reception again I was informed that there was a technical problem and theta it would be fixed next day. I did inform the lady that this was not acceptable for me she informed me rude that the technical department was closed and that she could not help me further and hang up the phone without a further word. Also in the lobby I had an unpleasant encounter with on of the staff, I was having my morning coffee and was smoking a small cigar the size of a cigarette in the smoking section . While being on the phone the waiter told me that I was not allowed to smoke a cigar, I interrupted my phone conversation and ask why, he told me that it was written on a sign that was standing on the other table. Stupid of me I had to go first around all the tables in the lobby and see and read all the signs. There was no ashtray on the table so I wanted first to finish my phone call and then dispose of my cigar. This was not enough for the waiter, he told me angry, I told you before you are not allow to smoke a cigar here. I did ask him what he wanted me to do, stop my business phone conversation and start running around looking for an ashtray or put the dammed cigar in my nose or ear. An angry look and an ashtray thrown ont the table was the result
The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good as well as the location of the hotel- a few metres from the underground. Their service towards the customers should definetely be improved! No willingness to help visitors as the staff seems to be incapable to communicate with foreigners! It seems that this hotel is suitable for local people or business travellers. It's unsuitable for families with children because they don't welcome the idea of having kids free although they advertise for it! (we were asked to pay!)
Location is perfect (2 minutes from Bercy metro station and only a few metro stops from all touristic places in Paris). Rooms are very modern, clean, and stylish and breakfast was excellent with variety of foods and fruits and fresh incredients. Nothing. Almost perfect and I will definitely stay at this hotel again next time I visit Paris.
Proximity to the Palais d'omnisports No
It is next door to Bercy Stadium and metro No closet to put largage and closes, no fitness center
Seeing Everything about Paris I would not stay at this hotel again. Welcome staff Rude. Room not ready at a 11:30 pm check in., expected us to get extra bed ready for sleeping. This room was booked well in advance. It had a large dried milk stain on the carpet. Front Desk not very helpful. .
Breakfast was ok. Despite having a do not disturb sign up my entire stay, a housekeeper barged into my room WITHOUT KNOCKING (keep in mknd I could have been naked). She did not apologize. Simply smiled and turned around. I had to write a hand written note and tape it to the door so that they wouldn't barge in. In addition to that, my camera bag was stolen from my room. I'm assuming they thought my camera was inside of it and quickly took it. I told the receptionist and she goes "we'll look into it". Will never EVER stay here again or recommend it.
park and metro and rail accessibility
Easy to move around in Paris with both metro and RER stations in walking distance. The layout of the room was not very user friendly. After using the toilette one has to go in the bathroom to wash his/her hands. The doors at the bathroom are too close to the bad and open inside the room which makes it virtually impossible the concomitant circulation of two persons in a double room.
Hotel staff is very kind to us and easy to communicate with. Free breakfast for kids who are under 12 years old. Carpet is not that clean and price for 2 adults with 2 chidren is a little bit expensive.
I stayed for an event at Bercy, and the Novotel was in the perfect location! It is situated directly in front of the arena.
It was very near the conecrt arena POB. Lively street with good enough restaurants. Mertro very near. Seems secure at night.
The hotel is well situated in a good neighborhood, close to a metro line and nice restaurant area.
Everything was perfect –staff, breakfast, etc.
the neighbourhood, it's great, also there is a great sanwich store, the cheese cakes are great
Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Clean spacious room. None!
Very quiet, very comfortable A small noise from the airconditioning during the night, even when it was switched off (strangely there was no noise during the day).
Staff was helpful. Cleaners do the tidying well every morning. The hotel location was not bad 20-30 minutes away from lovre. A little bit far from the city center and airport
modern, clean, ideally located with parking facilities
I felt comfortable being a lone female guest I liked everything about my stay
Modern Style Hotel Some people need to smile more A little noise from street cleaners
location was good, staff friendly old firniture and old linen with dark sports
the studio appartment was cool and well equipped the service staff (room cleaner...) was quite unkind!
Warm helpful staff, good location. Swisscom internet service offered is very poor, continually dropping out of wireless connection and all my emails to regular business clients received my messags as spam mail
Good location, close to the metro station, the Bercy Village shopping center and restaurants.
Noisy neighborhood at night
Great staff. very helpful and pleased to assist guests. In room kitchen facilities, made the stay easier. Bed sheets could have been more comfortable. For guests stayng 7 seven, towels should be changed once free of charge.
Very good surronding enviroment, very helpful staff, Near to metro They clean the rooms only once a week!!!
I chose the hotel mainly for its location and because of the kitchenette in the room. The location in Bercy is nice indeed with a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. It was very quiet at night compared to other areas in Paris. The kitchenette in the room was very well equipped and very clean. In general, the room was clean at my arrival (with sime exceptions - see below). The room was also rather spacious compared with other Paris hotels. The "lit-armoire" (fold down bed) was comfortable. I especially liked that during the week there were free french newspapers offered in the lobby (Le Monde, Libération, L'Equipe...). The furniture (with the exception of the kitchenette) was already a bit run down. Especially in the bathroom you could see that the hotel is not new. The blanket in the bed was not clean, there were some stains on it (the sheets, the cushion and the matress were very clean, though). I also think that some members of the reception staff could have been more friendly and welcoming. Note that if you stay for more tha 4 nights, the room is not cleaned and you have to get rid of your waste. I knew that before so it wasn't an issue for me, but for other people this might be a flaw.
Location and could cook own meals breakfast ended early for a weekend
Nice tranquil stay in a brilliant central location
the hotel is clean, newly renovated, cosy. nicely done with minimalist decoration. hotel accessible to 2 metro stations. with shops and supermarkets nearby.
Great location, nice looking room, large for Paris. Only thing - they didn't replenish our coffee & tea on the 2nd day - a really small thing - othewrwise they were brilliant
Room is too small and the staff are not friendly at all, I feel like it is a hostal with cleanliness instead of treating it as hotel. But the price was good enough
Interior design and design of the rooms very elegant and unique, very modern. Impeccable service, nice people, always a greeting. Helpful with questions at the desk. Central garden (asian inspired with european wildness, romanticism). Lighting From the street in white, red in interior corridor. Good feng shui, balcony windows overlooking garden was the best feature of all!! The rooms are smallish but make living quarters very cozy and snug, good layout of rooms as well. Pas de chose. Rien...
Our room was modern and quite spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Although the room was big there was a lack of cupboard space for clothes.
Interesting, modern design of the interior of the hotel and the rooms. Very close to the metro station. Nice atmosphere of the neighborhood. Big problems with internet wireless connection! The strength of the open WiFi signal is very good but the network seems to be configured in some strange way that despite giving the correct password on the hotel website the internet simply did not work on the first day. A couple of days after there was a big failure of the router which last a couple of days. The table in the room is very very littl
The hotel has been completely renovated recently, therefor everything was in perfect shape. Nice small design hotel in a courtyard, so there is no noise from the street. Rooms are small but nicely decorated, appliances in the bathroom are of high quality. Nice breakfast room in a wintergarden but to small to deal with the number of rooms, staff is very friendly but had some difficulties to deal with the number of people going for breakfast (getting tables clean again, replenish breakfast buffet etc). Hotel is a bit noisy inside, doors closing are making a lot of noise, water was running in the tubes all night. Beds are a bit short for tall people.
The bathroom and other roomfacilities (tea, coffee). The second building was superb (except for the lack of a window to refresh the room at night). Too bad I didn't have a room over there. The staff (night staff). The main building, the breakfastroom (cheap!).
The friendliness, the ambience, the locality and the breakfast. Can't think of anything.
Location near the Metro. A pretty noisy place on main street.
Nothing matched description. Location not at walking distance to Gare du Lyon, especially with luggage. Star rating of 3 is deceptive. It is 1 star at best WiFi did not work on 3rd floor. I was told to use it in the lobb y. Room had no AC, clock radio, coffee maker or soap. Room was tiny, carpet was old and ripped (tripping hazard). I was told I can get Ac room if I stayed 2nd night. Far from station. AVOID!
Hotel employee at the front desk was beyond accommodating. No price break for construction in progress
location was excellent, everything with in a stones throw. it was very unfortunate that they and you did not tell us this was one of those secret specials because they were in full renovation. The noise was deafening. Twice the lobby door did not open and we stood out in rain. It was bad.
The pillows were great
Close to metro I felt the bathroom was not cleaned very well. I could smell urine from bedroom
convenience to omnistadium
Hotel has convenient location, room is very clean and as family we've got two joined rooms with separate facilities. We are pretty happy with our stay in the hotel. Breakfast is simple. We stayed for 3 nights and I wish they change something from time to time. You can have cereals, croissant, cheese, ham, coffee, and juice. Some small features are available in lobby only. Like there are no tea pot in a room and you have to go to the lobby. Initial registration to wifi is not straight forward and not adopted for mobile or ipad. Once you manage to pass Connect button it works.
Location is excellent for Gare de Lyon. Very good value for money. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Room size is very good compared with other Paris hotels of the same rate. Plenty of budget restaurants, bistro's just opposite the hotel. Air conditioning was a bit noisy.
Clean, good breakfast included (real orange juice), nice flat screen, excellent location. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Heating did not work but was offered apology and a discount
take a trip at Paris they should supply one big bed for couple, rather than two small beds
It's a good hotel, my room was lovely i'm Italian and the staff speak too fast in my opinion. Anyway there were a lot of people there!
hotel was very clean n modern staff friendly and helpfull and the food good too.excellent location for the omnisport arena..a very pleasant stay would definately return..
Cafés, bakeries, the métro (Dugommier) and a supermarket are not far away. I didn´t try the breakfast. It is a small hotel (with small rooms), but the rooms are renovated and arranged practically. You can hear the TV from the room next to you.
Clean, simple, felt safe, helpful and reliable staff Rooms much too dry. My daughter was allergic to soap used on sheets. Late night shower set off smoke detector. Emergency vehicles pass often at night. No phone in room. Family could not call us.
The hotel is newly renovated, with nice bathrooms and furniture. Best for people who want to enjoy a calm stay in Paris. The towels were not changed every day.
Small but nice hotel. The rooms aren't big but are very efficiently designed. Nice decorations as well. The breakfast was good for french standards, the price reasonable. You won't find any cheaper breakfast outside of the hotel with the same standard. The staff are nice and friendly, we bought a small bottle of champagne to drink in our room and asked for plastic glasses, but got real wine glasses to use instead, very nice of them. Beds were a little short, not suited for tall people.
The staff went out of their way to be helpful during an usually stressful time in Paris (Uncertainty of travel due to labor protests). Our room was spacious, immaculate, quiet & well lit...great for reading. The bed was spacious & very comfortable Although the bathroom was modern & spacious, the sink was square & flat...very attractive, but not designed for drainage; The lack of a shower enclosure for the excellent shower leads to the flooding of the entire bathroom floor for those unfamiliar with it's peculiar way of operating.
Friendly, helpful staff. Nice, modern rooms. Close to two Metro stations. In a quiet neighborhood. Breakfast was reasonably priced, and much bigger than expected. Overall very enjoyable. My only complaint is that, while outside the hotel is very quiet, sound travels inside the hotel, so you can hear it when someone comes and goes in the hallways or switches on the tv.
Clean and reasonably comfortable room in ideal location for my specific needs. Lack of facilities in room. No telephone, only one powerpoint, very small desk/work area. Expensive for the facilities provided.
The room was clean, bright, and new looking. Had plenty of storage and was very cute! The whole place was darling and well designed. Everything worked perfectly and was very comfortable.
The hotel is very close to the subway making for easy travel anywhere in the city. The room is extremely small. Booked a double, but the bed was very small for two people. No luggage stands or counter/table for luggage.
